Dr. Brewer grew up in Southeastern Wisconsin, obtained her undergraduate degree from University of Wisconsin- Madison. She went on to obtain a Master's degree at University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee before attending University of Minnesota School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating veterinary school in 2018, she completed a rotating internship at VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver in 2019. Following her internship, she was an emergency clinician at a specialty and referral center in the Twin Cities for five years before going into general practice. She heard about how VEG was revolutionizing the emergency experience for people and their pets - soon after she joined the team!
