VEG is skilled to handle emergency care for avians, reptiles, and all types of exotic pets.

DO I HAVE TO CALL BEFORE COMING IN?

Having to take your fur child to an emergency veterinary hospital is never easy and is very stressful. However, the staff at VEG is so caring and compassionate and do their best to decrease the stress of the animals and their humans. It can be a little strange when you first enter because the hospital is completely open including the procedure areas. However, this makes it much easier for the human family to fully participate in the treatment for their furry family member. Although I chose not to stay overnight, it was an option if I wanted to be with my pet the entire time. While my pet was hospitalized, I would come visit and the VEG staff made sure I had the space and time to spend with him. I hope people don't need to take their furry family members to the emergency hospital but, if they do, I highly recommend this facility.

VEG was competent, helpful and kind. They act quickly and seem to genuinely care about our bunny. The price for the service was reasonable as well. I recommend them and will go back if I need to.

I came in on Sunday with my beloved guinea pig in a sudden decline. I spent the entire day at VEG with my toddler and I cannot express how wonderful their entire team was. They could clearly see I was struggling to hold the line between how emotional I really was and needing to keep my toddler occupied and semi-quiet and they quietly did everything they could to help not just my sweet guinea pig but also us. I’ve never ever been to a hospital setting pet or human that was this caring, this prepared, and this thorough. I unfortunately had to bring my girl back in the middle of the night to euthanize her and the way they cared for us all truly meant everything to me. Thank you guys so much for trying so hard 🤍
