I am so impressed with the veterinary team at VEG. My kitty was acting off and really scaring me, so I took him in. I was seen immediately, everything was explained to me as it was happening, I was able to hold my boy while they did an ultrasound and bloodwork. When they didn’t find anything conclusive, the doctor went over possible next steps for diagnostics and shared that she did not think they would be helpful or necessary for his case. They were able to give him medication to help him feel better right away and sent me home with thorough instructions on next steps. Price was what you would expect at an ER clinic, but they were transparent and up front about it which goes a long way. Today, my kitty boy is back to his usual antics thanks to their quick action. Thank you to the whole team for getting Thomas O’Malley back on his paws! (Photo of him using said paws to try and swipe his dinner bowl out of my hands tonight)

I arrived a couple of weeks ago with my heart and my mom's broken in thousands pieces getting ready for an awful outcome. One of my 4 legged babies was agonizing on my arms, we were a mess barely holding it by God's grace, the team received us and right away started putting things in motion to take care of my Fortu, and comforting us as well , I only have praises for the team at Veg, the nurses and Dr.Kennedy Tool, by the morning next things were so different and everything looked and felt just like a bad dream. I have 6 fur babies and Fortu is the youngest one and just as important as my senior dog, I hope to have kids one day soon so I can tell the story and they can meet my sweet Fortunato my most precious one ❤️ worth his weight in gold. Thank you guys At Veg for doing your best, my sweet mother and I are so grateful 🙏.

VEG for pets in Flower Mound is by far, the best Pet ER that I’ve ever experienced! I have a doodle with a very sensitive stomach, requiring ER visits on multiple occasions. But I’ve never experienced the personal attention & compassion I received at VEG, at any other ER. Every person working there is helpful, friendly & so caring for Quigley, my doodle, as well as myself. Quigley needed to be hospitalized overnight for further hydration. I hated leaving him, when the staff advised I could stay with him all night, in a room with a pullout bed. They provided all the linens, pillow, & made up the bed, before moving Quigley & me in for the night. Everyone was so courteous, when checking on Quigley throughout the night. This was truly the best experience I’ve had at any ER. VEG ER will, always, be our home for any emergency needs.

We took our dog penny here late into the night due to her leg pain. We ended up finding out she likely has a torn ligament and will need surgery. Our dog hates the vet so much and was not at all cooperative to getting shots to sedate her for the X-rays. The team at VEG was so understanding and accommodating despite her freaking out. She was a tough cookie to deal with, but Dr. Bogart and her team handled her with ease. Our poor dog was scared to death but they were so sweet and kind to her, helped settle her down and ultimately we were able to get the X-rays we needed. I wish we could go to them for the surgery she needs, but we will definitely be back for any emergency needs. I cannot recommend them more highly! Do not hesitate to bring your pet here, the team is lovely ❤️

I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff is not only knowledgeable but also sociable. They were so amazing! You could tell they loved what they do and this was the field meant for them! Sherman went from the first photo to the second photo in just hours. Big improvement! They knew exactly what to do and how to help. I wish the team the absolute best in the world! May your phones always be charged, your cereal never become soggy, and your laces stay tied! Sherman says thank you for everything.

The team was amazing throughout the entire process. They went above and beyond our expectations. We brought in Charizard our crested gecko who had a hemipenis prolapse. Most people would think it’s just a lizard but their compassion and process was one of a kind and something my partner and I have never experienced before. Allowing us to be with him the entire time, having an open layout that allows for all pet parents to be there through out every moment and even offering us a bed to stay and get some rest while our little guy recovered. My partner and I were considering euthanizing due to the cost of the procedure. (In our experience with other vets if we could not afford the procedure we were forced to either surrender or euthanize). We were just heart broken with this through. But the team comforted us through every decision and truly helped us financially to save our little guy by dramatically reducing the cost and relieving that burden. A huge shout out to China who answered my call and comforted us throughout the entire process. To Jess and Dr.Rivera who took amazing care of Charizard. They both were so compassionate and helped us out with our decisions. Giving us options and how to best support him and truly went beyond by helping us by reducing the financial burden. This team is truly amazing during this difficult time. We will forever be grateful and will definitely be coming back for any emergency, and telling our friends and families about VEG ER for Pets! Thank you guys again for everything!

I took my dog there for a ruptured A.G.. From the moment I called, they were amazing. Once I arrived they greeted me at the entry, took my boy to triage him, explained every step. I got to stay with him so he was comfortable during his procedure. They didn't take him in the back. Its an open treatment area. The way the techs and vet treated me and my pup was wonderful. Pricing is comparable to other emergency services. However what makes them different is they will work with you and not make you feel shameful if you need help. If you find yourself needing Emergency services I highly recommend them. Its nice to take your fur baby somewhere that cares.

Everyone from Anneque at the front , the technician ( whose name I did not catch) and Dr Bailey were so lovely. Also, the Dr that I spoke with the following day was so thoughtful, helpful, and a pleasure to speak with. While my puppy was stable, there were multiple bigger emergencies being attended to. The care the patients, and the owners were receiving was all done with expertise and kindness. Bari and I say thank you so very much !

I had a really good experience here with my cat, Beau. As a college student on a budget, I really appreciated how understanding they were and how they helped get him the treatment he needed at a price I could afford. They were kind, patient, and never made me feel judged, even when I was second-guessing myself and worried about Beau. They were very gentle with him, and multiple staff members came in throughout the visit just to check on him and love on him. You could tell he already felt better just from all the love and attention he was getting. I’m so thankful for the care they gave Beau and how supported they made me feel during a stressful time. A special thank you to the nurse with the blonde curly hair and the male doctor, they were both wonderful.

The long awaited review! My star team! ⭐️Dr. Klipin ⭐️Yoshi ⭐️Nayeli ⭐️Rene ⭐️Brandi ⭐️Dr. Kuscevic ⭐️Diana This team is AMAZING! I don’t even know where to start. I came in on Saturday 06/06 at 9:30pm for an endoscopy on my son, Luther (doberman) who swallowed a small tennis ball. The team got to work very quickly starting him on Apromorphine. First dose didn’t work, YAY let’s give another dose to my hard headed boy!… still nothing. Fantastic! Let’s do an x-ray. “Mom, you’re gonna want to come see this” The team finds not 1, but 2 balls. Endoscopy time! I got a front row seat to watch the whole procedure which was very entertaining I might add. We end up finding out that this not so little man was putting together what Dr. Klipin very accurately referred to as a ‘treasure chest’. He had devoured 1 pair of my underwear, 3 tennis balls, a couple of pieces of cardboard and a heck of a lot of grass. Every pull was a celebration! 🎉 Unfortunately not everything got to be pulled out since it was located in some very hard to reach crevices in his stomach. We’ve reached the 2hr window… time to consider surgery. This is where I start getting emotional. Yoshi was very personable and starts to reassure me that everything will be fine; that this isn’t the first case they see like this and most definitely won’t be the last. He was by my side every step of the way and for that I appreciate him. We proceed with surgery. It’s 4am by this time and I have to work at 8:30am🤮 so I go home to take a nap. I come to see Luther during my lunch break and was absolutely delighted to see that Diana was sitting on the floor, taking care of Luther. She didn’t recognize Luther or I at first but she was one of the previous nurses at the Banfield Coral Gables location that quite literally watched Luther grow up from 3 months old to the wonderful boy he is now. I was SO excited to see her. I came back later in the day to pick him up and got told by Dr. Kuscevic that he was recovering with flying colors. YAY! On my way out to the car, I ran into Yoshi coming in for his shift. He could not believe that Luther had recovered so well and was so so excited for him to go home. I apologize for the long story time. Overall I just wanted to express my gratitude to everyone who helped me through this process. Nayeli, the vet technician who monitored his anesthesia and all of Luthers needs during his procedures. Rene, for getting a killer finger and hand workout when she was gifted the title of “the grabber” during his endoscopy (I hope you’re ok girl…because OUCH). Apologies to anyone whose name I left out! Here are a couple of pics of my menacing boy recovering maybe a little too well. He swears this whole ordeal was a figment of my imagination because he is completely unfazed.

They met us at the door and from that moment on they were so kind so communicative and just wonderful to our dog. The office is clean, well organized and laid out so you are never away from your pet. We appreciated the care in every step they administered. If you need emergency vet care, this should be your ONLY choice. 14 dogs over our lifetime, we speak from experience, and heartache.

this place was super awesome and i’m so glad i took my bunny here when she had an injured leg. immediately i felt welcomed, and i knew my bunny was going to be in good hands. the entire building was organized, clean, and the exam rooms were very private and comfortable. much more comfortable than a human doctors office that’s for sure! the veterinarians and the techs were so incredibly friendly, helpful, and kind. as a nervous bunny-mom, they eased my anxiety and treated my baby with such gentle care and respect. they were informative and supportive, and gave me plenty of tools to care for my bunny’s needs. i would recommend this place in a heartbeat.

This was my 3rd visit to VEG (all different pets). I will not go anywhere else, despite having used all of the 24hr Animal ERs in my area over the years. There is no comparison. This time my 3-month old kitten ventured too close to my dog and as she was escaping, he bit off the end of her tail, leaving the bone exposed. The awesome techs and doctors at VEG are so kind and very experienced. I was there about 3 hours, while my kitten was sedated, an IV put in, more anesthesia, then intubated. Then surgery to remove the part of her damaged tail and suture the tiny stump. I was able to watch the entire procedure (my choice). I know what you're thinking...how much? Their pricing is fair. Not the cheapest and not the most expensive. I keep a savings just for these emergencies, as I have many pets and you never know. I'm grateful to them. They really care.

My Jack Russell was attacked by a coyote. I called ahead and they had doors open and table ready with all hands on deck. The calm demeanour by everyone helped keep me calm. He stayed 4 days since he was in such bad shape. They saved his life and treated him like he was their own. I know he was held and loved at night when I or my husband couldn’t be there. Thank you Dr Boiskin and Dr smith (day and night doctors who spent by far the most time working on him). Highly recommend VEG!

I took my dog of 16 years of age KoolWip into this ER at 12 midnight and I was greeted with the best professionalism I’ve ever seen, and my dog was taken care of immediately. Unfortunately, there wasn’t anything that we could do for my baby and I elected to allow him to go and rest in heaven. I was given a very quiet peaceful room to say my goodbyes to him and sat with him for a while and then the doctor gave him the medicine to let him go to sleep. I just want to thank them for how much they did. I’m so happy that it was there that I was to say goodbye to him because they treated me with the best sympathy and empathy. Thank you so much for loving what you do and it’s showing in your behavior. My KoolWip will be missed very much. Tina Willis

They were the only place that was willing to do the surgery on my dog for the amount I had. They were very professional and polite. When I got there they ran their test and informed me it was to late my baby girl wouldn't make it through the surgery. You could tell they all cared about a dog they didnt know and gave me all the time I needed to say goodbye. This all happened between 3 am and 430 am. I am thankfully for all they did and if I'm ever in an emergency like that again they will be the first place I go.

2 for 2. No facility is perfect, and an ER naturally comes with its share of challenges, but we truly appreciate the care shown to our disabled pug. She suffers from spinal cord disease and is unable to relieve herself on her own, so occasionally we need a little help. Over the course of two visits, the staff was kind, compassionate, and genuinely caring. Because it’s such a busy facility, there was only one staff member present during both visits, all the others were new to us. That said, every person we encountered clearly had our dog’s best interest in mind. Especially Dr. Kim and Dr Paola (Didn’t get her last name). As a pet owner, it’s important to understand the difference between what is medically necessary and what may be recommended to reduce liability or rule out more serious concerns. Some reviews criticizing costs may not fully recognize that distinction. Ask questions, educate yourself, and discuss options before approving testing — the staff has always been willing to explain recommendations and answer our questions thoroughly. If you are considering surgery and have the luxury of time, it may also make sense to consult with a specialist, as this is primarily an emergency facility. At the end of the day, aligning expectations with the purpose of the facility matters. We’ve consistently been impressed by the kindness, compassion, and professionalism shown to both us and our dog, and we will absolutely continue bringing her here when needed.

When my golden retriever had an eye emergency, I chose this ER simply based on location and a quick glance at the reviews. From the moment we walked in until the time we left, I was incredibly impressed with the care we received. The entire staff was so gentle and compassionate with my dog, and I was especially impressed by how thorough the exam was. Dr. Kimberlyn W. took the time to clearly explain which tests she recommended and why, and I appreciated being given pricing information before anything was done. At no point did I feel pressured into additional testing or treatment. Ariela and Shannon were also absolutely amazing throughout my dog’s care. Honestly, the best way to describe this place is something one of the assistants said: it’s like “The Avengers” of veterinary medicine. The best of the best all came together to work here. The diagnosis and treatment plan were explained very thoroughly, which I truly valued, and I was sent home with printed information to refer back to as well. During the wait for bloodwork results, someone even came in with a basket of snacks and offered me something to eat or drink…such a thoughtful touch during a stressful situation. I would recommend this place 100%.

VEG ER is amazing. They have a very caring team and I credit them with saving my dogs life after he was exposed to methamphetamine at dog beach. After we were released from the hospital we had several concerns. Each time I called I was able to immediately speak with a doctor. Truly exceptional care. Thank you all so much!

I can't thank y'all enough for everything you did for her. From the moment we walked in, you treated her with so much care, compassion, and kindness. Not only did you take amazing care of her, but working with us on the bill meant more than words can explain during such a stressful and emotional time. You truly have hearts of gold, and I will never forget the love and support you showed our family. Thank you for helping us when we needed it most and for treating her like she mattered. We are beyond grateful for every single one of you. They immediately saw her and loved pixie so much. They have a heart of Gold 🥺♥️

This was not my first time at VEG, but it was my first time at the Federal Way location. It was an extremely busy Saturday when I pulled in with Mini, my 5 year old cat, who was having issues urinating. Our wait was very long, as Mini was still extremely lively and early into her urination issues (only having started having issues that day), so we were bottom of the priority list. The team had new, high priority/critical patients coming in almost every hour during my 9 hour stay, and still, one of the vet techs took the time to check in with me several times while waiting to be seen to make sure Mini and I were comfortable. The team were great and thanked me for my patience and understanding. I got to stay by Mini during her ultrasound, and Dr. Ana explained calmly everything she was seeing and what it meant. Mini was ultimately diagnosed with a UTI; i asked to specifically get liquid versions of Mini's antibiotics and pain meds, and Dr. Ana happily accommodated my request. I brought Mini back in today to check her bladder, as she had not needed to pee most of the day yesterday, and the vet in today checked her bladder and happily reported she was empty! My visit today, Monday at 3pm, took only 5 minutes, but the peace of mind was worth more than money could buy. I'm grateful for the compassion and kindness of the VEG team.

After our local emergency vet closed, we found VEG during a late-night crisis on Thursday, Jan 29th. Our dog, Buck, had a deep laceration on his thigh. From the moment we called, a human actually answered and checked us in while we were still driving. The triage was seamless—we were moved to a private room immediately for vitals. I really appreciated the 'Openness' and 'Togetherness' they promise on their walls; we never felt left in the dark. While they were honest that Buck wasn't the most critical patient at that moment, the communication was constant. Dr. Pritchett was very thorough and explained the treatment plan clearly. While the cost was higher than expected, the professional environment and care convinced us we were in the right place. The real test came when Buck tore his stitches out that Sunday. When we returned, Dr. Naqvi truly lived up to the value of 'Finding a way to say yes' by working with us on the cost for the second procedure. Both doctors were incredibly compassionate and made a stressful week manageable. They handled everything with his primary vet and ensured his recovery plan was solid. Highly recommend VEG Cedar Park for any pet parent in a crisis.

The team at VEG ER are amazing. My family had to make the difficult decision of laying our sweet 15 year old Mini Poodle to rest due to advance illness. As heart- wrenching as it was, the team's calm, soothing nature towards me made this process much more bearable. The room was comfortable, clean and thoughtfully laid out. They spoke softly, explaining each step of the process before and during, allowing time to process what's happening. They didn't us rush out, but encouraged us to stay as long as we needed to to grieve our beloved pet. I couldn't have asked for anything more. The service was priced reasonably and the offered memorial options on-site and for order. I'm grateful to have found this location to handle Harry's final arrangements. I'd like to specifically thank staff members: Taylor and Lindsey.

Dr.Rogers is an amazing veterinarian and all his Nurses on night shift 03/18/2026!!! My cat had a urinary obstruction and was so sick and lethargic as soon as I brought him in they immediately put him on a triage bed and took genuine care! The authenticity and genuine empathy and compassion is unmatched to any other vet services I have ever been to !! My kitty Fito had a urinary Catheterization to release his bladder and prescribed amoxicillin and gabapentin for after care and prescribed food we left about 4 hrs after his procedure. While I would recommend staying for hospitalization because that can be life saving and I wish I could have I absolutely didn’t have the finances . So now Day 2 after surgery his life is better he has started urinating and he is happy boy again ! I might add the nurses were the kindest loving on him and being the sweetest. No matter what happens in the future I am just grateful he was able to receive this care and work within budget. I would recommend to anyone ! Please bring your pet here if you have any doubts just go!

We had an incredible experience at VEG ER. We brought in a stray dog, Misty, on a Sunday night to be scanned for a microchip and get a quick exam. From the moment we walked in, the staff was so kind, compassionate, and welcoming. What truly sets VEG ER apart is how they include you in every step of your pet’s care—you can stay with your pet the entire time, even during procedures. That level of transparency and comfort is something you just don’t see everywhere. Even though Misty is a stray, they treated her like she was their own. That meant everything to us as a rescue. Knowing you can stay overnight with your pet or visit them at any time brings so much peace of mind. We are beyond grateful for the care they provided. Highly recommend VEG ER to anyone who needs emergency care for their pet.

My cat Stewart was pretty sick, so I brought him to Medvet after he vomited blood. They were absolutely horrible. After waiting hours past when we were supposed to be seen, we left. I tried to get him in to OSU, but they were full and recommended VEG. I had actually never heard of them, but I haven't really dealt an emergency situation before. I called, in tears, and they immediately helped calm me down. Once I got there, they brought us back right away. They listened to all my concerns and addressed everything I mentioned. They were transparent about possible problems he could have, the costs of everything associated, and treatment plans. The vet we saw was Sarah. She's absolutely amazing! I couldn't praise her enough. Sarah and all the other staff were kind and compassionate. They were everything you would want or need in an emergency situation. I couldn't be happier about the experience we had and would recommend them every time! Thank you guys so much for helping our little guy out in his time of need. He's doing great thanks to you all!

Our dog ate a towel and were worried about his intestines. Took him there and the staff was great. Busy, but great. It's an open architecture, everything is out in the open, basically just a large room, you kind of get to know what's going on, the good, the bad and the ugly. Staff are super busy, and it is expensive, but they know what they are doing and are prepared for anything (that fits) to come through the doors. We were encouraged to come visit and sit with our dog as he needed to be there for about 10 hours to get a couple sets od X-Rays. Not the most comfortable place, but we sat in his cage, and I think he felt OK.

My wife and I rushed our orange male cat to this emergency vet late at night due to what we thought was a urinary blockage. We were both very scared and didn’t know what to do. As soon as we walked in, they took us to a table and started examining him. Within 2 minutes, they had already done an ultrasound on him and confirmed no blockage!! They helped us understand everything that was happening while it was happening and it made us feel so much relief, we knew he was in great care. They made sure he was comfortable and we were comfortable throughout the whole visit. I asked a lot of questions and none of the staff ever seemed annoyed, they were happy to answer every question we had. This emergency vet is absolutely our first choice in any emergency. Very well priced for what we had done. Absolutely amazing staff, we did not have one bad experience during our visit. We are very very appreciative of their amazing and quick care!!! Thank you so much!!!

I came in on Sunday with my beloved guinea pig in a sudden decline. I spent the entire day at VEG with my toddler and I cannot express how wonderful their entire team was. They could clearly see I was struggling to hold the line between how emotional I really was and needing to keep my toddler occupied and semi-quiet and they quietly did everything they could to help not just my sweet guinea pig but also us. I’ve never ever been to a hospital setting pet or human that was this caring, this prepared, and this thorough. I unfortunately had to bring my girl back in the middle of the night to euthanize her and the way they cared for us all truly meant everything to me. Thank you guys so much for trying so hard 🤍

Took my cat, Gemini, here when he was in heart failure and I was shocked at the level of urgency the whole team took to care for him ASAP. They really care here. I had to make a tough decision to put him down or help him recover from the episode even though he may only have 6-18 months. They broke the news to me with so much compassion and were honest but also let me make the decision on my own. 2 other vets gave me the same 6-18 month prognosis. I’m happy to say he’s officially made it over 6 months since taking him to VEG! I’m beyond grateful to the team for playing a huge part in his recovery, giving him a longer life, and giving me more time with him. He’s still doing great! Writing a review is the absolute least I could do. I will say their entire business model and set up is also really great, so definitely check them out.

Treated my dog and me so wonderfully. They listened and were never dismissive, they answered my myriad of questions without being defensive or annoyance, the proposed a comprehensive plan without unnecessary elements, were open to modifying the plan when this was both ok medically and better fit my dog and life. There was pretty much no wait but then again I arrived very early in the morning. Later on there were more patients but I did observe the staff doing their best to give wait time estimates to callers and those walking in. At every moment it felt like they were all on my dog's team and I genuinely appreciate it. Finally all kudos to Dr. Fuentes who seems to suspect the diagnosis from the start and based mostly on my retelling of the events.

IMPRESSIVE! It was my first time going to veg and I was nervous since my cat had a fever. The space is spacious and clean. I was greeted at the front desk and rapidly escorted to a table where a nurse came to check my cat. Doctor Chavez prepared an estimate and since I was a little hesitant with one of the exams because of the price, nurse Melanie helped by figuring out a way of still getting the treatment but closer to my budget. I felt very supported and understood while my cat got everything he needed. Highly recommend VEG. They take your pets situation seriously. While I was waiting, a dog came in needing CPR and everyone on the floor rushed with urgency and professionalism.

VEG ER for Pets is absolutely amazing. The care and service that we received exceeded our expectations. Upon our arrival we were immediately greeted by the front desk staff and given an area to wait. Our pet was immediately triaged by a clinical staff member and Dr. Travers came over quickly to further assess Sebastian. We were kept updated throughout the entire process, and any questions or suggestions we had were heard and answered. During our stay we had multiple exceptional doctors. We cannot thank Dr. Travers , Dr. Darrow, Dr. Hart and Dr. Williams enough for the care they provided our precious pup! Every doctor in the practice was kind and available even if they were not assigned to our case. The nurses Cheyenne and Ashley went above and beyond during our entire stay and made the experience more manageable and a lot less scary. John at the front desk constantly checked on us to ask if there was anything we needed to help us be more comfortable. Everyone was exceptional from start to finish and I cannot say enough about the care we received. They even let us bring a toy from home for him while he stayed. We are truly grateful to everyone there! If we are ever in need of emergency veterinary care in the future VEG ER will be our destination.

I had a great experience at VEG this past weekend. Lucy needed emergency surgery after swallowing a sock, and the entire team was compassionate, professional, and communicative throughout the process. They took the time to explain everything, kept me updated, and made a stressful situation much easier to navigate. It meant so much to me that I was able to visit Lucy after her surgery whenever I wanted. Being able to see her and check on her during such a stressful time provided a lot of comfort and reassurance. I am so grateful for the care Lucy received and am happy to report that she is recovering well. A special shoutout to Dr. Bradley for her kindness, expertise, and dedication. Thank you to everyone at VEG for taking such great care of my girl!

They were completely amazing! A wonderful experience for an emergency visit. I appreciate how they handled our pet (Loki) and us, the process was comforting, relaxed, educational and judgement free. In the end everything turned out fine and exactly how they told us it would go. Love this vet team, and will definitely be going back. 10/10 service/compassion! Thank you! 🙏🏼

I had to bring my dog to VEG ER for the first time after it was recommended by our regular vet, and I’m so grateful we did. The staff was incredibly kind and reassuring during a stressful situation. The facility is clean and welcoming, and they even offered me a bed to stay overnight with my dog. They provided frequent updates and were very transparent about pricing. You can tell the team genuinely cares about the animals they treat. I highly recommend VEG St. Pete.

Unlike any veterinary experience I’ve had! I was so pleased a board certified radiologist did my dogs ‘s ultrasound and the veterinary technicians were fantastic as well doing the x-rays, taking blood samples and giving lots of love. The woman who checked me in at the front desk, couldn’t have been any nicer and so compassionate. Best of all I loved being with my dog through the entire process, right by her side instead of sitting in a lobby, waiting.
