Dr. Kasmarik is a Twin Cities native and grew up Coon Rapids, MN. She obtained her BS and BA degrees from Northern State University in South Dakota and then went on to obtain her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota. After graduation she worked at a local non-profit veterinary hospital while also working part-time as an emergency veterinarian at a referral facility in the Twin Cities. During this time, she also became a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in Canine and Feline Practice.
Throughout her career she developed a passion for emergency medicine and being available to clients and their pets, but also to local veterinary partners when they needed it the most, which is what led her to VEG. What she enjoys most about working for VEG is being able to include clients in every step of the process which in turn gives their pets more security and stability and as a team navigate the ups and downs of emergency medicine.
Her special interests include surgery and providing a spectrum of care.
