Veg was extremely wonderful and so compassionate when my sister had to put her dog down. Dr Daniels was so kind and all the veg techs were so sweet.

It was a bit pricey and it did take awhile, but the staff was amazing. They were very empathetic towards everyone’s concerns and loving towards everyone’s pets as if it was their own. This is my new home base for emergencies for my little fur baby after hours.

Today we took our sweet kitty to VEG ER Rogers Arkansas. The staff at this location are excellent and so caring. They were kind to me and my kids who were with me. They immediately triaged our pet as soon as we walked in the building, they were honest and straightforward and when confident there was nothing more they could do for our pet they let us know and halted any further testing that would add to the vet bill unnecessarily. I'm very thankful for their kindness, professionalism, and compassion. It was not an easy visit for our family as we said our final goodbyes to our best pal. God forbid there is another emergency for any of our other pets... But if there is. We will certainly choose to take them to VEG ER of Rogers. Thanks to all the amazing ladies who helped us today with Cow Kitty.

After our local emergency vet closed, we found VEG during a late-night crisis on Thursday, Jan 29th. Our dog, Buck, had a deep laceration on his thigh. From the moment we called, a human actually answered and checked us in while we were still driving. The triage was seamless—we were moved to a private room immediately for vitals. I really appreciated the 'Openness' and 'Togetherness' they promise on their walls; we never felt left in the dark. While they were honest that Buck wasn't the most critical patient at that moment, the communication was constant. Dr. Pritchett was very thorough and explained the treatment plan clearly. While the cost was higher than expected, the professional environment and care convinced us we were in the right place. The real test came when Buck tore his stitches out that Sunday. When we returned, Dr. Naqvi truly lived up to the value of 'Finding a way to say yes' by working with us on the cost for the second procedure. Both doctors were incredibly compassionate and made a stressful week manageable. They handled everything with his primary vet and ensured his recovery plan was solid. Highly recommend VEG Cedar Park for any pet parent in a crisis.

Best ER vet I’ve ever been to. They treated my dog Annie with such care and compassion that I’ve never experienced anywhere else. Dr. Carlos and his team were exceptional, very communicative and so nice. I wish I got the names of the nurses and assistants to shout them all out but everyone was great. Annie is a happy pup back home after being hospitalized - thanks to the team 🐶 ❤️

Wonderful experience! We brought our Samson in with an ear issue that had gotten to the point we didn't think he'd be able to sleep and likely couldn't get into our primary vet until after the weekend. Dr. Murray, Erin, and the rest of the staff were awesome and saved our weekend trip for us! We also liked the layout of their facility. Thank-you all very much! Nik, Kim, and Samson

The experience we had, at one of the worst nights in our life, at the Viera, FL VEG was exceptional!! At 1:30 in the morning Memorial Day we brought our golden doodle, Scooter in for emergency care. I woke up at 1:30 AM and noticed Scooter was lethargic. I took him out in the yard raining and he just laid down and would not get up. We immediately took him to the Viera, FL VEG. He had a swollen stomach with heavy breathing. The ladies there immediately took him and started testing, including blood work, ultrasound, X-rays, starting IV’s etc. He had a seizure on the table. Needless to say we were a mess. That same day he was swimming and playing like normal with the kids. We were told he had a large tumor on his spleen that had ruptured/sepsis. He was only 7-1/2 years old with no previous major issues. A 60th birthday gift to my wife. Inoperable with 2 to 30 days to live. We made the only decision we could make. They brought us in a candle lit dark room to let us say good bye. They believed he could hear us but the seizure took allot out of him. The doctor came in when we were ready, 2 minutes, could not stand to see him suffering. He received the shoots and our best friend was gone! Nothing so terrible could have been done any better! The doctor and technicians (Jessica & Jessie) were wonderful!! Excellent service in one of the worst times in our life!!

Our little dog’s paw was bleeding a lot. Took her in to VEG ER on Crenshaw without calling first. They immediately triaged her, diagnosed it was a broken nail and with some wait time was met by ER vet who quickly addressed my dog’s medical needs and sent estimate via text. Within minutes I approved procedure and our dog was taken care of in a caring, professional manner. Being a nervous dog mom I wish the staff members would not have talked about personal matters during the procedure but our dog was taken care of properly.

Our puppy swallowed a sock tonight, and the staff took amazing care of him. We were in and out in 30 minutes. Everyone was knowledgeable, efficient, and incredibly sweet. We were able to stay with Rufus the entire time and watch everything, which made a stressful situation so much easier. Highly recommend!

My cat Navi had a ruptured abscess on his ear and had a fever, and we were most definitely in distress. They came to help before we would even get the door open and immediately started to access the issue. The nurses Michelle and Dr Bezdek were so amazing, the way how they handled the situation was amazing. Very fast and efficient. They were very informative and sweet throughout the whole process and were willing to help me with pricing. They took amazing care of my cat and i could tell he loved them as well and he just knew they were helping him. Overall best experience ive ever had at the vet hands down 10/10 would highly recommend for anyone! Thank you so much i am extremely grateful!

Y’all were the biggest lifesaver… literally! Thanks to the amazing care at VEG our Alaskan malamute is alive! From the moment we stepped in to taking her home I have never felt so supported, welcomed, and cared for by a veterinary team. Our 4 year old malamute is normally very intense at vet appointments- the open floor plan, kind approachability of the staff and flexibility for her we could tell made her feel more at ease. The doctors came and sat on the floor with us while we had all her testing done and helped to talk us through a plan for her next steps. We ended up getting her admitted for overnight care & X-rays. Getting a call at 2:30 in the morning that she would need emergency abdominal surgery or it would be fatal was one of the scariest moments, we rushed right on over and got to be with her while they prepped her for surgery. VEG is unique in such a fantastic way, the open floor plan, ability to stay with your pet, phenomenal communication & truly the best vet care I’ve received- should any other future emergencies arise we will not be going anywhere else. I really appreciated the comprehensive medication take home sheet, as well as the extremely detailed itemized bill( - Also I highly recommend looking into pet insurance)

We had an incredible experience with Dr. Rusch and Nurse Scott at Veg Animal er for pets of Flower Mound. Our dog developed a painful hotspot on her face, and we were really worried. Dr. Rusch was so attentive and knowledgeable, and Nurse Scott and the whole staff was incredibly kind and supportive and helped the process tremendously . We just got back tonight, and our pup is already on the mend! We can’t recommend them enough. Thank you for your excellent care!

This staff is absolutely amazing. They are honest and trustworthy. They care way more about our pets than money. I have been there twice. The first time was the night my cat died. She was gone before we got there. Her name was Lily. She was three and no one really knows what happened. They were so sweet and caring and even sent us a card. The second time was for my kitten. And they made sure to handle my heart with care knowing I just lost my baby girl a few weeks ago. They are like family and I would tell everyone to go there if it is needed. Thank you for all you do and how much you truly care.

Unlike any veterinary experience I’ve had! I was so pleased a board certified radiologist did my dogs ‘s ultrasound and the veterinary technicians were fantastic as well doing the x-rays, taking blood samples and giving lots of love. The woman who checked me in at the front desk, couldn’t have been any nicer and so compassionate. Best of all I loved being with my dog through the entire process, right by her side instead of sitting in a lobby, waiting.

The team at VEG ER are amazing. My family had to make the difficult decision of laying our sweet 15 year old Mini Poodle to rest due to advance illness. As heart- wrenching as it was, the team's calm, soothing nature towards me made this process much more bearable. The room was comfortable, clean and thoughtfully laid out. They spoke softly, explaining each step of the process before and during, allowing time to process what's happening. They didn't us rush out, but encouraged us to stay as long as we needed to to grieve our beloved pet. I couldn't have asked for anything more. The service was priced reasonably and the offered memorial options on-site and for order. I'm grateful to have found this location to handle Harry's final arrangements. I'd like to specifically thank staff members: Taylor and Lindsey.

I had a great experience at Veterinary Emergency Group. I was seen within a minute of walking in, which immediately made me feel relieved. The open space lets you see the staff working, and everyone was very professional and kind. Dr. Michaela Fahey was especially helpful and informative. I’ve had stressful vet experiences before, so this felt completely different. Even the cost surprised me. Very affordable for a ER. Really grateful for their urgency, transparency, and care. Absalom and I truly appreciate everyone there.

I was told by my primary vet to take me dog to the ER in Papillion after he was neutered and developed a hematoma that was progressively getting worse. A friend of mine told me that VEG ER (which is much closer) had just opened up so I called them. They asked what was going on with my dog and I explained his situation. They told me that the only thing the ER vet could really do is advise me to ice my dog’s area for 15 minutes at a time until the swelling goes down and continue with the meds my primary vet prescribed. They offered to still take a look at him just to confirm. I brought him in, they assessed him and confirmed their decision and went over my home care instructions. My dog still had a catheter in him and they removed it. They even gave me ice packs to use on him at home. They could’ve charged me for an exam but they did all this free of charge! They told me if things continued to get worse to bring him back in but spared me the exam fee and told me how to manage things at home. I appreciated their honesty, level of care and pure kindness they offered me especially knowing they weren’t charging me anything. I hope I don’t need to, but if I need ER pet services in the future I will absolutely be taking my boys there!

A new concept in vet care. Open concept office. Exceptional care from asst to tech to nurse to vet. A bit pricey but not like VCA. I went in on a Sunday morning at 6:30am so prices should be a premium. And the talent and equipment are upgraded. Great care for my sick kitty. This is now my go to for emergency vet care.

My fiancé and I have a very tiny 10 week old hedgehog that developed a bad upper respiratory infection and they saw her right away and gave her AMAZING care. She was given so much genuine love and attention from Dr. Randi Johnson and all the nurses working her case. Our girl was in a pretty bad state for a while there, but was looking like herself again by the time we left. I cannot recommend VEG in Cary highly enough for a pet in need.

I arrived a couple of weeks ago with my heart and my mom's broken in thousands pieces getting ready for an awful outcome. One of my 4 legged babies was agonizing on my arms, we were a mess barely holding it by God's grace, the team received us and right away started putting things in motion to take care of my Fortu, and comforting us as well , I only have praises for the team at Veg, the nurses and Dr.Kennedy Tool, by the morning next things were so different and everything looked and felt just like a bad dream. I have 6 fur babies and Fortu is the youngest one and just as important as my senior dog, I hope to have kids one day soon so I can tell the story and they can meet my sweet Fortunato my most precious one ❤️ worth his weight in gold. Thank you guys At Veg for doing your best, my sweet mother and I are so grateful 🙏.

Everyone at VEG was amazing. We had a life/death sudden situation with our 5 year old puppy. We had the initial consultation with the vet in minutes and every step over the next 36 hours handed incredibly professionally. You pay for what you get. Some items are more expensive but they’re also there 24/7. Hopefully never need to go back but we will be there if we have any future emergency pet issues that need immediate care. Thank you VEG from us and Kora Fay

I brought my golden doodle in due to his behavior being abnormal and not being able to keep anything down. They immediately took us into a room and began the intake process. They were busy with other surgeries, but we never felt pushed aside or ignored. The tech was super sweet and began doing ordered draws we had discussed prior. Her interaction with my pup was so kind and she was comforting towards my pup. Everything she was doing, was being explained while she was doing it, so there were no questions or concerns. Dr. Crawford and her staff were attentive, friendly, and had a passion to care for the pets. I highly recommend the team for your pet if you need to go to the VEG ER.

The folks at VEG are amazing. They were very knowledgeable and clear in communicating our options in a very tough situation. They let us stay with our dog the entire time he was receiving care, and were quick to give us updates on what was happening when we were away. Our boy would quite literally not be with us today if they did help us with such care.

We brought our cat Roxy in not really knowing what was wrong. Emergency vets can be a little overwhelming but this location had some of the nicest staff I've ever met in the vet field. Dr Johnstone and the staff were incredible. They were quick to get vitals on my cat, listen our concerns and previous medical concerns to try and figure out what was wrong. After some test came back it was determine our cat was in a dire urgent situation due to her diabetes. After Dr Johnstone thoroughly went over treatment options we decided euthanasia would be the most humane option. It's never easy to say goodbye to a pet. I had my furball for over 15 years. The staff was so sincere with the process. Making sure we had a private room, had time to say our goodbyes and just over all very professional. I was happy to hear they offer paw and nose prints free of charge and a patch of fur. My Roxy will be cremated and returned back within a week or so. I just want to thank the entire staff again for their professionalism and sincerity in this tough choice. They never once made me feel what I chose was the bad route. They all listened to stories about our cat and all praised how even with her being sick they could she was loved and how she snuggled up to my shoulder while being examined. This was simply the best experience I could have asked for under these circumstances.

We had to say goodbye to our beloved Cuban knight anole, Ozzy, and I truly cannot thank the team at VEG ER in East Liberty enough for how they handled one of the hardest days of our lives. From the moment we walked in, they brought us back right away and treated Ozzy with so much care, gentleness, and respect. They were incredibly kind to both me and my husband, offering comfort, patience, and even hugs when we needed them most. They explained the entire euthanasia process step by step, making sure we understood everything and never once rushing us through the process. They gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye, which meant more than I can put into words. When we returned to pick him up, they gave us beautiful ink prints, a heartfelt card signed by multiple staff members, and they even saved us pieces of his last shed. Those small gestures meant everything to us. I especially want to thank every single staff member at VEG ER that took care of us. Losing a pet is devastating, but VEG ER made an unbearable experience just a little more bearable. I will forever and always be grateful for the compassion and dignity they showed Ozzy and our family.

I'd definitely recommend them. My husky does do well at vets, so they allow you to stay with your fur baby the entire time, they have an open layout where staff comes to you so you aren’t stuck in a room. They were extremely gentle with him and me… and I know we both felt more relaxed!! You can tell they love their job and are dedicated to taking care of your pet.

The long awaited review! My star team! ⭐️Dr. Klipin ⭐️Yoshi ⭐️Nayeli ⭐️Rene ⭐️Brandi ⭐️Dr. Kuscevic ⭐️Diana This team is AMAZING! I don’t even know where to start. I came in on Saturday 06/06 at 9:30pm for an endoscopy on my son, Luther (doberman) who swallowed a small tennis ball. The team got to work very quickly starting him on Apromorphine. First dose didn’t work, YAY let’s give another dose to my hard headed boy!… still nothing. Fantastic! Let’s do an x-ray. “Mom, you’re gonna want to come see this” The team finds not 1, but 2 balls. Endoscopy time! I got a front row seat to watch the whole procedure which was very entertaining I might add. We end up finding out that this not so little man was putting together what Dr. Klipin very accurately referred to as a ‘treasure chest’. He had devoured 1 pair of my underwear, 3 tennis balls, a couple of pieces of cardboard and a heck of a lot of grass. Every pull was a celebration! 🎉 Unfortunately not everything got to be pulled out since it was located in some very hard to reach crevices in his stomach. We’ve reached the 2hr window… time to consider surgery. This is where I start getting emotional. Yoshi was very personable and starts to reassure me that everything will be fine; that this isn’t the first case they see like this and most definitely won’t be the last. He was by my side every step of the way and for that I appreciate him. We proceed with surgery. It’s 4am by this time and I have to work at 8:30am🤮 so I go home to take a nap. I come to see Luther during my lunch break and was absolutely delighted to see that Diana was sitting on the floor, taking care of Luther. She didn’t recognize Luther or I at first but she was one of the previous nurses at the Banfield Coral Gables location that quite literally watched Luther grow up from 3 months old to the wonderful boy he is now. I was SO excited to see her. I came back later in the day to pick him up and got told by Dr. Kuscevic that he was recovering with flying colors. YAY! On my way out to the car, I ran into Yoshi coming in for his shift. He could not believe that Luther had recovered so well and was so so excited for him to go home. I apologize for the long story time. Overall I just wanted to express my gratitude to everyone who helped me through this process. Nayeli, the vet technician who monitored his anesthesia and all of Luthers needs during his procedures. Rene, for getting a killer finger and hand workout when she was gifted the title of “the grabber” during his endoscopy (I hope you’re ok girl…because OUCH). Apologies to anyone whose name I left out! Here are a couple of pics of my menacing boy recovering maybe a little too well. He swears this whole ordeal was a figment of my imagination because he is completely unfazed.

Our sweet Stella had to go to VEG ER Frisco on June 6th around 4am. She had given birth to (6) pups at home, but the (7) pup had not been birth after (3) hours. During the process of her giving birth, I called their office to ask a few question (first timer here) and Dr. Koons was very informative through what to expect. After making the right call, the (7) baby could not make it into this world at home and we headed to see Dr. Koons in person. She had the room all ready for us when we arrived. When I say her and all other staff went above and beyond for us is an understatement. Dr. Koons is a genuine soul that puts care and detail into all she does. We knew Stella was at least pregnant with 10 pups. After the 10th was born at the ER (past Dr. Koons shift), she went back for an x-ray, surprise, we had two more!! Y’all!! Twelve puppies!! Thank you, Kaitlyn, Arianna, Abby, Beth, Dr. Koons and Dr. Nelson for the outstanding service and care of our family/pups. Everything was performed right in front of us and that was important not to be shut in a room while our Stella was behind closed doors in another room. Since birth, I have called back serval times when our regular vets office was closed. Outstanding service each time. My heart cannot express our gratitude enough!! Sincerely - Stella & Family paws up - high five 🐾♥️🙌👏

My pet cat was quite ill. We were seen quickly and all the staff members were wonderful. They seemed to be working together well. We were seen quickly, my cat was assessed and treated quickly and appropriately. We were able to go home in a couple hours with a diagnosis and treatment that worked well. My cat was less than impressed with the temperature taking and suprapubic urine draw. My husband and I, human health care providers, were very pleased with the care. I let him sit on the deck with supervision the next day. We were surprised by the open concept treatment area. We saw so many sweet animals and we were praying for all of them. If we ever need ER vet care again, we are driving straight to VEG.

To be honest, I wouldnt take Meaner anywhere else! From the moment i walked in the door i was greated and made to feel like Meaner was top priority. Even through my bubbling tears i felt very cared for and understood. The compassion those ladies had was more than i could have imagined. I have never been felt so cared for in the history of 53 years of life. I was happy to see how each one of them seemed to naturally love their job and they got along so well! The compassion they give to every animal was like they were their own pet. VEG HAS SET A STANDARD AND THE BAR IS SET HI FOLKS TOP NOTCH IS ALL I CAN SAY!! THANK YOU VEG!

When our dog suddenly developed vomiting, diarrhea, and uncontrollable trembling, we knew we needed help fast. We brought her to VEG ER for Pets in South Asheville, and the care we received was exceptional from the moment we walked through the door. We were greeted by Dr. Bentley, who was immediately compassionate, reassuring, and attentive. The team had literally just finished a surgery, yet they seamlessly pivoted to caring for our dog. Over the next ninety minutes they performed a thorough examination and bloodwork, helping us rule out many of the more serious possibilities. While we didn't leave with a definitive answer for what caused her illness, we left knowing what it wasn't, and that knowledge brought tremendous peace of mind. One of the things that impressed me most about VEG was their approach to patient and family care. I never had to leave my dog's side. Their facility is designed so pet owners can remain in the treatment area with their pets whenever possible. Being able to comfort and reassure my dog throughout the process made a world of difference, especially since she is not a fan of veterinary visits. Every member of the team took time to connect with both my dog and me. Even though the hospital was busy, they never made us feel rushed or overlooked. They carefully explained every step of the process, discussed treatment options, reviewed costs before moving forward, and made sure I understood exactly what was happening. There were no surprises, no pressure, and no sticker shock, just honest, transparent communication. I was also impressed that they perform their laboratory testing in-house. We had bloodwork results back quickly, which helped move the diagnostic process along efficiently. They also ensured that all records and findings were sent directly to our primary veterinarian for follow-up care. The entire team at VEG South Asheville is top-notch. Their professionalism, compassion, communication, and commitment to both pets and their people are second to none. If I ever need emergency veterinary care again, they will be my first call. And most importantly, my girl is doing very well this morning and resting comfortably at home. Thank you, Dr. Bentley and the entire VEG team, for taking such wonderful care of her and of us.

We came into VEG today after our 10 month old puppy had a bad run in with a stick. They were dedicated to doing everything they could to figure out what was going on and how to help him, even though it wasn’t super obvious and was a little tricky at times. They were SO helpful and got him taken care of. Literally the best care I could’ve ever asked for. They helped lighten the mood too and calm my fears. Our puppy ADORED them and we are so so so very grateful for their kindness and help to get him on the road to recovering. We were able to stay with our puppy the entire time and I cannot say enough good things. Special shout out to Darbilynn, Alysa, & Dr. Delgado for being amazing. Murphy was loving on them so much as they helped him. They explained his aftercare so thoroughly and answered all of our (many) questions without making us feel like a bother at all!! Seriously such an amazing group and I’ll recommend them for forever!

I had one of the scariest nights of my life when I came home and found my dog, Rocky, with a large open gash on his chest. I was panicked and didn’t know what to do, but from the moment I walked into VEG ER for Pets, the staff took over with such calmness, compassion, and professionalism. Dr. Michala Frederic was absolutely amazing. She was kind, reassuring, and took the time to explain everything clearly while moving quickly to care for Rocky. The entire team made such a terrifying situation feel manageable, and I truly felt like my dog was in the best hands. You can tell they genuinely care—not just about the animals, but about the families who love them. Thanks to Dr. Frederic and her team, Rocky is doing so much better, and I am beyond grateful. They truly saved my sweet baby boy. I will never forget how they treated us that night. Highly recommend VEG ER for Pets to anyone who wants their pets in loving, capable hands.

Sarahy was an amazing nurse while caring for Royce, always making sure he was comfortable and okay while gathering all the necessary information and triaging every detail. She even helped me cut the pills in half, which I truly appreciated; her care was truly 10/10. Dr. Wilson was also very gentle and comforting, helping Royce feel safe throughout the visit while taking the time to explain everything and answer all of my questions. They are truly amazing people who genuinely care about helping our fur babies. Both were very knowledgeable and made me feel completely at ease. I also want to thank Gabriel, who helped me over the phone and provided great guidance and key points. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely return if any emergency comes up. I highly recommend this place for your babies.

I cannot thank everyone at VEG enough over the past 2 days. On Sunday morning, I had to take my dog there that ended up having a blockage in his intestines after getting into one of our cabinets while I was away. Although the wait was a bit longer than usual with it being Memorial Day weekend, they made sure both my dog Jordan and I were comfortable while we waited. Once we met with a doctor, they made sure to do an in depth examination while keeping him calm and near me which helped. They went over the treatment plan and payment plan options with me and made sure to answer the multitude of questions I had for them without making me feel like I was being annoying or wasting their time as they were extremely busy. I ended up having to keep my dog there, but they allowed me to come get him at 1:00am as I had wished once his treatments were done instead of making me keep him there overnight. Since unfortunately we could not get his obstruction to move, I did end up taking him back the next day. As soon as we arrived, multiple staff members greeted my dog Jordan by name and were very attentive right away when they saw us again which I greatly appreciated and was impressed with. They brought him a giant soft bed for him to rest on during the check in process. We were about to move forward with surgery, but the new doctor on shift wanted to double check imaging again to make sure it was necessary even when I told them to go ahead and do whatever they needed to just to get this out of my dogs system. I agreed to the plan or reimaging and am glad I did! We ended up getting the blockage to move, and with the medication provided we ultimately got it out of his system without surgical intervention (which we originally thought was necessary). I appreciate them saving me a ton of money instead of just moving forward with surgery right away! He is now resting at home. Shout out to Dr. Prada, Dr. Bugg, the very kind nurses/assistants (apologies that I cannot remember everyone’s name) and even the security guard for helping us! We LOVE you all!

This was my 3rd visit to VEG (all different pets). I will not go anywhere else, despite having used all of the 24hr Animal ERs in my area over the years. There is no comparison. This time my 3-month old kitten ventured too close to my dog and as she was escaping, he bit off the end of her tail, leaving the bone exposed. The awesome techs and doctors at VEG are so kind and very experienced. I was there about 3 hours, while my kitten was sedated, an IV put in, more anesthesia, then intubated. Then surgery to remove the part of her damaged tail and suture the tiny stump. I was able to watch the entire procedure (my choice). I know what you're thinking...how much? Their pricing is fair. Not the cheapest and not the most expensive. I keep a savings just for these emergencies, as I have many pets and you never know. I'm grateful to them. They really care.

My Frenchie, Romeo, developed a sudden, severe ear infection overnight. While we were walking, he began screaming in pain and shaking his head uncontrollably. Being in Kingman, AZ, on a Saturday night with no vets open was heartbreaking and terrifying; I felt completely powerless watching him suffer through a night of whining and crying. As a truck driver, I was incredibly relieved to find this 24/7 hospital along my route in Henderson, NV, on Sunday morning. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredible. Dr. Lorenza Malaguti is truly amazing, she is skilled, caring, and showed so much love towards Romeo. The nurses were equally attentive and clearly passionate about their patients. Unfortunately I forgot the name of the nurses helping Romeo. It is now Monday night, and Romeo is already back to his happy self running, jumping, and pain-free! He’s even back to doing what he loves most: destroying cardboard boxes! I am beyond grateful for the service here. I didn’t mind the wait at all; I saw other owners coming in with even more serious emergencies and was happy to wait while they were helped (that definitely tells you that the staff prioritizes emergencies correctly, which is a sign of a well-run hospital). They took amazing care of my baby, and that is what matters most. Also, a quick tip for other Frenchie owners: These dogs require specific care and the bills can add up fast. I’m so glad I have pet insurance and highly recommend it to others!

I cannot say enough amazing things about the team at VEG in Larkspur. At 3am, after calling multiple emergency vets throughout San Francisco and the greater Bay Area and being told there were no surgeons available, VEG stepped in and saved my dog’s life. Finn was in an extremely scary situation, and from the second we walked through the doors, the entire team treated him like their own. Dr. Donner and her surgical team were incredible — calm, confident, compassionate, and transparent through every step of an emergency surgery. After surgery, Dr. Walker and her team provided outstanding post-op care and monitoring. They kept me constantly updated, answered every question with patience and empathy, and made one of the most stressful nights of my life feel manageable. You can truly tell that every single person there deeply cares about both the animals and the families attached to them. Thank you, Dr. Donner, Dr. Walker, and the entire VEG staff for everything you did for Finn. We will never forget it.
