We had to bring our daughter’s 2-year-old Eastern box turtle to VEG Roseville for emergency care, and the whole team was fantastic. Everyone was attentive, warm, and clearly knowledgeable — you could tell they genuinely cared. Dr. Weberg was phenomenal and went above and beyond, exhausting every avenue of care for our little lady. Amethyst and Melissa were also incredibly helpful, keeping us informed every step of the way and making sure our turtle was well cared for. It was not easy to get vitals on a turtle this small or administer the shot she needed. But they did it with confidence and care. So grateful for this team, highly recommend!

Absolutely the best vet appointment I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend taking your pet here. You get to stay with your pet the entire time, which helped him and myself to remain calm.

Excellent experience with VEG ER in San Ramon , professional team oriented work flow. We were informed throughout our visit and especially appreciate the transparency and open approach to the veterinary care. We were able to be with our dog Olive as she was given sedative , monitoring, exam and diagnosis of bilateral ear infections by a veterinary nurse and two DVM! Highly recommend this vet emergency room. Big thank you to Dr Christine Kim DVM and Kylie C. RVT for their professional top notch care !!

I took my beagle in at 2:30am and they were absolutely fantastic. I called ahead for advice and after talking to them they decided he should be seen. They texted a link to my phone and I submitted a very quick intake before bringing my dog in. Upon arrival, everyone was so sweet and caring. The open concept allows you to be with your pet at almost all times so there is no waiting around and wondering what’s happening. From the ER doctor to the nurses and triage, everyone was truly comforting and keeping me informed and comfortable at all times. My pup had to stay for 12 hours for an IV drip and I was able to leave and comeback whenever I wanted. Kasey, the overnight person we worked closely with was an absolute dream. She got him comfortable and checked in on me often for anything I may need while we waited together. When I returned later to check on him, Dot, his day nurse, was so sweet with her care of him and trusted my judgement on how to get him to cooperate. They put us in our own room while he finished the IV to give us some quiet time after a long night. I’m not a big review person, but after going through a stressful situation with my little love, the entire staff made it far better than I could have ever expected. Knowing they are there gives me huge relief should something go sideways again. Compassionate, kind, even funny (when appropriate and quite frankly needed). They love animals and will treat yours like their own.

Mel, Elly, and Marianne were world-class. Such an incredible, caring, and personable team. This is hands down the best vet service I’ve ever experienced. Everyone was completely locked in and genuinely cared about my cat. You can tell this isn’t just a job to them. They were super responsive, compassionate, and always one step ahead. I truly appreciate their care and heart. By the end, they felt like they were my cousins lol. If every vet operated like this, the world would be a better place.

I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Dr. Beverly and his team! From the moment we walked in the door, we were met with genuine compassion and kindness. Our family was quite distraught over our 5yr Malamute/Shepard mix being in respiratory distress, especially when we found out it was due to spontaneous pneumothorax. He explained everything thoroughly, listened to our concerns, provided us with options, and came up with a treatment plan that worked best for our family. We are so thankful to say that the chosen treatment plan worked, and our sweet girl is back home with us. We will forever be grateful for Dr. Beverly and everyone else that helped care for Dakota ❤️.

The most transparent veterinary care experience I have had (in WA, CA, or MI)! The facility has comfortable spaces for pets and people. The team kept me informed and invited me to be as hands-on as I wanted to be (with the exception of in the X-ray and operating rooms, but these had windows so I could see everything I cared to look at). The team was compassionate, competent, and genuinely cared about my dog Fezzik and trying to get the best outcome. Dr. Cat was more than thorough (and had a banger of a playlist for operating) in the effort to get all the answers and find solutions for my pup. Additionally, the estimate that I accepted and paid was slightly higher than the actual costs, and my credit card was refunded the difference the very next day.

We brought our dog, Buddy, to VEG twice last week, and I can’t say enough about the care we received. Our first visit was when Buddy wasn’t feeling well last Monday. We were able to bring him in right away and we got seen quickly. They took great care of him before he was transferred to Tufts, where he spent the week undergoing testing. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with cancer. We brought him home hoping to spoil him and make him as comfortable as possible, but it quickly became clear that it was his time. We made the difficult decision to bring him back to VEG to say goodbye. Even though the hospital was incredibly busy that evening, they welcomed us back without hesitation. Every single person we encountered was kind, compassionate, and treated Buddy with love. Even tho the practice is an “open room” concept, they had a private room for euthanasia, which we appreciated. One of the vet techs even searched the break room for every snack she could find, hoping Buddy might enjoy one last special treat. It was such a small gesture, but it meant the world to us. Saying goodbye is one of the hardest things you’ll ever do, but VEG made it as peaceful and comforting as it could possibly be. We will always be grateful for the kindness they showed us.

Great experience all around! We took Jolene in on a busy Sunday after getting into a little scuffle with another pup and we were seen very quickly. All of our options and the cost of each option were explained to us and the tech answered all of the questions we had so that we could make a decision on how to treat Jolene’s wound. We decided to start by having the wound cleaned to asses the severity of it and our final decision was to give her a few staples to help her heal quicker. We were never pressured into choosing the more expensive option - I appreciated the integrity here! We were allowed to stay with Jolene the entire visit and they sent her home in a high quality cone to prevent her from trying to nip/scratch/or irritate the wound and interfere with the healing process - much appreciated! I took Jolene back today to have the staples removed and it was another great experience! Alex greeted us at the door with a smile and took us back straight away. Our vet tech Sonny was so patient and great with Jolene. She was super friendly and even took the time to answer questions I had about one of our other dogs which I really appreciated. So much love for the wonderful staff at VEG!

During a stressful and unexpected medical emergency with our beloved dog, Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) proved to be an invaluable resource. From the moment we walked through their doors, we were met with compassion and efficiency. Jamie at the front desk was immediately reassuring and helpful. The entire team demonstrated a deep respect for both us and our anxious pet. The medical team, including the knowledgeable Dr. Madison Bober and the attentive nurse Sue, took the time to thoroughly explain the nature of our dog's condition. Dr. Bober clearly outlined the proposed medical procedure, answering all of our questions with patience and expertise, while Nurse Sue provided compassionate support. We also greatly appreciated the assistance of CeC Imani, who was so helpful during the process. And we were thankful for the upfront and transparent pricing, which allowed us to focus on our dog's well-being without the added worry of unexpected costs. Furthermore, the detailed explanation of the aftercare protocol was incredibly helpful. We left feeling well-informed and confident in our ability to provide the necessary support and recovery care at home. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Veterinary Emergency Group highly enough. If your pet ever requires urgent or emergency veterinary care, VEG, with their dedicated team including Dr. Madison Bober, Nurse Sue, CeC Imani, and Jamie, is a place where you can expect not only expert medical attention but also genuine care and clear communication throughout the entire process.

I arrived a couple of weeks ago with my heart and my mom's broken in thousands pieces getting ready for an awful outcome. One of my 4 legged babies was agonizing on my arms, we were a mess barely holding it by God's grace, the team received us and right away started putting things in motion to take care of my Fortu, and comforting us as well , I only have praises for the team at Veg, the nurses and Dr.Kennedy Tool, by the morning next things were so different and everything looked and felt just like a bad dream. I have 6 fur babies and Fortu is the youngest one and just as important as my senior dog, I hope to have kids one day soon so I can tell the story and they can meet my sweet Fortunato my most precious one ❤️ worth his weight in gold. Thank you guys At Veg for doing your best, my sweet mother and I are so grateful 🙏.

Hands down the best 24-hour Emergency Animal Hospital experience I have ever had. Each doctor, nurse, technician and customer service representative I dealt with was patient, kind, knowledgeable and supportive. They took excellent care of my 17-year-old cat going above and beyond for him. They made sure I was comfortable to stay with him in the facility, even preparing a bed for me with sheets, a pillow, and a blanket. I was able to spend as much time as I wanted with him, making his experience and recovery better. He is now back home and doing well.❤️

VEG is amazing! The staff, the facilities and the care are phenomenal. You are met with compassion and genuine care for you and your pet. Humans should be treated this well by their physicians! Everything is explained, you are made to feel important and seen. The care and attention is exceptional. There was not one staff member that didn’t appear to have a positive attitude or genuine respect for the patients and their family. I was lucky to walk away with treatment and good news. I witnessed someone get not so good news- the care that the human and pet got was not only compassionate, it was beyond the call of duty. Exceptional Service in all aspects.

A sincere thank you to Dr. Diana, Amanda, Jenna, and the entire team at VEG Cambridge for the incredible care and compassion shown to my dog during our visit. I’m beyond grateful for everyone at this pet emergency hospital!! From the moment my mom and I walked in with my cat Polly, they took her in immediately and treated her with so much kindness and compassion. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly caring not just to me, but especially to sweet Polly. I wish I knew everyone's names because they all deserve to be recognized for their amazing hearts!!! The staff worked so quickly, kept us informed, and gave Polly the best care imaginable! Seeing how gentle, patient, and loving they were with her meant everything to us during such a scary time. Thanks to them, Polly got the help she needed and we were able to bring her home. I truly feel so blessed and thankful that we had this place. If I could give them a million stars I absolutely would!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such wonderful care of Polly. I will never forget the kindness you showed us🥰❤️

A beautiful team, with beautiful hearts. We found a precious kitten in a shop doorway in Gallatin after the 4th of July parade. X-rays were taken, and the poor girl had too much damage to her bones for her to be saved. They made her last few moments as comfortable as possible. Thank you so much for your kindness.

Lots of emotions this weekend, we basically spent Friday to Sunday onsite. Having said that, our experience was once again phenomenal. We just can’t say enough nice things about the staff and the quality of care at VEG. It’s not our first rodeo there. They saved our Iggy for now. She means the world to us, and it seems she grew on a few on the team there.

Everyone here was incredibly kind and compassionate. I brought in a tiny wild baby bunny that my cat had caught after being turned away by several other places. Even though it was wildlife and not an animal they would normally treat, the entire team was still willing to take a look, care for the bunny, and do whatever they could to help, without charging me anything. What touched me most was how much compassion everyone showed toward such a tiny life. The staff also helped reach out to wildlife rehabilitators to see if anyone could take the bunny. Unfortunately, because the bunny was so young and fragile, there wasn’t a rehab with the appropriate resources available to accept it. Even though there was only so much they could do, everyone genuinely tried. I’m especially thankful to Phoebe, but I truly appreciate every single person who helped us that day. After being turned away by so many other places, seeing an entire team willing to spend their time and effort helping a tiny wild animal meant so much to me. You can tell that the people here genuinely care about animals, no matter how small they are or whether they are someone’s pet. This experience left such a wonderful impression on me. If either of my cats ever needs emergency care, this will absolutely be one of the first places I consider. Thank you to everyone who helped and showed so much kindness to this little bunny. ❤️

First time here and we will 100% be coming back for any future emergencies with our dog (hopefully not too many times lol). Our girl was taken care of from the second we walked in to the minute she left. We were able to be there with her the whole time, and all the staff were such a joy. Grateful it wasn’t life threatening—even then they still treated her with priority and made us feel heard. Thank you to the team! She says thank you as she’s currently on her pain meds lol

Absolutely outstanding care! We brought our retired Military Working Dog in after a bad hit-by-car injury, and the team at VEG was phenomenal. A huge thank you to Victoria (our vet tech) and Dr. Hopper for their skill and compassion. The entire staff worked together seamlessly — it was impressive to watch. The front desk lady was also wonderful and so helpful. One tiny suggestion: name badges or quick introductions would be nice so we can personally thank everyone. VEG is truly the gold standard for emergency vet care in North Atlanta. Highly recommend!

My dog ingested something at home and became extremely ill. Our usual veterinarian was unable to see her promptly and advised us to seek emergency care. The staff at the facility were exceptionally kind, friendly, and supportive throughout the process. I was impressed with the quality of care provided, which I believe exceeded expectations often associated with human emergency rooms. They were transparent and upfront about the costs, which were surprisingly affordable. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of emergency veterinary services.

I want to give a huge thanks to Dr. Manning, Dr. Riddick, and every staff member who helped when my cat’s health took a sharp turn. I brought my 10 month old kitten to VEG last week when he got sick and our regular vet couldn’t see him, and I’m so so thankful for the compassion and care from everybody who works there. I was able to bring him back within 24 hours for no extra exam fee where the staff determined that he should stay overnight for treatment. They talked me through what procedures they would be doing and presented different payment options as well. I was also allowed to either stay with him overnight or come and visit whenever. They helped me get life-saving medicine through Chewy, and overall I was just so grateful for our experience. The overnight staff even made a cute little name tag for my cat, and made sure he was comfortable through what was surely his scariest experience in life. I’m sitting here now watching him be his crazy self again, when just a week ago he wouldn’t even lift his head to look at me. Thank you VEG for everything!!!

I am forever grateful to the entire team at VEG for the compassion, kindness, and exceptional care they showed our beloved kitty, Bella. We first came to VEG because Bella wasn't doing well, and our veterinarian suspected there might be something wrong with her spleen. Dr. Gabriela Reyes was the attending veterinarian that day. From the moment we met her, she was incredibly kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain what she believed Bella might be facing and treated Bella with such genuine care. An ultrasound was performed, and we returned home hoping for the best while waiting for the results. Later that same night, Bella suddenly began gasping for air and could no longer move. We rushed her back to VEG immediately. By then, the ultrasound report had come back and confirmed our worst fear: Bella had a very aggressive cancerous tumor in her spleen, and surgery was no longer an option. As heartbreaking as it was, our family made the difficult decision to let Bella go peacefully so she would no longer suffer. Dr. Gabriela Reyes showed us extraordinary compassion during one of the hardest moments of our lives. She gave us the time we needed, answered our questions with honesty and empathy, and helped make an impossible decision just a little more bearable. I will never forget her kindness. The entire VEG staff was equally amazing. Every person we encountered treated Bella—and our family—with such dignity, warmth, and respect. They made an incredibly painful experience as peaceful and comforting as it could possibly be. While we wish the outcome had been different, I am deeply thankful that we found VEG. Thank you for caring for Bella with such love and for helping our family say goodbye with compassion. Bella will always be in our hearts, and we will never forget the kindness your entire team showed us during her final moments.

After noticing our sweet boy was holding his neck down we took him to our local vet, we were given the run around on treatment options & were eventually told we needed a $5,000 MRI done at another clinic so that they can figure it out. We were keeping him medicated until we could get him into physical therapy because we were under the impression of a pinched nerve or disc issue & our local vet wouldn’t help us any longer. Fast forward two weeks later his health was declining. We made the decision to bring him into VEG, immediately we welcomed with the most compassionate and caring staff. Dr. Smith & Jacy came over to look at our boy & said she wanted to check for cancer. Many people brought their animals in the hours that we were there & the attention to Kane, my husband & I never slacked a bit. After some x-rays, it was confirmed that’s exactly what it was & unfortunately we had to make the decision to euthanize our boy. Jacy moved us into a private room to say our goodbyes, & share thoughtful words. Dr. Smith was extremely thorough and patient with us & our questions. I cannot thank them enough for the level of care ourselves & Kane received that night. Picture tax of our sweet boy. ❤️

This VET emergency location is truly the best. They are so compassionate, timely, collaborative and supportive during a visit. While emergency vet situations are difficult to navigate, they take their time to ensure you understand what is happening with your pet and what the options are so that you can make a true informed decision about your pets care. Sedation for a Frenchie is very difficult and they took so much time and care to make sure he could breathe and handle procedures without issue. I wish these providers and techs were primary care as I would not hesitate to take my sweet puppies to them for their standard care. With three “Bo’s” being cared for at once, there was no time they were confused. Our Bo received so much love and support while we navigated his swollen gland. He is now home and snuggling with his sister. Thank you for all that you do. You’re truly amazing individuals!

We had to bring our fur baby Heidi in for emergency care at VEG in Sugar Land yesterday & Dr. Lee was wonderful. He was so caring & kind to both us & our fur baby. She’s truly our baby so it made a huge difference while we were so worried & she wasn’t feeling well. All of the staff & nurses were awesome too. Our girl was actually happy each time someone came in to get her for testing, to check on her or to talk with us. We’re so grateful for the level of care & kindness we received. It made a difficult situation a lot easier to get through. We highly recommend this place if you ever need emergency vet care.

I am very pleased with my visit here ☺️. My cat, Bobo, wasn’t eating or drinking. She felt very weak for two days. I had decided this wasn’t like her at all. So I rushed over here. the staff is incredibly kind and helpful❤️ they have a tough job. I found out Bobo had a high fever and tapeworms. though the bill wasn’t nice, I don’t blame anyone for it. An emergency vet comes with its costs. Immediately two days after visiting, Bobo was jumping on tables, using the litter, meowing. Just being herself again…☺️I was so happy!!! My cat was back to normal. no sickness, no fever, and she had medicine for her tapeworms. I definitely recommend you all to come here. just be patient with the staff. they’ve seen a lot, and they surely don’t make the prices. ❤️ so do not blame the staff for the enormous bills. what I did was I stated my budget and they were considerate of it. Below, I attached a before and after photo of Bobo😻visiting this location! (She had stayed in that box the entire day with no movement) no playing, eating, or anything. But after ! She was able to go up and down the stairs and play with her siblings 💕

This isn’t our first visit to VEG, and I’m sure it won’t be our last—pet emergencies have a way of striking when you least expect them. It’s an enormous comfort knowing their team of wonderful, strong (mostly) women 💪 are there whenever we need them. I’m especially grateful they allowed me to stay by my pet’s side throughout treatment and included me in her care. No one knows a pet better than their owner, and that partnership made all the difference in her comfort and recovery. The staff answered every question with patience and kindness throughout our stay. Carla, our nurse, was gentle and attentive with our girl in a way that meant more than words can express. Dr. Croel was thorough, direct, and honest with us every step of the way. The facility itself is spotless, and the staff clearly prioritize patient care in everything they do. As much as we hope to never need an emergency vet, we’re deeply grateful VEG is there when we do. Maya and her family thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Thank you to the staff who helped my family and I through one of the hardest decision we had to make. They took the time out to weigh out our options, answer any questions we had. But most of all the care and compassion we received through this painful time. He is now no longer suffering in the arms of my mother who passed in January. Yuki truly was my angel baby. I was blessed to have him, even if for a short time. Thank you so much for doing everything you possibly could. For supporting my family and loving these beautiful fur babies as if they were your own. God bless! I would highly recommend taking your pet to VEG ER for Pets. The staff was very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. We were seen pretty much immediately, and I was kept apprised of everything that they were doing to care for my pet. I even watched them perform the x-rays through a little window. It’s a bit expensive, but not egregiously so when compared to other emergency vets in the area. For the services rendered and the quality of the staff alone it was well worth it. Striper and I are so grateful!

My dog was 13:year old female rough collie that started to decline in health as soon as she turned 13. She had been under care of my regular vet. Well on July 4th she started to have this weird whine bark; she had a similar behavior the night before but settled down. She seemed like she was anxious; so I tried to find out who could see her. I called the VEG in Leesburg and they told me to bring her in. ...I had told them over the phone I had decided it was time - she wasn't eating, could barely walk etc. I arrived; they came out to get her from my car and was already triaging her I had one person give me a glass of water while they were treating her ...they made sure I was comfortable while attending to my dog. The vet ran blood work and did a CT scan to confirm she didn't have anything wrong in her abdomen. They were also working on getting her temperature down but said it wasn't heat stroke. We decided the right decision was to let her go and the vet agreed. They took us to another room; the vet compassionately and caring let her go. She explained to me the process. The whole staff was compassionate and caring from the moment we came in to my dog's euthanasia. Today I got a card from them

I want to thank everyone I came in contact with at VEG Larkspur for their kindness! I felt very well taken care of and supported, and I appreciated that Riley's care was nurturing, comforting and thorough. The intake process with James was outstanding. He helped me settle down, with a private room which was so helpful, and he even shared some chocolate from his private stash :-) The doctor and every single one of the vet techs who helped Riley were wonderful, so caring and compassionate! The written report I received from Larkspur VEG via email a few days later was very helpful and included every detail of our visit including lab results. Their follow-up messages were so thoughtful, much appreciated, and they also forwarded a copy to Riley's regular vet. I'm so glad that Marin County now has this wonderful vet ER group, and I highly recommend them! Riley wants everyone to know that he is feeling much better now. =^..^=

We unfortunately needed to bring our beloved dog, Daisy, to an emergency vet. Our own vet was out of town and her staff suggested Veg. Everyone on staff that we encountered was very kind and compassionate. They do all their helpful procedures right there in front of you so you are never out of sight of your pet and always near your pet. That for me, meant a lot. Dr. Eiseman was very compassionate & knowledgeable and knew what to do to help Daisy. The nurse was also compassionate and knowledgeable in her capacity and so kind to us and our pet. I truly was scared our less than two year old doggy might not make it through. We brought her there yesterday, and today she is almost back to her normal self. 🙏 I highly recommend Veg ER.

VEG in Costa Mesa is such an exceptional pet hospital. Each time I've called to assess if we should bring our dog in, I spoke to the on-call doctor within 5 minutes. The staff is so great and kind and really treats your pet like family. My dog was hospitalized overnight and I could call at any time to check on him, received text messages with updates throughout the night, and when I came in the next day, a tech was sitting in the kennel with him because he was so anxious. Triage was super easy. The open concept of the hospital was really cool because you never had to leave your pet's side and can always see the techs and vet and ask questions. Dr. Nikki Smith was so amazing! She sat with us and explained everything that was happening, and she answered every single one of my questions. Adrianna was fantastic with Kaisen. When we went in for his recheck, he immediately recognized her and got so excited. We were able to be with him the whole time and never had to leave his side if we didn't want to. Very happy with the service. It is a bit pricey, but you receive exceptional care so it's a give and take.

Honest, compassionate, responsive staff and vets. They took excellent care of my cat Lovebug. He is a very sick senior tabby and they got him through a crisis so he can have some more terrific days at home. Wonderful place for emergencies.
