The amazing team at VEG saved my best friend and I will forever be indebted to them (both literally and figuratively 😅). I called in a panic that my 12year old pitbull may have bloat, and staff on the phone suspected the same, so we sped right over. Within minutes of arrival, the vet techs had done scans to confirm her stomach was indeed twisting and she needed surgery immediately. It was all-hands-on-deck to swiftly get her catheterization lines placed and release gas from her abdomen to give her some relief while the operating suite was being turned over from another surgery. I was allowed to stay with my baby as they prepped her, which was unexpected and deeply appreciated (despite how upsetting it is to see your baby go limp with sedatives and get intubated). They recognized a possible adverse reaction to the sedative within minutes and quickly reacted to address it. They kept me appraised of every step they'd be taking, then gave updates throughout the surgery. By some miracle, (really by the magic of the talented VMDs there), my old lady not only survived a major complication, (total splenectomy), but also came through surgery and recovered swiftly. I was even allowed to stay with her post-op in her kennel, which was another unexpected and happy surprise to me. I went from thinking it was time to say goodbye to my beloved old girl, to bringing her home less than 24hours later. I write this review 1-week post-op, with my old lady happily snoring next to me, and am certain this wouldn't be the case if not for how well-trained and impressive VEG staff is. Every extra moment with this girl is priceless, and VEG gave me time I didnt think I'd be getting as soon as I knew her diagnosis at this age. THANK YOU VEG!!

We came to VEG pet hospital and it was amazing! Not only did we get seen right away but they were so fast, kind and unbelievably fantastic. This clinic took less than 2 hours to get the exam and X-rays. They made sure the dog was comfortable the whole time and communicated with us about everything. I was very pleased with this place after the nightmare I had to deal with. After 9+ hours and a long night at a terrible pet clinic, who ended up not helping us at all, VEG did everything and more! I would come here for any pet emergencies now. Totally worth the drive.

I want to sincerely thank the entire team for the wonderful care they provided to my dog, Kira. From the moment we arrived, everyone was kind, professional, compassionate, and attentive. The staff took the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly examine Kira, and explain everything clearly. They made both of us feel comfortable during a stressful time, and I truly appreciated their patience and caring attitude. It is clear that this team genuinely loves animals and is dedicated to providing excellent care. Thank you for treating Kira with such kindness and helping her feel better. I highly recommend the staff at this VEG EG after the care they provided my dog, Brady, following an injury he suffered. What started off as a straightforward need for stitches quickly became more serious when Brady experienced several episodes of ventricular tachycardia (vtach) related to a reaction to medications and potentially an underlying heart problem. It was incredibly scary, but the staff responded quickly and professionally, communicated clearly, and did everything they could to keep both Brady and me comfortable throughout the experience. The staff I worked with demonstrated compassion and integrity. I also really appreciated the thoughtful accommodations for pet owners. From comfortable spaces to stay with your pet, to snacks, drinks, and other small touches, it was clear to me that VEG understood emergencies are hard on people, too. Those kinds of details honestly made a meaningful difference during a really stressful evening. When I left Brady overnight for monitoring, I felt a bit nervous (as any owner likely would) but I mostly felt grateful that he was alive and in good hands. The next morning, I received a timely update (as promised), clear discharge instructions, and Brady has since made an excellent recovery! See pictures of him right after surgery vs. today. I cannot recommend VEG ER more if your pet needs urgent care. I know I sound like an ad, but the environment and level of care they provided to both my dog and me from start to finish was truly set apart from any other vet I've used. And I've had some wonderful vets over the years, so I don't say that lightly. :)

I am so incredibly grateful to the care team here for saving my 5 year old cat’s life by performing an emergency laparotomy on him after he ingested a linear foreign body. The staff is very competent, communicative, and personable. Special thank you to the surgeon, Dr. Laura Hauser. She is absolutely amazing!!! I just want to say thank you so much for all the help you had given us for me and my Family. Our little dog has been around for 15 human years and was very ill and was at end of life. You were there for support and helped us with the process. God bless

WOW. I cannot say enough great things about this hospital. We were 6 hours away from home when our girl got bit by another dog at a campground. We expected to spend basically the entire night sitting in a waiting room, but we have never been to a VEG hospital… From the moment we walked in, they greeted us at the door and we never had to leave our dog’s side through the whole process. The clinic was SO CLEAN and the staff were absolutely elite. They were friendly, knowledgeable and so patient with us and gentle with our girl. The vet quite literally sat next to us and wrote up a care plan explaining every single step and was so upfront about cost and recovery. We are so grateful for their incredible compassion and top-notch care they gave her. Easily the best experience we have ever had at an ER Vet. We were in and out in less than 3 hours. Huge shoutout to Dr. Forton, Emile, Yorrick & Jenn - you guys are absolute rockstars and turned what could have been a nightmare ordeal into a positive experience. And yes, we will be seeking out other VEGgies 😆 back home in WI.

VEG saw my French bulldog for a heat related injury. As soon as we walked in the door we were met with prompt attention to our girl. She was on a treatment immediately despite the fact she was in fairly stable condition. The entire staff was so welcoming, loving and empathetic. Dr. Eisemenn met with us instantly and began the exam right away. Dr. Eisemenn and his team were excellent! Yes, emergency visits are expensive and we were provided an estimate without asking. We really appreciated the upfront transparency. Happy to say our girl is feeling as best as she can and she is recovering nicely at home. We are really grateful to the VEG team because this could have been a worse situation. Thank you!

Early in the morning at 5:03 AM on July 17, 2026, my dog Ryan got bit by a Mojave green while we were running around in the desert. The VEG for pets Veterinarian group came through in a very tight spot. Ryan is at home now resting and recovering because of the great work this Veterinarian Hospital had initiated.

I am so, so thankful VEG opened here. We brought in our dog Sophie after she had quite a large, open laceration on her leg. She is a very anxious dog at the vet but everyone (and I mean everyone!) at VEG tried to make her feel welcome and comfortable. They knew exactly how to approach my dog and get her trust within minutes. I especially loved that we could be with Sophie the whole time-- this meant we could tell the doctors, nurses, and techs all the little things to help make Sophie's visit smoother and it worked so well. I don't think Sophie's injury was the easiest one to close but I felt like Dr Rivera-Ramirez and Dr Pham did an excellent job given the circumstances and risks of a high movement area. There was so much care and expertise in their work. Overall, taking my dog to VEG was the best decision we could have made for her. Even though I wish my dog was not injured, they did everything to help her heal and make her feel comfortable. We'll be back if needed and I'm really just so thankful for the team here. You all are the best and made a very stressful night so much more manageable ❤️

If you ever have a pet emergency this is the place to go. My cat Hiccup needed to be seen not once but twice this week and both times the staff was kind, caring and attentive. I was able to be with my pet through every test and exam, able to be involved and keep my cat calm and comfortable throughout it all. Dr Armstrong and her staff Ella, Edwardo, Jocelyn and Sarah M are only some of the staff I dealt with and I cannot sing their praise high enough.

Our experience with VEG ER for Pets was exceptional from start and sadly to finish. The entire team demonstrated outstanding professionalism, compassion, and expertise during a very emotionally stressful situation. The most compassionate and professional Emergency Vet I have ever encountered. Our Corgi Biscuit hurt his paw playing outside, and Dr. Smallcomb and her entire staff showed such care to get him taken care of. Even when putting him for sedation, they put him in a lovely room with the blinds drawn and gentle music playing to make him comfortable. Just absolutely extraordinary.. thank you so much to all of you!

Cannot rate this place high enough. It is expensive but the compassion of all the nurses is truly incredible. I had to carry in my 100 pound plus dog Peter and they got to him right away. Immediately making him and us feel comfortable. We were able to stay with him the whole time even when they were doing testing. He was hospitalized overnight and we could sit with him in or next to the kennel as long as we wanted. They even baked cookies while we were there and handed them out to everyone. I’m glad to report that Peter feels much better and I wish I could make this place our main vet. They are wonderful

Dr Campbell and the vet tech Dre were wonderful in their treatment of my lab Irving’s ingested marijuana. They immediately gave him an injection of an anti nausea med, one liter fluids and did blood tests to be sure organs were ok. I recommend them highly! .

VEG is amazing! The staff, the facilities and the care are phenomenal. You are met with compassion and genuine care for you and your pet. Humans should be treated this well by their physicians! Everything is explained, you are made to feel important and seen. The care and attention is exceptional. There was not one staff member that didn’t appear to have a positive attitude or genuine respect for the patients and their family. I was lucky to walk away with treatment and good news. I witnessed someone get not so good news- the care that the human and pet got was not only compassionate, it was beyond the call of duty. Exceptional Service in all aspects.

I recently moved to Texas and when my dog, Lucy was experiencing difficulty breathing, I had to find an emergency vet quickly. VEG ER had excellent reviews and is close to home so I chose them. I couldn't be happier with my choice. As soon as I walked in, someone greeted us and when they saw she was having trouble breathing, they immediately took action. The entire staff and Dr. Koons were wonderful. They made sure both of us were comfortable and kept me informed about her treatment. Being able to stay with Lucy the entire time made her calmer in a strange environment. I have been to many emergency vets with my dogs over the years but this one is, by far, the best I've ever been to. There were a few other families with sick pets there and each one was treated with care and respect. If you have an emergency with your pet, you could not find a better hospital than VEG ER.

I walked into VEG ER with my english bulldog practically dead in my arms in a panic. The team here treated my dog (kobe) within seconds on my arrival. The love we felt throughout this entire 24 hours can’t be put into words. From the doctors to the nurses and the entire staff … they treated kobe like he was their very own. Dr Tusa took time to calm us down and explain to us exactly what was happening medically and made it understandable to us!! Eternally grateful that he was there when we came in. Wow! We are currently fostering to adopt a 9 week old puppy and she started throwing up and having diarrhea today. We were referred to Blue Pearl who ended up being full and actually referred to another place that was also full. The second place referred us here and I am so thankful. This place was amazing. The staff was excellent. Super friendly, they all really loved their jobs and caring for all of the animals that came in. Special shoutout to C who was our intake tech in the isolation unit. She was vibrant, fun, so great with our puppy and just kicked off the whole experience on a positive note. Our Doctor, Dr. Morgan was also really exceptional. Very kind. Throughly walked us through what might be going on and what steps would be taken. Do not get me wrong, this was an emergency vet, we spent about 3.5 hours here, but we were constantly asked if we wanted any water, coffee or anything. That was really thoughtful of them. This will be our 1st stop moving forward in case an emergency comes up again with our babies. I can’t say enough positive things.

The veg team did an exceptional job! Every time we’ve come here, the service is always over the top! They are all very caring and attentive to not only the dogs needs, but also our needs as well! CEC Zara was very welcoming, nurse Dina was very attentive, and Dr. Conn was very empathetic very good at listening to our concerns at a time where we were nervous and scared. She offered wonderful solutions and she worked with us to help our dog get better! We had to go in two days in a row first time being our dog was in pain and very anxious and Uneasy. He was not wanting to eat and was getting dehydrated by the day. The second time we went in, Dr. Cohen helped us and she also did an Uneasy. We are super appreciative to you all! 🙏🏻 something else I love about veg is that they don’t take your pet out of sight. You’re able to see them pretty much at all times while they’re caring for them. If your Pet is experiencing an emergency, I would definitely not even think twice and bring them here to veg for any of their emergency needs!
