24 Hour Emergency Vet Hospital and Urgent Pet Care in Staten Island, New York

Dr. Mark Fealey
Medical Director
Wagner College; Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine
Born and raised in Staten Island, Dr. Mark Fealey has always been deeply connected to his community. Following veterinary school, Dr. Fealey completed a rotating internship at the University of Pennsylvania with focused training in Emergency & Critical Care, Surgery, and Internal Medicine. He then went on to complete a surgical internship at the University of Florida, gaining advanced surgical skills before returning to his hometown to practice.
For two years, Dr. Fealey worked in general practice and urgent care in Staten Island, where he reconnected with local families and their pets. Missing the opportunity to teach and mentor young veterinarians, he joined VEG. In addition to serving as Medical Director for VEG Staten Island, he is also a surgical instructor within the company, helping develop the next generation of veterinary professionals.
Dr. Fealey loves the open concept, collaborative atmosphere, and strong sense of community that VEG offers both staff and pet parents. His passion lies not only in providing exceptional emergency care, but also in making sure clients feel included, informed, and supported throughout their pets’ care.
