Bringing your fur baby to an ER is never pleasant. The staff at VEG ER has been amazing and supportive. We were promptly greeted walked on the door, our dog was promptly triaged, and we were kept informed all along way. The staff offered us drinks and snacks and done everything possible to comfort us and our dog. They let us be there through it all, provided us a room with a couch that they converted a bed to let our dog, who has very high anxiety rest with us while we were waiting for results.

Both of my cats have been admitted overnight. The most recent one was the scariest. He was very close to death and they were very quick to take care of him. They monitored him so well and gave him all the things to make him better. We slept there with our cats both times and it has been amazing each time. They are not only attentive to your animals, but to you as well. They genuinely care about you and your animals wellbeing. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone

Sadly, I had to rush Robert back to VEG just hours after our first visit because he suffered a severe second wave of anaphylactic shock. To say this team is life-saving is an understatement. They immediately admitted him for a 24 hour overnight stay, monitored his shifting vitals minute-by-minute, and completely pulled him out of danger again. While the entire 24-hour staff was incredible, Dr. Beckwith, Dr. Ritchie, Erin and Carolyn were absolute heroes during the day and overnight shifts. They treated Robert like their own. They gave me total peace of mind during a mentally draining crisis. Carolyn and Dr. Beckwith laid the perfect foundation during the day and the overnight team Dr Ritchie and Erin took exceptional care of him through the night. I’d like to reiterate, the ENTIRE staff was amazing! I just don’t remember everyone’s name! Thank you VEG Mount Pleasant! Thank you all for giving my boy his life back twice in one day!

Absolutely the best place to bring your pets! The staff at VEG ER for Pets were incredibly sweet, gentle, and compassionate with my kitten. We were in a really tough spot financially they charged $300, but all we had was $40, and they still took care of him without hesitation. I’ve never seen such kindness and professionalism. They made a scary situation so much easier and really put my kitten’s comfort first. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone they truly care about your pets!

Excellent in every regard! Every employee showed professionalism and compassion (for my cat and the humans!) The issues and treatment plan were thoroughly discussed at every point in time. It was comforting to be able to stay with my cat through the 48 hours required.

My two doggies got into some human medication and we needed to have them looked at asap. After speaking with ASPCA poison control, we took them over to VEG on Ralph Avenue. We were greeted by friendly staff when we came in . This was very consoling for me. After weigh in they took us into a room . I gave all the pertinent information I'd written down with the poison control number. This helped with check in process. We were there for a few hours. Dr Anderson went over a couple of options and she gave honest opinion of which course of action to take. We went with that route. It's the next day and my two doggies are 100% their normal self and getting into things.

Our dog needed care for an infected, newly discovered wound late Saturday night. We were greeted by kind staff who directed us to an open bay with a comfortable place for me to sit and a dog bed for my pet. I wasn’t used to the open vet setting where we could hear most conversations with owners there and see most interactions. But it was comforting to know other worried pets & parents were treated so well. I was informed of everything about my dog’s condition and given time to ask questions. An estimate was texted to me. I didn’t have to leave my dog when he was taken to a procedure table in center of the facility and in view of all. He was given adequate sedation during the procedure and sent home with pain meds snd antibiotics. I regret I can’t recall names of the 2 kind, knowledgeable vets working with us. But the awesome staff were Gabbie and Nancy. I have a healing broken bone and Nancy even got my dog in the car for me. Hopefully we never need another emergency vet visit- but if we do, we will definitely come to VET.

I had a great experience at VEG this past weekend. Lucy needed emergency surgery after swallowing a sock, and the entire team was compassionate, professional, and communicative throughout the process. They took the time to explain everything, kept me updated, and made a stressful situation much easier to navigate. It meant so much to me that I was able to visit Lucy after her surgery whenever I wanted. Being able to see her and check on her during such a stressful time provided a lot of comfort and reassurance. I am so grateful for the care Lucy received and am happy to report that she is recovering well. A special shoutout to Dr. Bradley for her kindness, expertise, and dedication. Thank you to everyone at VEG for taking such great care of my girl!

I brought my kitten in last night and was seen by Dr. Weymouth and Nurse Mahala. I can't thank them enough for the care and attention they gave us. They were incredibly informative, took the time to explain everything thoroughly, and were so patient with all of my questions. They even stayed overtime to make sure everything was properly taken care of before we left, which really meant a lot to me. What I appreciated most was their honesty and professionalism. I never felt rushed or dismissed, and I could tell they genuinely cared about my kitten's well-being. I left feeling confident that she got the care she needed. Thank you, Dr. Weymouth and Mahala. I'm grateful to have a 24/7 vet I can trust with my pet.

Thank you for honoring Willow Dear Katelyn, Kailey, Lauren, Dana, Jo, Mayla, Kay and the entire VEG Ann Arbor team… Thank you for the beautiful rainbow bridge card covered in your handwritten notes, and for the precious pouch of Willow's fur. We were heartbroken to lose her in our truck before we could reach you. The wonderful female Veterinarian who helped us with Willow when we arrived was so gentle and kind, we so very much appreciate her! Please forgive me for not remembering her name. The fact that you would take such gentle care to honor a girl you never had the chance to meet means more than I can say. Having something so soft and so her to hold has been a deep comfort. Please accept the attached thank you from our family, with Willow's sweet face. We will treasure your kindness always. With sincere gratitude, Ursula Good & Family

Dr. Ogg, Dr. Wilson, Julia, Sarah and Kylie all took such great care of my dog when she needed to be hospitalized over night. They were so attentive to her and making sure she was comfortable. Her visit was a bit traumatic for me but it was overall a very positive experience knowing she was well taken care of. Taylor was so helpful with billing and making sure my dog’s records transferred to her primary vet. VEG has always been my choice for emergency care, they go above and beyond every time. So thankful for the vets and techs in this office!

I hope we never have another emergency but know I can count on VEG ER for Pets to provide valuable care. THANK YOU so much to the professionals at VEG ER for Pets, you were there in our time of need. Very well run emergency vet clinic. We were seen promptly and given a private room for our cat. Everyone was so kind and patient. The vets we worked with, Dr Keifer and Dr. Sarbry, were knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly examine and explain treatment options. Our cat had a suspected obstruction so we first took a conservative approach of fluids and monitoring for 8 hours. When that didn’t work, Dr. Keifer performed surgery. The surgery was quick and successful. Throughout our stay the staff was very gentle and patient with our girl even though she was very “spicy”. I really appreciated that we felt so welcome to stay as long as we wanted and to be part of her care. We were even invited to watch the surgery. I highly recommend VEG for pet emergencies.

The team at VEG worked diligently for hours on our Golden Fitzgerald (Fitzy) after he had been attacked. My husband rushed our beloved boy in during the middle of the night while I was several plane rides away from home away at work. The team was transparent, open, and never sugarcoated anything (which I greatly appreciate) which made it very easy to know I needed to get back to Illinois. Fitzy spent 3 days as an inpatient with VEG. As a trauma/flight nurse of 20 years myself; I couldn’t have been more amazed at the work this team did. If you are in need of a highly skilled, experienced, talented, empathetic, well trained team that has unlimited resources at their fingertips for your pet… this is where you want them to be. I knew Fitz was in the best of hands. We couldn’t be more happy with all the care Fitz and our family received from VEG! We want to truly thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for saving our boy Fitzy. No words could express the gratitude we have for everything you did for him, I was blown away by all the services you were able to provide for him. I truly know had he been taken anywhere else: he wouldn’t be here today. I never knew what it felt like to say “thank you just isn’t enough” … We wish we could properly express our gratitude for your quick and lifesaving actions. Forever grateful, The Bossio Family

This place was unbelievable! I came with my guinea pig, and they took me right away into my own room. They checked in on me constantly, even though I had to wait for the other animals that were there before me. They even came in and offered me a cookie ha ha. It was actually for me. I highly recommend coming here. I came all the way from Napa and would do it again in a second.

There truly aren’t enough words to express how grateful I am for this emergency hospital and the incredible people who work here. During one of the scariest moments of my life, when our cat was hospitalized, every single person we encountered treated him with so much care, patience, and compassion. After spending many hours there, I saw countless pets coming in and out, and one thing became very clear: this team genuinely cares about animals. That matters so much because every pet that walks through those doors is scared and vulnerable, and the way they are handled makes all the difference. I also really appreciated how transparent and open their setup is. Being a 24-hour hospital already provides peace of mind, but what stood out even more was how accommodating they were. They even offered to let my husband and I to stay overnight to be with our baby boy, which meant a lot to us. A special thank you to Sarah, Brie, Marcela, and Dr. Kagan. Dr. Kagan was the one who detected my cat’s heart murmur, which led us to see a cardiologist and ultimately discover his heart disease. We will always be grateful for his attentiveness and thoroughness. Thank you all for treating our cat with such thoughtfulness and kindness. You made an incredibly difficult experience a little less frightening, and we will never forget it.

I am so incredibly grateful for everyone at VEG ER! When I brought my boy, Arlo, into their clinic, from the very beginning we were met with kindness and compassion. As soon as I got there and told them my cat is a bit anxious, Kevin set us up in a private room in case my cat decided to run and hide. Throughout the time there, Kevin also checked in on us while we waited for bloodwork results and other treatments! The team that took care of Arlo were so thorough and gentle with him. Dr. Riddick, Alicia, and Brittany G were all so amazing with Arlo. Their care definitely made the situation, that could have been stressful, a lot easier for both me and my boy. They explained everything as they went and never did I feel like I was left wondering what was next. Thank you VEG ER team for helping Arlo feel better!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this ER vet clinic! I took my cat in yesterday, and from the moment we walked in, the staff was so kind, attentive, and supportive. They made sure I felt informed and reassured every step of the way, which was a huge help during a stressful time. It’s clear that everyone there truly cares about the animals and the people bringing them in. I’m so grateful for the care my cat received and would definitely recommend this office to anyone who needs urgent veterinary care.

We had an amazing experience at VEG ER for Pets in Maple Grove. I took my Harper girl in for eclampsia, and the moment we walked through the doors, she received immediate care. The entire team was compassionate, attentive, and acted quickly. Dr. Chandra and the staff did an incredible job stabilizing Harper and getting her back on her feet within just a few hours. Their knowledge, professionalism, and genuine care gave us so much peace of mind during a very scary situation. One thing we thought was unique about VEG was the open treatment area. It was reassuring to see the veterinary team caring for other pets, and my daughter enjoyed watching the team work and seeing some of the procedures being performed. It really showed how dedicated and hardworking everyone is. A special thank you to Nurse Sean, the curly-haired vet tech who greeted us at the door and immediately sprang into action, the first veterinarian who started making calls for Harper while we waited for Dr. Chandra, the Asian vet tech who disconnected Harper’s IV line, the wonderful staff member who initiated Harper’s IV, the tech who helped Sean gently hold Harper during her second lab draw, and the kind lady who helped us with our payment. We are so grateful for each of you! We didn’t forget about you, we just forgot some of your names. 😄 Thank you all for treating Harper with such kindness, compassion, and urgency. I can’t say enough good things about our experience. We are incredibly grateful for the exceptional care Harper received and would highly recommend VEG ER Maple Grove to all of our friends and family. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our sweet girl!

Lexi showing the doctors the "all clear" and back to enjoying her favorite pastime. We've given her raw bones while supervising her for over 10 years. Well, she managed to get one stuck in the roof of her mouth that we could not dislodge. The staff at VEG was phenomenal. They started treating her the minute we got into the door. Being able to see them treat her gave us a level of comfort. Highly recommend. PS...Lexi is happy to report she will only get the meat off the bone now.

I will always be grateful for the care and support we received. Dr Irvin and her staff at the Sugar Land location showed so much compassion and took great care of my little Yogi Bear during this challenging state. They did everything to keep him comfortable and calm while providing great medical care. Allowing me to be there at his side throughout his treatment also helped to make him feel safe. brought my dog Nala into VEG during one of the scariest nights I’ve ever had with her. She was extremely congested, struggling to breathe, and her little body was working so hard just to oxygenate properly. It was a full emotional roller coaster — trying to stay calm, trying to understand what was happening, trying to process the cost, the options, the medications, the X-rays, and the fear of not knowing what was causing it. Dr. McKinney was Nala’s main doctor, and Susan and Sam were the main techs caring for her. I was genuinely so impressed by them. You can tell when people are just “doing a job” versus when they are deeply passionate and extremely knowledgeable as this team was. They were thorough, calm, sharp, compassionate, and incredibly present. What stood out most was how much they kept me updated. I never felt like Nala was taken away and I was left in the dark. They explained what they were doing, what they were watching, what they were concerned about, and what the next steps were. They were watching every detail, and that gave me so much comfort during a terrifying situation. Also, VEG is truly like a regular ER. There is a lot happening in there, scared families, sick animals, emergencies coming in, people making hard decisions. It was honestly beautiful to see them in action. Very organized, very attentive, very human. Emergency vet care is never easy emotionally or financially, but I left feeling deeply grateful that Nala was in such capable hands. I feel lucky to have this team available in such a scary time. If you are wondering whether this place is okay: hands down, the best. Thank you Dr. McKinney, Susan, Sam, and the entire VEG team for taking such good care of Nala and for everything you do.

Both of our dogs had to go to the emergency vet yesterday, which was a bummer Fortunately, Mykayla and the team at Veg were so awesome and took such good care of Rad and Barker. When we got there Barker our 90 pound Great Pyrenees couldn’t walk. The team brought a stretcher to help us get her out of the truck and rolled her immediately into a room. With each step of her treatment, they were just so sweet and caring and cared for her as if she were their own pet. They took extra care to do as many x-ray pictures as it took to properly diagnose the problem with her knee. They were very detailed and covered her history and made sure that there were no complications related cancer that she had in the past. Mykayla and Joey had helped treat Rad earlier in the day and they made a point to ask how he was doing after he left. There were just so many special things they did to take special care of our dogs. Too many things to list, but we wouldn’t consider going anywhere else in the future and highly recommend the vets at Veg.

They took such great care of my cat star! We brought her in because she had been hurting and we knew we had to put her down that night, They put us in a comfortable relaxing room to love on her while she was getting put to sleep. All of the staff were super kind and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye to her! They also sent me home with so many paw prints and fur pouches With her fluff in it, which meant so much to me! A few days later, we got a call saying that her clay paw print was ready and I picked it up today and it was absolutely beautiful!!! They are such an amazing animal Hospital and I definitely recommend!!!!!

A new concept in vet care. Open concept office. Exceptional care from asst to tech to nurse to vet. A bit pricey but not like VCA. I went in on a Sunday morning at 6:30am so prices should be a premium. And the talent and equipment are upgraded. Great care for my sick kitty. This is now my go to for emergency vet care.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THEM. I’ve been raving about them every day to people. On Friday 5/15 my cat was showing obvious discomfort with signs of a urinary issue. Our primary wouldn’t be open long enough to do a procedure and recommended we go to Veg in Allen. We live in Wylie, but after speaking to them on the phone (extremely kind and informative) I decided to go to them. I’ve never seen an open concept vet before, it was interesting- I don’t mind either way as long as orange boys healthy. LET ME TELL YOU - they were so sweet, every single nurse and doctor, to my child and myself on top of our cat. We were there during a busy time of day, so waiting was to be expected and they were so accommodating and offered us some snacks to munch on while waiting for availability to do the procedure. I watched parts of the procedure for my cats urinary block, got to ask questions, learn, I actually had a good time. Didn’t expect that! Of course, a 2 day hospitalization would be best for my cats needs but I couldn’t afford it. They went over the feasible options for me and were sure to tell me the benefits of each thing on the list and risks of taking him home but were doing their best to ensure he would be as healthy as possible. They took their time during the procedure, other nurses came up and offered to assist or just watch. You can tell they love to be there. I cannot say enough good words about them. He is doing well 5 days later🧡 thank you!!

OUR DOG ALMOST DIED 😭 We came home to find our 12 year old Pit-bull with a turned stomach. We rushed him to VEG ER and they were so quick to act. Doctor Gaby Carl was incredible. She was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us all the facts but was also empathetic and kind. Doctor Gaby saved our dog. The surgery went well and we were able to take him home the following day. We are so grateful for VEG ER and their staff. We thought we were going to lose our family dog. Everyone was so accommodating and kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. Also love how calm and joyful the staff was even in the midst of a crazy moment. It made my family feel at peace. I couldn’t recommend them more.

We brought our beloved cat, Miso, to VEG after she was transferred from another veterinary clinic for severe respiratory distress. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the entire team was ready for her. They immediately began treatment, performed diagnostics, and moved with a level of urgency and coordination that gave us confidence during one of the most terrifying nights of our lives. Sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts, we lost Miso that night due to severe heart failure. While our hearts are broken, we are deeply grateful to Dr. Mirna Topic and every staff member who cared for Miso and supported us through an unimaginable situation. One thing that stood out was Dr. Topic’s extraordinary compassion and communication. When we were suddenly faced with life-and-death decisions, we were overwhelmed, scared, and struggling to understand a very complex medical situation. Despite how busy she was, Dr. Topic took the time to patiently explain Miso’s condition, the available treatment options, and the pros and cons of each path forward. She used simple, understandable language and made sure we felt informed rather than pressured. That kindness and patience meant more to us than we can adequately express. Every staff member we interacted with was incredibly gentle, compassionate, and thoughtful. It never felt like they were simply treating a patient. They were caring for Miso as an individual and supporting us as a family. I also want to highlight something unique about VEG’s design and philosophy of care. The open-floor treatment area allows you to see exactly what is happening with your pet. You can stay nearby, witness the care they are receiving, and be present during some of their most difficult moments. As heartbreaking as our experience was, there was something deeply comforting about knowing that nothing was happening behind closed doors. We could see how Miso was being treated, what procedures were being performed, and how much compassion the team showed her every step of the way. VEG also provides private comfort rooms where families can spend as much time as they need saying goodbye in a calm, peaceful, and private environment. During one of the hardest moments of our lives, that space gave us the opportunity to properly say goodbye to Miso with dignity and love. They also offer professional aftercare services and guidance, helping families navigate the difficult decisions that come after loss. Another thing we greatly appreciated was their transparency. Before treatments were performed, we received clear estimates and explanations of costs associated with different treatment options. There were no surprises, no pressure, and no hidden fees. In fact, our final bill ended up being noticeably lower than the original estimate and much more reasonable than we expected for emergency and critical care. I sincerely hope we never find ourselves in an emergency like this again. But if we do, I would not hesitate for a second to bring my pet here. I know they would receive the highest level of medical care, compassion, honesty, and respect. To Dr. Mirna Topic and the entire team: thank you for everything you did for Miso. Knowing that she spent her final hours surrounded by people who genuinely cared for her brings us immense comfort. You are truly angels.

Truly amazing experience with this team. They were kind, empathetic, knowledgeable, and quick to address our emergency. I am blown away at the level of not only customer service, but caring VEG offered our family. Truly, thank you.

We are visiting for the week and our dog woke up very lethargic. We knew she needed to be seen by a vet. We searched for a 24/7 vet and came across VEG ER in Costa Mesa. Dr. Kong and her staff are AMAZING! Our little gal was feeling so much better when we went to pick her up. Their facility is great! It’s clean and welcoming. They walk you through everything that they’re going to do and the process is seamless. All her medical updates were sent to our vet back home and we didn’t need to hesitate to return if our little gal displayed any setbacks. I highly recommend VEG ER. We visit often so we now have them on speed dial, literally. Thank you VEG ER. You are amazing!

Let me tell you guys, this place is a blessing. I came out of a double, extremely exhausted, I come home to pet my baby and I feel a bald patch. I was scared, he’s my first pet and as tired as I was I drove all the way to Boston praying it wasn’t anything serious. The staff here (Marcus and Nina, Dr yogo, and Casey) were so amazing. They took such amazing care of my cat, and were so kind and gentle and very understanding. I was so stressed out and I’ve been going through enough ad it is and they took that all off my shoulders. 11/10 place, best decision I’ve made coming here for my baby Future 🤍🤍🤍

I had a really positive experience here with my rabbit. He was seen immediately and treated with lots of care. We were able to get him the appropriate meds, and I felt very relieved post appointment. I didn’t feel judged either (it was our first time ever going to a vet , we weren’t sure what to expect.) Very clean environment.
