Everyone was very kind and attentive with Lyla. They made a stressful situation much easier and took great care of her. I had a great experience overall and really appreciated how helpful and compassionate the staff was. The only downside was that the visit was quite expensive, but I’m grateful Lyla received the care she needed.” The staff was amazing. Thank you to Dr. Chennault, Madison( the nurse), Julissa and Jennifer for taking good care my Lyla.

Every staff member and doctor who worked with us went above and beyond. Even as the number of patients coming in continued to increase quickly, they never allowed the stress or pressure to affect the level of care and compassion they showed. They remained calm, attentive, and genuinely caring toward every pet and family they were helping. That says so much about the kind of team they are, and it definitely did not go unnoticed.

I had a great experience at VEG ER for Pets. The staff were caring, friendly and welcoming. We saw a doctor right when we arrived. The open floor plan was very different from our vet’s office. Treating my dog while we were sitting on couches instead of a sterile exam room definitely reduced my stress and my dog’s anxiety when we visit a vet. The staff were very professional and knowledgeable and communicated with us every step of the way. I was with my dog the entire time and helped comfort him when the nurses took blood and examined him. The care was top notch. I would highly recommend VEG for anytime a pet needs immediate medical attention.

I would highly recommend taking your pet to VEG ER for Pets. The staff was very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. We were seen pretty much immediately, and I was kept apprised of everything that they were doing to care for my pet. I even watched them perform the x-rays through a little window. It’s a bit expensive, but not egregiously so when compared to other emergency vets in the area. For the services rendered and the quality of the staff alone it was well worth it. Striper and I are so grateful!

I really appreciate the team at VEG! I really love the transparency and level of care we always receive for emergencies. Carl (pictured) feels much better. My partner and I always use VEG for our emergency needs, for all 3 of 4 of our dogs that have needed it. I can see how much the entire team cares about everyone's pet in their open floor plan, which i really like. Thank you guys again!

Amazing experience at VEG today. The staff are so kind and empathetic. I was not expecting it to be a completely open space but was grateful to be with my dog the whole time. It's truly a unique experience but I understand the concept and I think it's comforting for the pets and owners. By the time I got there my lil guy was coming down from a seizure and they let me sit there and monitor him in case they were needed. And although they checked his vitals they said my visit was no charge. I appreciated them just being there If I needed them. I hope I never have to return but this is the only place I'll be going if I need to. Thank you to everyone ❤️

I brought my dog into the ER and was fortunate to meet Dr. Roberts, who compassionately guided us through a difficult time. She examined my dog and inquired about her condition, showcasing extraordinary care and empathy. Dr. Roberts exceptional kindness and dedication surpassed any veterinarian I've encountered. Erin, Dr. Roberts assistant was equally impressive, offering kindness and support. Together, they made a heart-wrenching decision more manageable with their compassion. Though I had to bid farewell to my beloved pet, their kindness eased the process, helping me find solace in a difficult moment. She was born with the heart, knowing she will capture everyone's heart she met.

Our old boy Squatty lived a long, but hard life. He happily shared his last three years with us with such love and loyalty. Saying goodbye to him was hard, but the kind and caring staff were with us through it all. They involved us in every step taken in Squatty’s comfort and passing. The team at VEG ER are beyond amazing! They truly love their work and truly care for our pet-kiddos. Thank you so much for your help in such a trying time. We left there feeling lifted by compassion and the peacefulness of our boy. 🐕💙 Godspeed, Squatty!

I can’t recommend this place enough. Emergency vets can sometimes be considered a little scammy or care salesman-y but this place is nothing I’ve experienced before. I wish they did regular vet care. First, whenever answered the phone was kind and helpful. I was able to pre-check in through a link on my phone. Got there and they have couches for you to sit with your pet so you can stay with them the whole time, loved that. The nurses and vet techs were all so nice and patient with my standoff-ish 8 month old puppy. The dr we had was really calming, straightforward, gave an honest assessment and gave options for care. The most shocking part though? THE PRICE! I have paid more in a regular vet visit for vaccines than I did for this emergency exam plus treatment on a federal holiday afterhours. I am changing our pups emergency vet to VEG and will recommend to everyone I know!

I can’t thank the staff at Veg enough for their compassion, tireless work, and unwavering dedication to their patients. During an extremely busy day, Dr. Cameron, Dr. Wells, and Dr. Thomas did everything they possibly could for our sweet Betty. They communicated Betty’s prognosis to us in a clear manner and were honest and kind at every turn. Every single staff member had her best interest and comfort in mind and helped keep me grounded. Our technicians Caitlin, Melissa, Danielle, and everyone involved in triaging her as a stat patient worked together to make sure she received the best care as quickly as possible. Raven and Jackie at the front desk checked on us frequently and never made us feel rushed about billing during this extremely difficult time and did everything to make us feel comfortable given the circumstances. During this time, the staff did a tremendous job with not only providing incredible care for our sweet girl but every single patient that walked through the door. Again I want to thank every single person on staff who helped our sweet Betty find peace, especially Dr. Thomas for giving her every chance possible and helping us say goodbye. The compassion we felt at Veg brought me to tears. I don’t think I have the words to truly express my gratitude to each of you but please know that your kind words and support aren’t something I’ll ever forget. On behalf of our little stinky lady, thank you so much.

I had to take my dog to VEG ER tonight and they were so nice the whole time! Super busy but still checked in on us several times, while we waited for pets with more serious issues to be helped. I was asked three times if I wanted water, tea or coffee. I watched them race to help a woman who ran in with her Frenchie that was having breathing problems. I watched them comfort an upset couple. I watched as they let a family with kids hug their dog when it was asleep from sedatives, and while they surgically removed a foxtail that made its way halfway up the pups leg. I even saw them treating a python! The vet gave me lots of info about what they thought was wrong with my dog, explained what they could do, and gave me a quote before doing anything. They said “absolutely”, when I asked if they could try to help him without the light sedation (didn’t work well - so he got the shot), and let me help try to hold him still when they gave the sedation shot (he’s 70lbs), and again when they did the procedure. They didn’t act scared of his aggressive behavior when he was in pain/scared, my former vet acted afraid him twice before just from him jerking his head away when she was checking his ears and wanted him sedated. They didn’t push any extra pills or procedures or diagnosis’ he didn’t need AND I left there with a bill less than a what I’ve paid for ear infections at the former vet! They were very busy and I was only in there a couple hours. I definitely recommend them.

No one wants to take their fur baby to the ER, but if you ever have to, I highly recommend VEG. All of the staff were amazing, especially Ant who assisted us and the doctor! Dr. Dietz was our attending doctor and she was highly knowledgeable, thorough and answered all of our questions with patience. The entire staff were very kind and caring throughout the entire process. I had a follow up question and called a couple days later. The doctor answering was just as nice and helpful as everyone at our original visit. Thank you to VEG for taking such good care of our kitty and providing the best experience!

I want to thank everyone I came in contact with at VEG Larkspur for their kindness! I felt very well taken care of and supported, and I appreciated that Riley's care was nurturing, comforting and thorough. The intake process with James was outstanding. He helped me settle down, with a private room which was so helpful, and he even shared some chocolate from his private stash :-) The doctor and every single one of the vet techs who helped Riley were wonderful, so caring and compassionate! The written report I received from Larkspur VEG via email a few days later was very helpful and included every detail of our visit including lab results. Their follow-up messages were so thoughtful, much appreciated, and they also forwarded a copy to Riley's regular vet. I'm so glad that Marin County now has this wonderful vet ER group, and I highly recommend them! Riley wants everyone to know that he is feeling much better now. =^..^=

I absolutely love VEG! They have an amazing staff. Each time we went the staff members were so calm and professional. Any time we’ve had emergency situations with our dog, we only trusted them with handling her. My Great Pyrenees is reactive and she isn’t fond of new people, but they were so sweet and understanding with her. We made it work and she got the best care. They have blankets, snacks, and drinks available as you wait which is comforting. I highly recommend VEG. 10/10

My experience taking my 1 year old toy poodle Luxe was amazing. It was everything I expected and more. As soon as I stepped foot in the door I was met by one of the staff members and Dr. Pauline Bravo was right there to attend to my Luxe who was not feeling well. Veronica and the rest of the staff were very helpful, friendly, devoted and professional. I would recommend the VEG Emergency Hospital to everyone that needs help with their fur baby/babies. VEG staffs are truly team players. Thank you for taking care of my Luxe. Regards! Rossalyn🩷

The kindest staff! They made me and my dog feel super comfortable, explained everything that was going on. Even came and sat on the ground with me and my pup. Shoutout to all the staff working Monday night (07/13)!! They even built a make shift wall so my reactive dog could be as comfortable as possible and not see the other animals coming in and out. Also incredibly clean inside!

I’m beyond grateful for everyone at this pet emergency hospital!! From the moment my mom and I walked in with my cat Polly, they took her in immediately and treated her with so much kindness and compassion. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly caring not just to me, but especially to sweet Polly. I wish I knew everyone's names because they all deserve to be recognized for their amazing hearts!!! The staff worked so quickly, kept us informed, and gave Polly the best care imaginable! Seeing how gentle, patient, and loving they were with her meant everything to us during such a scary time. Thanks to them, Polly got the help she needed and we were able to bring her home. I truly feel so blessed and thankful that we had this place. If I could give them a million stars I absolutely would!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such wonderful care of Polly. I will never forget the kindness you showed us🥰❤️

Dr. Fahey and the entire team here at VEG in Palo Alto were absolutely fantastic! My dog inhaled a foxtail and they immediately took action and resolved the issue! We are so grateful for their professionalism and care. Every person we interacted with on their large team showed us kindness in a stressful situation and helped answer all my questions. We were in and out in less than an hour and a half and the price was so reasonable for the level of care he received. Highly recommend this group.

*****I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANY PET EMERGENCIES YOU MAY HAVE****** They do it all!! This is a REAL E.R. like as if it were for people. They will help your pet in an emergency, no questions asked! The doctors here ARE AMAZING!! They truly care here about animals. That's a rarity nowadays. This is THE 1st pet clinic in San Antonio that I've been to that actually has doctors and staff that care. I've lived here my whole life and I'm 40 now, that says it all just in itself. The compassion, understanding and communication from the doctors and staff really show! I really liked how the doctor squat down to talk to us at our eye level while we were sitting on the couch. It's the small little things as such that stick out the most when it comes to patient and doctor relationships. Her assistant was just as great too! She spent a lot of time talking with us about the Healthcare process and the procedures. They also have a financial program here that can help pay your pet bills if you cannot afford them, which I think is AMAZING! It's very clean, neat and organized. They have free coffee and snacks. The restrooms were exceptionally clean too. I'm happy my dad decided to take orange kitty here. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all your help, concerns and thorough efforts. This is a DEFINITE 10 STAR PLACE. Keep up the great work ya'll. 👍

VEG emergency vets was a savior for our elderly dog today . He's 13 and was in such pain all night he could not lie down, he paced and panted. He has arthritis and joint pain . VEG got him on meds to make him comfortable so our son who's had him since the first grade could spend a bit more time with him . I truly didn't expect to bring him home but he's wagging his tail at our son and eating . We know we are going to say good bye soon but not today . We were able to help make decisions. We were giving an option for X-rays but asked if we could just try meds to get him comfortable. They were totally okay with that . They made us feel comfortable and seeing them care for other pets as well was a experience that reassured us we took him to the right place ! This facility is top notch and was so needed in our area. Prices were very reasonable for emergency pet care. Thank you VEG ❤️❤️

I cannot say enough about the care and compassion we received at VEG ER for Pets during one of the most difficult moments with my dog, Poet. From the moment we walked in, the entire staff was calm, kind, and incredibly supportive. They acted quickly to stabilize him and kept me informed every step of the way in a way that was clear and easy to understand, even while I was overwhelmed and emotional. I especially want to recognize Jasmine, who went above and beyond. I was extremely distraught after learning Poet had been diagnosed with Addison’s disease and could not stop crying. She took the time to comfort me, explain everything thoroughly, and help me regain a sense of calm. Her compassion felt genuine and grounding during a very frightening experience. Every single person we interacted with showed patience, empathy, and professionalism. They didn’t just treat my dog—they supported me as an owner going through something heartbreaking. They truly made me feel cared for like family. I’m deeply grateful for the entire team at VEG ER for Pets. I would highly recommend them to anyone facing an emergency with their pet.

The whole team was amazing. They saved my frenchie Lola on the spot from respiratory failure. Lola was cared with excellent skills, love and lots of care. Her nurses Alex and Clencly were by her all the steps of her life threatening episodes, saving her twice from respiratory colapse. Her amazing Dr. Lopez was great walking me through all the intense life threatening episodes and ensuring she had her meds, tests and constant care around the clock. In the middle of an awful ER day, I felt in the best hands, and truly cared by all the staff and most importantly her immediate team. Best ER in the city! 💓🐶

I am forever grateful to the entire team at VEG for the compassion, kindness, and exceptional care they showed our beloved kitty, Bella. We first came to VEG because Bella wasn't doing well, and our veterinarian suspected there might be something wrong with her spleen. Dr. Gabriela Reyes was the attending veterinarian that day. From the moment we met her, she was incredibly kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain what she believed Bella might be facing and treated Bella with such genuine care. An ultrasound was performed, and we returned home hoping for the best while waiting for the results. Later that same night, Bella suddenly began gasping for air and could no longer move. We rushed her back to VEG immediately. By then, the ultrasound report had come back and confirmed our worst fear: Bella had a very aggressive cancerous tumor in her spleen, and surgery was no longer an option. As heartbreaking as it was, our family made the difficult decision to let Bella go peacefully so she would no longer suffer. Dr. Gabriela Reyes showed us extraordinary compassion during one of the hardest moments of our lives. She gave us the time we needed, answered our questions with honesty and empathy, and helped make an impossible decision just a little more bearable. I will never forget her kindness. The entire VEG staff was equally amazing. Every person we encountered treated Bella—and our family—with such dignity, warmth, and respect. They made an incredibly painful experience as peaceful and comforting as it could possibly be. While we wish the outcome had been different, I am deeply thankful that we found VEG. Thank you for caring for Bella with such love and for helping our family say goodbye with compassion. Bella will always be in our hearts, and we will never forget the kindness your entire team showed us during her final moments.

My two doggies got into some human medication and we needed to have them looked at asap. After speaking with ASPCA poison control, we took them over to VEG on Ralph Avenue. We were greeted by friendly staff when we came in . This was very consoling for me. After weigh in they took us into a room . I gave all the pertinent information I'd written down with the poison control number. This helped with check in process. We were there for a few hours. Dr Anderson went over a couple of options and she gave honest opinion of which course of action to take. We went with that route. It's the next day and my two doggies are 100% their normal self and getting into things.

I have been to many veterinary clinics/hospital in my life but Veg Care was incredibly amazing from the start to finish with our little Rose and her tummy issue. Jamie was amazing how she communicated with Rose throughout her care and made her feel comfortable. You can tell animals are her passion. Also Celia was wonderful. And then there is Dr. Ortiz. She was incredible giving us advice and treating Rose. She had so many animals to care for and I watched how she went to each so attentively. I highly recommend Veg when caring for your pet when needed. They are incredible! Much love to them and thanks you!! ❤️ Bless you all! 😊

Our dog needed care for an infected, newly discovered wound late Saturday night. We were greeted by kind staff who directed us to an open bay with a comfortable place for me to sit and a dog bed for my pet. I wasn’t used to the open vet setting where we could hear most conversations with owners there and see most interactions. But it was comforting to know other worried pets & parents were treated so well. I was informed of everything about my dog’s condition and given time to ask questions. An estimate was texted to me. I didn’t have to leave my dog when he was taken to a procedure table in center of the facility and in view of all. He was given adequate sedation during the procedure and sent home with pain meds snd antibiotics. I regret I can’t recall names of the 2 kind, knowledgeable vets working with us. But the awesome staff were Gabbie and Nancy. I have a healing broken bone and Nancy even got my dog in the car for me. Hopefully we never need another emergency vet visit- but if we do, we will definitely come to VET.

We walked in and were assigned a room to get assessed right away. The intake desk and nurses did a check up on our pet bunny who had an upset stomach. The doctor nurses and staff were attentive to Louie, and explained every bit of the process with us. We were there for a few hours, but that's what to expect from any ER. They had water and some snack for us while we waited for his X-rays and diagnostics to come back. We are grateful for the attentiveness of the doctor and her entire staff for our bunny's recover from his belly. I can't thank you enough for his care. If you have a pet .. this is the ER to go to.

VEG IS WHAT PETS AND PET OWNERS DESERVE! My previous experiences in the ER with my dog were traumatic. The first thing they did was charge me for the visit, only to leave me waiting. I felt judged for not having enough money for their overpriced procedures. They had me waiting, took my dog away from me, and returned her sedated and shaved. After 5 hours, we left without a diagnosis, having overspent and found no solution. VEG was different. As soon as we arrived, they let us in with our dog. They checked her and asked about her symptoms. Quickly, Dr. Petrice gave us a care plan, always respecting our choices and financial possibilities. They performed the procedures where my dog was comfortable, allowing us to comfort her during the blood tests and ultrasound. For that reason, neither restraint nor sedation was needed. In the end, they offered us options for our dog's care and showed compassion, again without judgment. The prices were very reasonable considering my previous experiences. I feel blessed for finding this place where I can help my dog without feeling like I am being taken advantage of, and where staff show care and kindness to my pet. But mostly, where I could find answers and solutions. I definitely will choose VEG if needed again, and I will definitely recommend it to my friends.

Absolutely massive shoutout post to VEG and their staff. Blown away at the level of care I received by the team there. I brought in my baby ball python that had a cloacal prolapse. This is the first time I’ve dealt with it, so I was terrified, and there were no exotic vets with availability. I was hesitant to bring him here, since I was doubting the level of experience they had with reptiles, and would’ve rather have brought him to a specialty clinic. But I am so glad I brought him here. Dr. DeZara was not only extremely knowledgeable and confident, but she even brought in a specialist to assist with the anesthesia (thank you Fortune for coming in and helping out.) He was handled with so much love and care, I am so extremely grateful. The techs and nurses were all so accommodating, they put him in a heating tank and put rick and Morty on an iPad for him. That blew my mind? I don’t think I’ve been to a vet that’s thought to put TV on for an animal (even though I’m sure he probably couldn’t have cared less, the thought of it made my heart want to burst). They did everything to ensure his comfort and handling through what was a very stressful time for him. They fixed and stitched him up, and then sent us on our way. He’s now recovering, with a follow up in 2 weeks at a hospital they referred me to. They took pictures and sent them to me, hopefully the one I’m including isn’t too graphic. Feeling very very grateful today.

Update: More than a week later, he is still doing amazing! He’s back to parkoring with his siblings at 3 am, yelling at us so he can go sunbathe and eating like a horse. THANK YOU AGAIN!! 😭 I cannot put into words how grateful I am for VEG Alpharetta. Last week, our cat Guy Diamond, who is only 2 years old and whom we’ve had since he was about a week old, became extremely sick. What we thought was a stomach issue quickly turned into every pet parent’s worst nightmare. After bloodwork at our regular vet showed he was critical, we were rushed to VEG because they were the only nearby hospital with the medications and level of care he needed. The moment we walked through the doors, they already knew who Guy was. They immediately took him back and started working on him while keeping us informed every step of the way. Within hours, we learned that he had developed a severe kidney infection that had progressed into sepsis. His blood pressure was around 40/20, his kidneys were reaching their limit, and he had virtually no white blood cells. We were told his chances of survival were very low. I was an absolute emotional wreck. What stood out to me wasn’t just the medical care—it was the compassion. The doctor sat on the floor with my 5-year-old daughter and me and walked us through every option with so much patience, honesty, and empathy. They never pressured us. They simply helped us understand what Guy was facing and supported us through impossible decisions. When they told us that euthanasia would be a completely understandable choice given how sick he was, I looked at my daughter and knew I wasn’t ready to give up on him. This cat is her best friend. He’s family. So I gave them my budget and asked them to do everything they could to save him. The team at VEG did something I’ll never forget. They made my daughter and me a bed so we could stay overnight with him. If you ever have the opportunity to stay with your pet during a hospitalization, do it. Throughout that night, I watched these doctors and nurses pour their hearts into every animal that came through those doors. I saw heartbreak. I saw families saying goodbye. I saw pets fighting for their lives. And I saw a veterinary team that never stopped caring, no matter how exhausted they were. It completely changed my perspective on veterinary medicine and why emergency care costs what it does. They do so much more than people realize. I stayed awake with Guy until almost 5 a.m., praying harder than I think I’ve ever prayed in my life. Then the miracle started happening. His blood pressure began improving. His fever started coming down. And then we got the news that made me completely lose it, he was finally making white blood cells again 😭 They even showed them to us on the screen. I cried like a baby. After seeing so many heartbreaking cases come through that hospital, I wanted them to have a win. I wanted my daughter to keep her best buddy. I wanted our little boy to beat the odds. And somehow, he did. He wasn’t out of the woods yet. There was still edema around both kidneys, and we still had a lot to worry about. But every update got a little better. Every hour he fought harder. Less than 24 hours after we were told his chances of survival were slim, Guy came home. Today, just a few days later, he’s eating, drinking, using the litter box, demanding attention, and acting like the same goofy cat we’ve always known. Watching him curled up on the couch again feels like a gift I wasn’t sure we’d get. To every doctor, nurse, technician, and staff member at VEG Alpharetta: thank you. Thank you for treating Guy like he mattered. Thank you for treating us like family. Thank you for your honesty, your compassion, your skill, and your willingness to fight for him when things looked hopeless. Because of you, my kids still has their best friend. And because of you, we still have our Guy Diamond.❤️

I first brought my toy poodle Milo here back in April and they were so helpful and friendly. I brought him back yesterday and they were very understanding and accommodating. My biggest problem with most vets is not feeling understood and not being able to be with my dog for his care, but VEG allows you to be with your pet the entire process and they are very attentive. For my visit yesterday my dog was seen by Dr. Tool and she is phenomenal. VEG is truly the best of the best.

To the AMAZING staff that helped me, my husband, and our baby boy on Christmas morning, THANK YOU for doing everything you could, under stressful circumstances, on Christmas Day, to help my reactive and aggressive dog, Hurley, safely get tinsel out of his stomach. It has taken me so long to write a proper thank you because shortly after this incident, we had to euthanize our boy. I am still actively grieving, but I want you to know how much you are appreciated, especially under the extreme stress we and our dog were under. You all risked yourselves to help my dog without hesitation. He snapped over and over at the air, wanted to get as far as he could from you sweet people as possible, and you still tried your best to instruct me to help as his trusted person, get a cone on, give him dose after dose to vomit the tinsel - and it worked. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for taking care of us and our boy that morning. Upon returning home from RI, we had to say goodbye to our boy due to his aggression soon after. This was one of the last awful memories for us and stressful events for him after years of trying to help him, manage triggers, medications, and consulting with experts to keep him happy and everyone safe. He was at his lowest seeing you all, and you showed him and us grace that made it just a little easier, and that meant so much. People are often quick to blame, not understand, or lack empathy - but not your team. Thank you a million times over for your quick action, thoughtful consideration in reducing the stress and any procedures for Hurley, and for your compassion for animals and people alike. I will never forget that day for more than one reason, the second being how you responded with huge hearts. Thank you, you all are actual angels on earth.

I brought my senior cat Sylvester in for a vet visit. He's 20yrs old, and I felt the quality of his life was declining. They explained to me what I was feeling was real, and they were happy I brought him in. Even though he was my friend, he was suffering. They advised that it was best to think of his quality of life. I put him down that day, it was the hardest thing I have ever done, I just couldn't fathom having him suffer any longer. The staff here was very patient, sat with me, hugged me, and were super empathic. They explained everything and I felt they really saw how much he meant to me. I have never been to a vet that took that kinda time and patience with me, they were honest, and made me feel he was safe. I left there upset over my best friend, but also happy on how well we were taken care of. I cant imagine what these folks go through on a day to day. I take my hat off to you for such an amazing experience. I will absolutely refer anyone looking for a vet to come here. These are professionals that are real people that actually care about you and your best friend. I cant even explain how much I truly apricated all these folks did for me. I came back a week later on the 1 week mark of his passing, and brought them donuts and flowers, thanking them for there kind words and compassion. These folks have a real special place in my heart.

Wow! what a facility. Nothing fancy but efficient. The staff is fabulous! They made me feel at such ease when my bird was attacked by a cat. The doctor and vet assistant were so caring and knew their stuff. Nothing reassures a parent more.I travelled all the way from Clarksville, and would do it again in a heart beat. I'm happy to say Pippy is doing well and resting. Her Hubby said to tell you THANK YOU! C.Mason :)

I can't say enough about the care we received at this emergency vet. When my almost 3-year-old fur baby, Tobi, swallowed what looked like a crocheted sock on our walk, I was beyond scared. I couldn't find any emergency vets nearby in Chino Hills, but I was so fortunate to find this place. From the very first call, they treated me and Tobi like family. I was able to be right there with him every step of the way. No separation, just inclusion. They let me witness everything, from inducing vomiting to the X-rays, and they were so confident and calm, which helped me stay calm too. Ultimately the object was too big and needed an endoscopy with claw thing to remove which had me SHAKINGGG. They explained every single step, even when I didn't fully understand, and I felt so included, like we were part of their family. They were not just attentive to Tobi, but also to me, meeting both our needs and keeping me as calm as possible. Thank you to everyone--Bri, Elle, Sebastian, and Dr. Wickham, you made us feel so seen and loved. If you're looking for a vet who treats your pet and you like family, this is the place. Thank you all so much! I can't thank you guys enough!

I can't thank y'all enough for everything you did for her. From the moment we walked in, you treated her with so much care, compassion, and kindness. Not only did you take amazing care of her, but working with us on the bill meant more than words can explain during such a stressful and emotional time. You truly have hearts of gold, and I will never forget the love and support you showed our family. Thank you for helping us when we needed it most and for treating her like she mattered. We are beyond grateful for every single one of you. They immediately saw her and loved pixie so much. They have a heart of Gold 🥺♥️

Piggy backing on my husbands review because words cannot express the gratitude I have for this place. Everyone is amazing here and have a great compassionate team that will do everything they can to help your pet. Our Salty is 14 years old and did not think it was possible but they managed to get her better and return to her usual shenanigans. People with the bad reviews/comments about the cost, need to understand that this is AN EMERGENCY service. I understand times are tough for everyone but if you want/need the best care,it will be well worth it. Also the concept of being able to be with your pet the entire time is absolutely amazing and I cannot imagine going anywhere else now. Will recommend them to everyone!

I don't think I could really put into words how much I truly appreciate VEG. I've been to the VEG location in Leesburg 3 times and each time I've been blown away each time. The first experience was a sad one but not because of VEG, our 16 year old cat was having seizures and Dr Reiss and her team were there in a heartbeat. They did absolutely everything they could to save her but unfortunately she didn't make it but their compassion and support through it all was so comforting. My second visit, our sweet 9 week old puppy, Tucker, got puppy strangles - Urgent care couldn't figure out what was wrong with him but within a few minutes of stepping into VEG I felt supported when Dr Anderson and her team made sure that he was triaged immediately and tests were run. She knew immediately what she was looking at and that made me breathe a sigh of relief especially that we caught it in time and it was curable. I felt so comfortable leaving him overnight, I got a call before bed and first thing in the morning, I was able to bring my boy home early the next day and the treatments have made him a brand new dog! He's very happy and healthy! My last visit was a few days ago and it was the most heartwarming and supportive experience of all. My sweet baby cat, Ryder, had to come in due to a fever that started at 104 and then spiked to 106, with no known origin of where it was coming from which terrified me to no end. The support I felt from the staff - Vincient, Sonya, Madison, Lily, Kaitlyn, Kelly, and Aaron just to name a few made me feel like I was with family. I was able to stay the night and they went out of their way to set up a bed for me in the room I was staying in so that I could stay with my boy. They made sure I had snacks and drinks so I was taking care of myself too. Dr O'Brien, Dr Mollano, and Dr Reiss - Thank you for saving him, for working to figure out the best approach, not making me feel crazy for any of my questions or suggestions, just all around making me feel like we were a team and he wasn't just another cat. I feel like thank you isn't enough but I really couldn't fully express how grateful I am for you. There is no one else I'd trust my animals with, VEG is an extremely special place with an extraordinary staff and the best doctors. Thank you for everything, you all have a very special place in my heart.
