My Pomeranian was bitten by a larger dog. We were immediately admitted, she was checked. Her wound was treated. They were very gentle with her (she can be bit of a diva) and she was her usual self the next day. Dr Jonathan is very thorough. And every staff member is hugely helpful

I want to give a huge thanks to Dr. Manning, Dr. Riddick, and every staff member who helped when my cat’s health took a sharp turn. I brought my 10 month old kitten to VEG last week when he got sick and our regular vet couldn’t see him, and I’m so so thankful for the compassion and care from everybody who works there. I was able to bring him back within 24 hours for no extra exam fee where the staff determined that he should stay overnight for treatment. They talked me through what procedures they would be doing and presented different payment options as well. I was also allowed to either stay with him overnight or come and visit whenever. They helped me get life-saving medicine through Chewy, and overall I was just so grateful for our experience. The overnight staff even made a cute little name tag for my cat, and made sure he was comfortable through what was surely his scariest experience in life. I’m sitting here now watching him be his crazy self again, when just a week ago he wouldn’t even lift his head to look at me. Thank you VEG for everything!!!

I can’t thank my veterinarian in Princeton enough for saving my dog’s life! When he experienced a twisted stomach, the team acted quickly and efficiently, and I was amazed to see him walking out the very next day. A special shoutout to the incredible crew working from 5 PM to midnight for their outstanding care and support. You truly made a difference! Highly recommend! 🐾❤️ Thank You form Wesley and his family.

Early in the morning at 5:03 AM on July 17, 2026, my dog Ryan got bit by a Mojave green while we were running around in the desert. The VEG for pets Veterinarian group came through in a very tight spot. Ryan is at home now resting and recovering because of the great work this Veterinarian Hospital had initiated.

I am very pleased with my visit here ☺️. My cat, Bobo, wasn’t eating or drinking. She felt very weak for two days. I had decided this wasn’t like her at all. So I rushed over here. the staff is incredibly kind and helpful❤️ they have a tough job. I found out Bobo had a high fever and tapeworms. though the bill wasn’t nice, I don’t blame anyone for it. An emergency vet comes with its costs. Immediately two days after visiting, Bobo was jumping on tables, using the litter, meowing. Just being herself again…☺️I was so happy!!! My cat was back to normal. no sickness, no fever, and she had medicine for her tapeworms. I definitely recommend you all to come here. just be patient with the staff. they’ve seen a lot, and they surely don’t make the prices. ❤️ so do not blame the staff for the enormous bills. what I did was I stated my budget and they were considerate of it. Below, I attached a before and after photo of Bobo😻visiting this location! (She had stayed in that box the entire day with no movement) no playing, eating, or anything. But after ! She was able to go up and down the stairs and play with her siblings 💕

After noticing our sweet boy was holding his neck down we took him to our local vet, we were given the run around on treatment options & were eventually told we needed a $5,000 MRI done at another clinic so that they can figure it out. We were keeping him medicated until we could get him into physical therapy because we were under the impression of a pinched nerve or disc issue & our local vet wouldn’t help us any longer. Fast forward two weeks later his health was declining. We made the decision to bring him into VEG, immediately we welcomed with the most compassionate and caring staff. Dr. Smith & Jacy came over to look at our boy & said she wanted to check for cancer. Many people brought their animals in the hours that we were there & the attention to Kane, my husband & I never slacked a bit. After some x-rays, it was confirmed that’s exactly what it was & unfortunately we had to make the decision to euthanize our boy. Jacy moved us into a private room to say our goodbyes, & share thoughtful words. Dr. Smith was extremely thorough and patient with us & our questions. I cannot thank them enough for the level of care ourselves & Kane received that night. Picture tax of our sweet boy. ❤️

My pet cat was quite ill. We were seen quickly and all the staff members were wonderful. They seemed to be working together well. We were seen quickly, my cat was assessed and treated quickly and appropriately. We were able to go home in a couple hours with a diagnosis and treatment that worked well. My cat was less than impressed with the temperature taking and suprapubic urine draw. My husband and I, human health care providers, were very pleased with the care. I let him sit on the deck with supervision the next day. We were surprised by the open concept treatment area. We saw so many sweet animals and we were praying for all of them. If we ever need ER vet care again, we are driving straight to VEG.

The whole team was amazing. They saved my frenchie Lola on the spot from respiratory failure. Lola was cared with excellent skills, love and lots of care. Her nurses Alex and Clencly were by her all the steps of her life threatening episodes, saving her twice from respiratory colapse. Her amazing Dr. Lopez was great walking me through all the intense life threatening episodes and ensuring she had her meds, tests and constant care around the clock. In the middle of an awful ER day, I felt in the best hands, and truly cared by all the staff and most importantly her immediate team. Best ER in the city! 💓🐶

Our almost 12 year old yorkie had a severe anaphylactic reaction to a vaccine. My husband is a pediatric ICU physician, my daughter is a neonatal RN, and I’m a retired PICU RN. We also co-own a private practice, pediatric urgent care not far from Veg ER. As health care professionals and small business owners, we could not have been more pleased with the way our little Leia and our family were treated. Every member of your practice was so kind and caring- informing and involving us in every step of her care. The snack and beverage station, private family rooms with a pull out bed, pillows, sheets and blankets, were next level care. Thank you for making a very scary and stressful situation as comfortable as possible for all of us. We hope to never need an emergency pet ER again, but if we do, we know exactly where to go.

After two days of hospitalization at his primary vet, my dog was transferred to VEG for weekend/overnight hospitalization. Him and I spent 42 hours in "Hotel VEG". While this was truly a terrifying and emotional situation, VEG made our experience comfortable, peaceful and even pleasant (under the circumstances). He had four total doctors during his long stay and they were all great. However, he was under Dr. Benjamin Rogers' care the majority of the time and Dr. Rogers was truly wonderful! He handled all of my emotions/concerns/questions in such a gentle and caring way, while still being honest about the severity of the situation. Each of the nurses he had were also very caring and attentive to both him and myself. Sadly, I do not recall the name of one nurse in particular (hopefully VEG can look him up in the records to ensure he is aware of this review), but he was so caring and loving towards my dog. My dog was unable to stand/walk upon arrival at VEG, and this particular nurse and I were outside at 2 AM when he was finally able to walk and the nurse was literally cheering his milestones, encouraging him to walk every single step and just about as excited as I was to see his progress. I felt like my dog and I were both cared about during our entire stay. While I hope that I never need VEG’s services again, I would not hesitate to return, if necessary. I truly believe that set up that allows you to stay with your pet the entire time was very healing for my dog and allowed him to focus on getting better, without the stress of wondering why he was alone in cage during such a scary time for him. I called several hours before the transfer so that they knew he was coming and was provided an electronic intake form so that they had all of his information beforehand. I called again a few minutes before my arrival and was met in the parking lot with a gurney to get him inside. A doctor immediately began examining him and taking his extensive history from me. We were quickly set up in a private room with a bed for him and I to share. We were consistently checked on throughout his treatment and I was always told what they were doing and why they were doing every single thing they did for him.

I am forever grateful to the entire team at VEG for the compassion, kindness, and exceptional care they showed our beloved kitty, Bella. We first came to VEG because Bella wasn't doing well, and our veterinarian suspected there might be something wrong with her spleen. Dr. Gabriela Reyes was the attending veterinarian that day. From the moment we met her, she was incredibly kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain what she believed Bella might be facing and treated Bella with such genuine care. An ultrasound was performed, and we returned home hoping for the best while waiting for the results. Later that same night, Bella suddenly began gasping for air and could no longer move. We rushed her back to VEG immediately. By then, the ultrasound report had come back and confirmed our worst fear: Bella had a very aggressive cancerous tumor in her spleen, and surgery was no longer an option. As heartbreaking as it was, our family made the difficult decision to let Bella go peacefully so she would no longer suffer. Dr. Gabriela Reyes showed us extraordinary compassion during one of the hardest moments of our lives. She gave us the time we needed, answered our questions with honesty and empathy, and helped make an impossible decision just a little more bearable. I will never forget her kindness. The entire VEG staff was equally amazing. Every person we encountered treated Bella—and our family—with such dignity, warmth, and respect. They made an incredibly painful experience as peaceful and comforting as it could possibly be. While we wish the outcome had been different, I am deeply thankful that we found VEG. Thank you for caring for Bella with such love and for helping our family say goodbye with compassion. Bella will always be in our hearts, and we will never forget the kindness your entire team showed us during her final moments.

VEG saved my baby’s life!! I’ve been to VEG on two occasions. Each time the staff was friendly, skilled, and transparent. The most recent visit my cat was in a crisis state due to her organs being out of place. We watched as they literally revived her and stabilized her on oxygen to allow us to drive her to Access Palm Beach hospital that performed the surgery. They communicated everything with Access and their staff was waiting as we rushed her in. She made a full recovery and is back to her usual self thanks to them! Even if the outcome was not as great, my rating would not change. Medicine is often a game of chance but when it comes to the skills, they went above and beyond and we're so grateful! The other visit was for a simple ear infection for my dog that happened on a holiday weekend. I didn’t want her waiting for days in pain to see her primary vet so I took her to VEG and they treated it well and it was just as great of an experience, just with a little less drama ;)

This is by far the best emergency vet I’ve ever been to. The staff (especially Taylor and Kristen) were kind, caring, and took great care of my baby! She was hospitalized overnight and I got to stay with her in a private room which made the whole experience so much less stressful for her.

I wish this animal emergency was open before my other dog passed away. You are able to stay with your pet throughout much of the time. Everything is open and transparent and the staff is very empathetic towards all concerns. All questions answered. The prices are not on the low end but I do not believe i was overcharged, as this is a 24 hour emergency hospital. What a great peace of mind to know there is this kind of care day or night for our animals. Everything is comfortable and yiu can stay with your pet the whole time! Tbe restroom is very clean! Hopefully it stays like that! They have snacks and beverages for the humans. We never want to have to have these visits but just know they are there for our animal babies! Five stars all the way!!

Lots of emotions this weekend, we basically spent Friday to Sunday onsite. Having said that, our experience was once again phenomenal. We just can’t say enough nice things about the staff and the quality of care at VEG. It’s not our first rodeo there. They saved our Iggy for now. She means the world to us, and it seems she grew on a few on the team there.

My dog ingested something at home and became extremely ill. Our usual veterinarian was unable to see her promptly and advised us to seek emergency care. The staff at the facility were exceptionally kind, friendly, and supportive throughout the process. I was impressed with the quality of care provided, which I believe exceeded expectations often associated with human emergency rooms. They were transparent and upfront about the costs, which were surprisingly affordable. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of emergency veterinary services.

Everyone was extremely welcoming and empathetic. The professional and calming environment was very comforting in an otherwise stressful and upsetting situation. —My cat had eaten the foil strip from a self seal envelope and my vet recommended that we go to an ER due to the seriousness. When I got there, the building’s exterior was new and clean. I was immediately greeted by a kind staff member and doctor and invited to a private room. They quickly but thoroughly ascertained the situation and medical history and developed a plan. Unfortunately the first step didn’t produce the optimal results but subsequent treatment options were offered all the while with clear explanations and information. They were very patient while I considered the choices and costs and we ultimately chose the next least invasive approach which was successful. They offered me the choice to be involved and observing the treatment the whole time, which made me more confident of their abilities. I saw several patients coming and going, all of whom were treated with kindness and a personal touch. Should I ever need emergency care again, I will definitely return to the Pikesville VEG ER! Thank you so much Dr. Brough, assistants Jessie and Caitlin, and the procedure team Fabian, Katelyn and Megan!!

Our dog needed care for an infected, newly discovered wound late Saturday night. We were greeted by kind staff who directed us to an open bay with a comfortable place for me to sit and a dog bed for my pet. I wasn’t used to the open vet setting where we could hear most conversations with owners there and see most interactions. But it was comforting to know other worried pets & parents were treated so well. I was informed of everything about my dog’s condition and given time to ask questions. An estimate was texted to me. I didn’t have to leave my dog when he was taken to a procedure table in center of the facility and in view of all. He was given adequate sedation during the procedure and sent home with pain meds snd antibiotics. I regret I can’t recall names of the 2 kind, knowledgeable vets working with us. But the awesome staff were Gabbie and Nancy. I have a healing broken bone and Nancy even got my dog in the car for me. Hopefully we never need another emergency vet visit- but if we do, we will definitely come to VET.

VEG was absolutely amazing and incredibly compassionate during one of the hardest moments I've experienced. My dog had been hit by a car, and I was completely overwhelmed, but the entire team helped me through the process with so much care and kindness. The nurse who cared for us was exceptional. She was comforting, patient, understanding, and incredibly gentle with both my dog and my emotions. She took the time to thoroughly explain everything and answered every question I had in a way that made me feel informed and supported. I wish I had gotten her name because she truly made such a difficult experience a little easier. I hope I never have another emergency, but if I do, I wouldn't hesitate to come back to VEG. They have an outstanding team, and I'm so grateful for the compassion and care they showed us when we needed it most. Gilbert and I left with a smile!

My blue heeler received amazing care here. No one wants to go to the emergency vet, but this experience was as painless as it could possibly be. The dr saw our dog within minutes of walking in and communicated a care plan quickly. They provided a quiet room for us because our dog is anxious. The nurses were knowledgeable, efficient, and comforting. My dog was admitted for the night, and they provided EVERYTHING so I could stay with her: bed, phone charger, toothbrush, coffee, snacks… I would never have expected that from an emergency vet. Not only that, but my dog received a very high quality of care, and she is now home and well. I could not be more grateful.

Lexi showing the doctors the "all clear" and back to enjoying her favorite pastime. We've given her raw bones while supervising her for over 10 years. Well, she managed to get one stuck in the roof of her mouth that we could not dislodge. The staff at VEG was phenomenal. They started treating her the minute we got into the door. Being able to see them treat her gave us a level of comfort. Highly recommend. PS...Lexi is happy to report she will only get the meat off the bone now.

Thank you for honoring Willow Dear Katelyn, Kailey, Lauren, Dana, Jo, Mayla, Kay and the entire VEG Ann Arbor team… Thank you for the beautiful rainbow bridge card covered in your handwritten notes, and for the precious pouch of Willow's fur. We were heartbroken to lose her in our truck before we could reach you. The wonderful female Veterinarian who helped us with Willow when we arrived was so gentle and kind, we so very much appreciate her! Please forgive me for not remembering her name. The fact that you would take such gentle care to honor a girl you never had the chance to meet means more than I can say. Having something so soft and so her to hold has been a deep comfort. Please accept the attached thank you from our family, with Willow's sweet face. We will treasure your kindness always. With sincere gratitude, Ursula Good & Family

Our visit ended with the worst posible news, but I cannot say enough about the incredible team at VEG ER for Pets. Every veterinarian, technician, and staff member treated me and our beloved German Shepherd, Whistler, with genuine compassion, professionalism, and respect. They took the time to answer every question and made an unimaginably difficult experience just a little easier to bear. If this were a full-service veterinary practice, I would move all of our pets here without hesitation. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Whistler and our family. Woke up Saturday to my dog having continued issues with Diarrhea w/ blood and was not able to take him to his normal vet. Did a quick google search and based on the reviews I called VEG ER and from the moment they answered the phone it was an amazing experience. Brittany, Robyn, Dr Long, and the other ladies in the office (apologize for not getting your names), EVERYONE was so friendly, helpful, understanding, attentive. Was a night/day different experience than I'm accustomed to with most vets and ER. The open concept, and being able to be with your pet the entire time…is a blessing for someone who has an animal like mine with separation and anxiety issues. Im not sure if this place is “fear free” certified but they might as well be. Because of the open concept, other animals are being seen around you and my experience was the same experience for everyone being seen, compassion across the board and everyone got the same love. You can tell everyone loves their job. I hope i dont have to visit the ER again but if I do, this is where I will be going. Somewhat of a drive from Natomas but it is worth it. They are opening an office in Roseville. They Really need to bring this open concept to normal vet practice. 5 stars, thank you for taking care of Jax. He would probably be less freaked out about going to the vet if every experience was like this.

Visited them today because my dog swallowed a big piece of pork bone. None of my previous dogs had ever done anything like this, so I was honestly freaking out. I searched around and decided to go with VEG ER in Anaheim since they had the highest reviews. It was a bit of a drive, but 100% worth it. The staff and doctors were all super friendly, and the clinic was really clean, organized, and had an open layout that made it feel less stressful. Everyone took the time to explain what was going on, and I never felt pressured into anything. One thing I really appreciated was how transparent they were with pricing. After discussing the treatment options, they texted me a rough estimate before moving forward. The emergency exam fee was around $200, and the Maropitant 10 mg/mL injection to make him throw up was about another $200, plus the other medication and treatment fees. My total came out to about $835. They were very upfront about the costs, and they also accept CareCredit if you need it. The injection worked, and my dog threw up a decent amount of the bone, but there were still some pieces left. I decided not to do a second round because the medication can make them pretty drowsy, and I didn’t want to put him through more unless it was absolutely necessary. For now, I’ll just be monitoring him closely and hoping he digests the rest without any issues. Hopefully I never have to come back for another emergency, but if I do, this will definitely be the place I go. Thank you to everyone at VEG for taking such good care of my pup and helping calm an anxious dog mom. 10/10, highly recommend ✨

I brought my three year-old Boston terrier to this ER vet at 11 PM in the evening Friday and they could not have been nicer more attentive and kind in such a very delicate traumatic experience that my Boston terrier, Atticus and I experienced. I found my terrier on the ground in the kitchen having a severe seizure that lasted 14 minutes. He continued to have seizures all evening and that’s when I decided to have him hospitalized the three women physicians were amazing. The team of techs on Friday night were beyond helpful and sweet and loving towards my Boston terrier. I will always recommend this place to my friends that love their pets and want to have the best care ever!!

VEG ran like a well oiled machine lubricated with compassion, care, teamwork. Everyone was engaged. No one seemed tired or irritated. We were there after midnight. There were several critical pets already there or that came in. They took precedence because my pup was not critical. However, I was made aware of the wait and why. We were checked on regularly and given wait time for labs & x-ray results. Hospitalization was handled the same way. And the day team was working with the same integrity and dedication. I will not hesitate to return or refer friends & family.

We brought our dog, Buddy, to VEG twice last week, and I can’t say enough about the care we received. Our first visit was when Buddy wasn’t feeling well last Monday. We were able to bring him in right away and we got seen quickly. They took great care of him before he was transferred to Tufts, where he spent the week undergoing testing. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with cancer. We brought him home hoping to spoil him and make him as comfortable as possible, but it quickly became clear that it was his time. We made the difficult decision to bring him back to VEG to say goodbye. Even though the hospital was incredibly busy that evening, they welcomed us back without hesitation. Every single person we encountered was kind, compassionate, and treated Buddy with love. Even tho the practice is an “open room” concept, they had a private room for euthanasia, which we appreciated. One of the vet techs even searched the break room for every snack she could find, hoping Buddy might enjoy one last special treat. It was such a small gesture, but it meant the world to us. Saying goodbye is one of the hardest things you’ll ever do, but VEG made it as peaceful and comforting as it could possibly be. We will always be grateful for the kindness they showed us.

We had a great experience at VEG. I really appreciated being able to stay with Cece throughout the entire visit, which made a stressful situation so much easier. The technician who helped us from my initial phone call through check-in and taking Cece’s vitals was also incredibly kind and compassionate. Dr. Anna Eickhoff was sweet, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly before I even had to ask questions. She seemed very experienced, and I felt completely confident that Cece was in great hands. I honestly wish Dr. Anna Eickhoff could be Cece’s primary vet! Hopefully we won’t need another emergency visit, but if we ever do, I’d be happy knowing Cece is in such good hands! Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of Cece.

I want to sincerely thank Dr. Rusch and the entire team at VEG Flower Mound for saving my dog’s life. VEG saw my French bulldog for a heat related injury. As soon as we walked in the door we were met with prompt attention to our girl. She was on a treatment immediately despite the fact she was in fairly stable condition. The entire staff was so welcoming, loving and empathetic. Dr. Eisemenn met with us instantly and began the exam right away. Dr. Eisemenn and his team were excellent! Yes, emergency visits are expensive and we were provided an estimate without asking. We really appreciated the upfront transparency. Happy to say our girl is feeling as best as she can and she is recovering nicely at home. We are really grateful to the VEG team because this could have been a worse situation. Thank you!

I brought my dog in on one of the scariest days of our life. The staff treated him with the utmost compassion and care. They truly treated him like he was the most important dog in the world (because, of course, he is). I hope I never need an emergency vet again, but if I do, I’m so glad VEG will be there to help my pet. Dr. Lee was so knowledgeable, kind, and patient. He made sure we understood exactly what was happening and had a calming presence that let us know our Toast was in the best possible hands. The veterinary assistant was so compassionate as well. She made it clear that our dog was her only priority and her sole focus during that time was keeping him comfortable. After discharge, we thought of even more questions and called back in. Dr. Lee himself got right on the phone and once again took the time to answer all of our questions. Finally, we knew an emergency vet would be expensive. They were totally honest and transparent up front about what the cost would be and any alternatives to treatment that might have been available should cost be an issue. The total bill was less than I expected walking in and I appreciated the honesty regarding financial obligations. I would rate 10 stars if I could.

Amazing, kind, knowledgable, and helpful. I have needed VEG twice in the past few years and I would recommend them to anyone having an emergency with their fur babies. I appreciate that you can stay there with your pet the entire time, through all their tests and care, and I was so pleasantly surprised that I could stay overnight with my babies so that they wouldn't have to be alone. I got to sleep next to my kitty who developed cancer on his last few days, which means the world to me, we brought him home to say goodbye with the help of Lap of Love, who I would also highly reccomend. My other visit was with my cat who suffered an acute kidney injury after going under anesthesia for a routine dental cleaning, he has severe anxiety and I know being able to sleep with me was good for him. He fortunately has completely recovered! When my wife and I were there with him during his treatment for his acute kidney injury they also let us bring our fully vaccinated puppy to stay with us in the room as we couldn't find someone to babysit her for the whole time we were there which was a huge help. You never want to need VEG, but I am so comforted to know that they are there if I do. I appreciate y'all so much. You work so hard and really go above and beyond for your patients and their families. Thank you. ❤️

I had to take my dog to VEG ER tonight and they were so nice the whole time! Super busy but still checked in on us several times, while we waited for pets with more serious issues to be helped. I was asked three times if I wanted water, tea or coffee. I watched them race to help a woman who ran in with her Frenchie that was having breathing problems. I watched them comfort an upset couple. I watched as they let a family with kids hug their dog when it was asleep from sedatives, and while they surgically removed a foxtail that made its way halfway up the pups leg. I even saw them treating a python! The vet gave me lots of info about what they thought was wrong with my dog, explained what they could do, and gave me a quote before doing anything. They said “absolutely”, when I asked if they could try to help him without the light sedation (didn’t work well - so he got the shot), and let me help try to hold him still when they gave the sedation shot (he’s 70lbs), and again when they did the procedure. They didn’t act scared of his aggressive behavior when he was in pain/scared, my former vet acted afraid him twice before just from him jerking his head away when she was checking his ears and wanted him sedated. They didn’t push any extra pills or procedures or diagnosis’ he didn’t need AND I left there with a bill less than a what I’ve paid for ear infections at the former vet! They were very busy and I was only in there a couple hours. I definitely recommend them.

I brought my senior cat Sylvester in for a vet visit. He's 20yrs old, and I felt the quality of his life was declining. They explained to me what I was feeling was real, and they were happy I brought him in. Even though he was my friend, he was suffering. They advised that it was best to think of his quality of life. I put him down that day, it was the hardest thing I have ever done, I just couldn't fathom having him suffer any longer. The staff here was very patient, sat with me, hugged me, and were super empathic. They explained everything and I felt they really saw how much he meant to me. I have never been to a vet that took that kinda time and patience with me, they were honest, and made me feel he was safe. I left there upset over my best friend, but also happy on how well we were taken care of. I cant imagine what these folks go through on a day to day. I take my hat off to you for such an amazing experience. I will absolutely refer anyone looking for a vet to come here. These are professionals that are real people that actually care about you and your best friend. I cant even explain how much I truly apricated all these folks did for me. I came back a week later on the 1 week mark of his passing, and brought them donuts and flowers, thanking them for there kind words and compassion. These folks have a real special place in my heart.

The amount of empathy, care and professionalism is unmatched at their Easton location. Gavin - you and your team are some of the kindest hearted people I have ever met. And to work in such an emotionally charged environment and still manage to remain soft spoken and kind. You guys are such sweet souls and deserve all the best. Thank you so much!! ❤️ Picture of my girl Addy 2009-2026 ❤️
