My 7 month old pup had a severe allergic reaction to a bee sting. 2 hours were spent here. Efficient care for a reasonable price. I do feel like they will rapidly out grow the space they are in currently. Several dogs but all dogs and owners behaved very well.

This place is amazing. I’ve never taken an animal to the Vet ER before but they exceeded my expectations. Staff was really friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy what they were doing. We were warmly greeted at the door and multiple staff members came up to look at our injured dog and make sure he was comfortable.. Dr’s spent time explaining recommendations and alternate ideas. He didn’t say it but Finn totally agrees.

Our first time going to Veg ER was great, considering the circumstances. Our dog managed to tear a claw off of her paw and the staff was very gentle and compassionate with our dog. It was clear throughout that the Veg ER team is kind, knowledgeable and had our pet's best interests in mind. Overall, we had a great experience and appreciate having this 24/7 resource available in our neighborhood!

I’d recommend this place to any of my animal loving friends & family for all of their pets emergencies. Brought in my dog, Bailey, last week for an allergic reaction & she was cared for immediately. Although my dog was scared (since she seen the vet twice in one day) they understood & was still able to work with her squirmy self. Bailey is doing so much better now & I have the vets at this establishment to thank!

The nurses and doctors were absolutely amazing. Zero wait time, I called on my way and they immediately got to work on my cat when we arrived. They figured out what was wrong and explained to me every step of the treatment process. They were gentle, kind, and efficient working on my cat. He needed to be held there for 48 hrs and they kept me updated on everything, letting me know he was in good hands. Definitely recommend taking your pet to this ER, I’ve never had a better and faster experience.

Our puppy swallowed a sock tonight, and the staff took amazing care of him. We were in and out in 30 minutes. Everyone was knowledgeable, efficient, and incredibly sweet. We were able to stay with Rufus the entire time and watch everything, which made a stressful situation so much easier. Highly recommend!

We found ourselves at VEG ER on a Saturday morning with our kitty, Dewey (not what we had planned, but alas). We were greeted by Aaron, who went above and beyond in terms of kindness, customer service, and making sure we were all comfortable. Dr. Landry was the veterinarian on duty, and I really appreciated her bedside manner, the time she took to talk with us and explain what she thought was going on with Dewey, and just her general personality and warmth. The wait was long as there were quite a few others there, but I wouldn’t have traded it for a shorter wait given how great the team was. I also want to give Vincent and Katelyn a shoutout. They were our vet assistants for the day, and they were both wonderful and kind even though Dewey wasn’t 😭

Thank you V.E.G. You were all so compassionate, kind, professional and acted with a sense of urgency when we brought in our 10 year old Great Dane mix for a “compassion visit.” At a time when we were initially uncertain about our decision to move forward with euthanasia, you assured we had made the only choice. There was no time wasted on gaining our Onyx’s weight when we came in the door or questioning the state of Onyx’s health. Upon arrival, we were met in the foyer by staff that knew we were on our way in to be seen for the compassion visit. There was no wasted time with questioning the health of our beloved dog as it was apparent he was in distress. We cannot thank you enough for helping Onyx transition peacefully in a calm setting. Onyx is now in heaven and we will see him again 🌈

We had to bring our fur baby Heidi in for emergency care at VEG in Sugar Land yesterday & Dr. Lee was wonderful. He was so caring & kind to both us & our fur baby. She’s truly our baby so it made a huge difference while we were so worried & she wasn’t feeling well. All of the staff & nurses were awesome too. Our girl was actually happy each time someone came in to get her for testing, to check on her or to talk with us. We’re so grateful for the level of care & kindness we received. It made a difficult situation a lot easier to get through. We highly recommend this place if you ever need emergency vet care.

I first brought my 15-year-old dog here after she had a seizure a little over a month ago. I was incredibly impressed with how quickly the team acted, you could truly feel their sense of urgency and genuine care. Dr. Indya Woods was so kind, took the time to explain everything clearly, and respected every decision I made regarding my girl’s care. I loved being able to be with my dog throughout the whole process too! The nurse who helped us was also amazing, though I unfortunately can’t remember her name. It was such a scary and emotional situation, but I feel very grateful and blessed that my dog received the care she did. Update: Unfortunately, my girl had another, smaller seizure this morning just as I was about to leave for her primary vet. Since they were still closed, I called VEG for advice regarding the rescue medication they had previously sent us home with. They were incredibly kind, walked me through everything, and made me feel confident in my plan. Dr. Lauren Finney went above and beyond and even provided me an additional dose of the rescue medication, which I deeply appreciate. It gives me more peace of mind knowing I can help my dog at home if needed (though I pray I won’t have to). I would absolutely recommend this team to any pet owner facing an emergency. They truly care-not just for your pet, but for you as well!! Thank you all so much!!

WOWWW! Just wow! The service and compassion provided by this place, especially the nurse manager Alecia & Dr Doll, are Incredible. This place will go above and beyond to help you every step of the way. They truly care and it shows! My husband was out of town and I was unable to lift our dog Girl into the truck on my own. She had a severe infection in her leg and needed help asap! The staff offered to come to my home and help load her into my truck! When they arrived to our home plans changed and I was unable to take her to the vet. The staff was so understanding and offered to come inside to assess her condition. After they left they stayed in contact with me checking in on Girls state through the night and next morning. The next day I was able to get her to their office and we were met with open arms and love. We are forever grateful for this place in our time of need! We highly recommend them!

Wonderful experience! The care and understanding that our dog received was amazing. From the minute we walked in the door and walked out the door our pet was with us, together through all the procedures we experienced understanding, patience, and professionalism with medical explanations along the way. We observed other pets and their owners being treated the same way. Keeping us together relieved a lot of anxiety and fear, which meant the world to us to be by his side and for him to see us. We want to thank the staff at VEG Shrewsbury for the amazing treatment that our Kangal received.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this veterinary emergency clinic. From the moment we arrived, the staff was quick, attentive, compassionate, and incredibly professional. They took the time to listen to our concerns, thoroughly assess our dog and keep us informed every step of the way. The entire team was caring and efficient, which made a stressful situation so much easier to handle. It was clear that everyone genuinely cared about both our dog and our family. The level of service, kindness, and expertise we received was truly outstanding. We are so grateful for the amazing care they provided and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of emergency veterinary care.

We did not expect that during our vacation time in Colorado for the 4th of July weekend, Pancake will get sick and needs emergency assistance. I admired their expertise when giving emergency care to my fur-baby. They make sure that Pancake is comfortable and allowed us to stay the whole time he was admitted. I am grateful with Dr. Remy Watt and the team that day. Pancake was doing good with the 10-hour drive back home and recovering well. 😊

It's hard to find the right words to share how grateful I am to VEG for being there and helping my very sick dog get better. They are attentive and kind, professional and very knowledgeable. I am grateful to the whole staff with a particular shoutout to Dr. G., Dr. McCorkel, Dr. Vossler, CEC Maddi, and Nurse Jenny. Thank you for taking such great care of my very nervous dog. It is such a relief to have access to such a reputable practice when needed in an emergency as well as for phone consults/having my questions answered. Thank you so much for being here for us!!

I brought my dog into the ER and was fortunate to meet Dr. Roberts, who compassionately guided us through a difficult time. She examined my dog and inquired about her condition, showcasing extraordinary care and empathy. Dr. Roberts exceptional kindness and dedication surpassed any veterinarian I've encountered. Erin, Dr. Roberts assistant was equally impressive, offering kindness and support. Together, they made a heart-wrenching decision more manageable with their compassion. Though I had to bid farewell to my beloved pet, their kindness eased the process, helping me find solace in a difficult moment. She was born with the heart, knowing she will capture everyone's heart she met.

I cannot say enough good things about VEG ER for Pets. I brought my dog here after a rough 36 hours of severe vomiting and diarrhea, and we were seen within an hour. The entire staff was incredibly kind and empathetic. What stood out the most was how accommodating they were—they actually encouraged me to stay right with her and treated her right in the waiting area because that’s where she felt the most comfortable, even though they had treatment rooms available. As someone who works in marketing, the only tiny critique I could give is that a follow-up call the next day would have been a great touch since it’s so standard now—but honestly, that doesn't change the 5-star experience. The only thing that truly matters is that they took amazing care of my girl and fixed her up. Thank you, VEG team!

I unfortunately had to put my baby down due to seizures and came all the way from Palmdale to this ER. Place was clean and peaceful and gave us as much time as we needed. Staff were professional and sweet and treated him with care. Price was reasonable and allowed me to take my baby back home and is now resting in peace at home with his tennis balls. They also sent a very lovely and heartfelt letter after his passing wishing us condolences. I definitely recommend coming here. P.S thank you for the letter team, my family and I never expected it. We truly appreciated it. 🖤

I unfortunately had to make the difficult decision to put my sweet girl to sleep. I cannot thank the VEG ER staff enough for their kindness, patience, and empathy. Special thanks to Dr. Cuccaro for her amazing bedside manner and providing me with all of the details to make an informed decision; Theodore whose calming presence made such a difficult situation easier to handle; and Nathan who was so gentle with my baby. They allowed me to take as much time as I needed with her before and after & went out of their way to make sure we were both comfortable. It’s a decision nobody wants to make, but if you have to this is certainly the place to do it.

I am incredibly grateful for the care we received. We came in for a respiratory emergency with my dog, Bourbon, and the team was amazing. Their passion and professionalism truly stand out. Highly recommended!

Everyone here was incredibly kind and compassionate. I brought in a tiny wild baby bunny that my cat had caught after being turned away by several other places. Even though it was wildlife and not an animal they would normally treat, the entire team was still willing to take a look, care for the bunny, and do whatever they could to help, without charging me anything. What touched me most was how much compassion everyone showed toward such a tiny life. The staff also helped reach out to wildlife rehabilitators to see if anyone could take the bunny. Unfortunately, because the bunny was so young and fragile, there wasn’t a rehab with the appropriate resources available to accept it. Even though there was only so much they could do, everyone genuinely tried. I’m especially thankful to Phoebe, but I truly appreciate every single person who helped us that day. After being turned away by so many other places, seeing an entire team willing to spend their time and effort helping a tiny wild animal meant so much to me. You can tell that the people here genuinely care about animals, no matter how small they are or whether they are someone’s pet. This experience left such a wonderful impression on me. If either of my cats ever needs emergency care, this will absolutely be one of the first places I consider. Thank you to everyone who helped and showed so much kindness to this little bunny. ❤️

I found Dr Banc and her technicians to be so knowledgeable and kind. They allowed me to sit by my pet and be present while they extracted the fluids form around his lungs. I really appreciate being able to watch the situation and that they didn’t just swept him back to a room where I had no idea what was going on. I even held the oxygen by his nose, which allowed him to see I was there. I think this brought him comfort. He is home and doing well. Thank you VEG team.

Drove an hour here for emergency care because the emergency vet closest to me is deplorable. The staff at VEG was caring and very sweet. They were also very thorough about everything. They even brought my boy a bed and blankie while we waited for x-ray results. It is expensive (as all emergency vet care is), and it took a while due to the triage nature of the facility, but the staff here is truly amazing. I definitely recommend.

We spent the last three days at VEG with our beloved 5 year old dog, Jammer, initially suspecting he had HGE… which turned into a much more harrowing experience than we could have fathomed when he didn’t respond well to treatment. We were terrified, emotional, and thought we would have to euthanize him after 36-40 hours (and even planned his necropsy, prepared to say our goodbyes.) Each and every single vet and tech and receptionist we worked with over the past few days was nothing but compassionate, caring, supportive, and willing to discuss each and every option. The fact that this amazing team was even willing to consult criticalists on his behalf multiple times speaks to how much they care… and ultimately was what saved him, along to their top-notch care, their willingness to allow me to assist with treatments, and even permitting me to do his esophageal tube feedings unassisted. He is alive today thanks to the team at VEG. His future is unsure… and we have a long road ahead of us, but we wouldn’t have even had that option if not for this team. He is HOME, which is all I ever wanted through this ordeal, even if it’s not for long. I cannot, and I mean CAN NOT, thank everyone at VEG enough. Jam, my husband, and I are beyond grateful. Thank you for allowing us to stay with our boy throughout the insane holiday weekend, providing us everything we needed, and caring for him like he mattered to you like he matters to us. Dr. Summers, Dr. Huff, Dr. Mac, Dr. Lockhart, Dr. Logan — and most especially Jam’s angel of a tech, Sam — THANK YOU for saving him for us to see couch naps and car rides and joy again.

When our exotic bird needed emergency care, the entire team went above and beyond. From the moment we arrived, they treated both us and our bird with compassion, professionalism, and genuine concern. The veterinarian was incredibly knowledgeable about exotic birds, took the time to explain everything clearly, and made sure we understood all of our treatment options. It's obvious that everyone here truly cares about their patients, no matter how small or unique they are. They handled our bird gently and confidently, which gave us so much peace of mind during a very stressful situation. The staff was kind, attentive, and reassuring every step of the way. We can't say enough good things about VEG ER in Clearwater. Our 10 year old Yellow Lab had a complete intestinal blockage, and we spent 14 hours there. From the moment we arrived, the entire team was incredible. We were there through three different shifts, and every single person from the lead veterinarian to the nurses, technicians, and front desk staff was compassionate, patient, and genuinely caring. One thing that was very important to us is they allowed us to stay with our dog the entire time. Once a room was available, they prepared a private room with a small couch so we could be as comfortable as possible while staying by his side. That level of compassion made such a difficult situation a little easier to get through. Even after we went home, I called the next two days because I still had questions about our dog's condition. The veterinarians on duty took the time to answer every question without rushing me, and I truly appreciated that. VEG made the best of a very scary and emotional experience. If your pet ever has an emergency, I highly recommend them. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for both pets and their families was exceptional.

I want to thank everyone I came in contact with at VEG Larkspur for their kindness! I felt very well taken care of and supported, and I appreciated that Riley's care was nurturing, comforting and thorough. The intake process with James was outstanding. He helped me settle down, with a private room which was so helpful, and he even shared some chocolate from his private stash :-) The doctor and every single one of the vet techs who helped Riley were wonderful, so caring and compassionate! The written report I received from Larkspur VEG via email a few days later was very helpful and included every detail of our visit including lab results. Their follow-up messages were so thoughtful, much appreciated, and they also forwarded a copy to Riley's regular vet. I'm so glad that Marin County now has this wonderful vet ER group, and I highly recommend them! Riley wants everyone to know that he is feeling much better now. =^..^=

We had the best experience with VEG ER. The staff here are compationate and caring! They greeted us at the door and sat right down on the floor with our pup. If you want to be involved with the care of your four legged family member 100% of the way way from diagnosis to discharge this is the place to go. They want you to feel like you are involved and not left out waiting in a waiting room for your pet. I will recommend this place till the cows come home, no joke! A huge thank you to everyone there this morning for making Rufus feel comfortable and putting our minds at ease.

This place is AMAZING! I called to inquire about services and wait time and the person who answered was helpful and sent a link to pre-register my dog. Upon arrival, it was like a pregnant woman in labor as staff greeted us by name, got my senior dog comfortable with a mat and blanket and did triage on the floor. We were just there for a bad ear infection but we’re still treated as a priority in a very kind and caring manner. Be prepared for the open style of care… you kind of can see and hear everything but it helps you understand the flow and serious priority (dog was rushed in and coded and EVERYONE stopped what they were doing to help this dog!) The staff and Doctors were so caring, they really listened and were not judgemental in any way. They treated my pup and sent us home with meds and instructions. PS… you can call anytime and speak with a Dr! Highly recommend!!!

We took our little pitty dog to the ER because she had a laceration right above her eye. We very much appreciated how kind and professional every single vet tech was with us. We loved the open floor plan of the clinic. We loved being able to be part of the process. Vet techs were very competent. We very much appreciated learning that our veterinarian had been trained at one of the best programs in the country. Her suture skills were really good (excellent). Better than we had experience many times in the past with our other dogs. Anesthesia protocol was very good.

I can’t recommend this place enough. Emergency vets can sometimes be considered a little scammy or care salesman-y but this place is nothing I’ve experienced before. I wish they did regular vet care. First, whenever answered the phone was kind and helpful. I was able to pre-check in through a link on my phone. Got there and they have couches for you to sit with your pet so you can stay with them the whole time, loved that. The nurses and vet techs were all so nice and patient with my standoff-ish 8 month old puppy. The dr we had was really calming, straightforward, gave an honest assessment and gave options for care. The most shocking part though? THE PRICE! I have paid more in a regular vet visit for vaccines than I did for this emergency exam plus treatment on a federal holiday afterhours. I am changing our pups emergency vet to VEG and will recommend to everyone I know!

The whole team was amazing. They saved my frenchie Lola on the spot from respiratory failure. Lola was cared with excellent skills, love and lots of care. Her nurses Alex and Clencly were by her all the steps of her life threatening episodes, saving her twice from respiratory colapse. Her amazing Dr. Lopez was great walking me through all the intense life threatening episodes and ensuring she had her meds, tests and constant care around the clock. In the middle of an awful ER day, I felt in the best hands, and truly cared by all the staff and most importantly her immediate team. Best ER in the city! 💓🐶

Do NOT hesitate to take your pet here. If anyone knows, it would be myself since i practically lived there for 3+ days. There is not one thing that the team at VEG Nanuet could have done better. They collectively saved my dogs life. I was there for days with my dog, and had the opportunity to meet what I believe to be most of the staff, and every single doctor, vet tech (nurse), receptionist, vet assistant etc etc was absolutely AMAZING at what they do. My elderly dog had to undergo major surgery with aspiration pneumonia, and as most know who have had similar experiences with elderly humans and animals, that's a death sentence in many cases. But my sweet girl is home, happy, playing with her ball, because this amazing team made it happen. They watched me sob for days, and every single person had wonderful bedside manor, even making me laugh at my worst. My tears of heart break turned into tears of joy knowing my Lady girl was coming home with me. The transparency here with being able to watch everything, including the surgery, is unmatched. I thought it was the end for my pup, but Dr Raino kept me going, and Dr Catto performed the surgery that saved her ultimately. I cannot thank them enough. I truly have a place in my heart for these people now after what they've done for my girl and my family. Because of my experience here im certain my future career path is in animal medicine, watching their empathy, kindness, and real true knowledge of animals is inspiring. I haven't slept in days so i may be rambling, but it's the rambling of a happy dog mama in the end. PSA as well, ban peaches. For good. Thank you all again!

It has taken me a little bit to write this. This emergency vet, they are kind, compassionate, and empathetic... I am grateful for them and their staff. We live in Casa Grande, there is no ER vet.. VEG was the closest at just over an hr away (due to traffic at the time on the I-10). I called to tell them we were coming with our 91lb German Shepherd who collapsed, had very pale gums and was drooling profusely. They told me to let them know when we arrived and they would come out and carry her in. They did just that. Immediately asked if we wanted resuscitation since she had stopped breathing and had no heartbeat. Said "please know it's not all about money, but I do need to make you aware of the fee for resuscitation" I truly felt it wasn't about money, but they had to let us know.. kept coming to us to give us updates, asked if we needed anything, gave real but compassionate possible outcomes. Eventually found she had fluid in her chest cavity due to a ruptured tumor on her spleen that we were unaware she had. They were so kind, so apologetic.. not one word from their staff sounded insincere. Though our baby girl didn't make it, I saw for myself how much this staff cares. I couldn't have asked for more, except that there was one closer to us. Thank you all for trying to save Senshii, she was loved so very much and thank you for your kindness in every aspect of our visit.
