This place is so amazing! Would highly recommend! Here’s the reason for our visit. Ruby decided to snack on a hydrangea, which we discovered can be extremely toxic to pups. So happy to have this clinic nearby!

My wife & I are beyond grateful for the entire Veg care team! We both had low confidence our pup would make it through this “storm.” From the moment we stepped through doors the bed side manners, the support from understanding and helping us make tough decisions, the love and care they showed to our Pup to encourage her to fight through everything, and to each team member doing whatever they could to help support us all by making us comfortable however they possibly could….. no words can express how beyond grateful we are for each and every amazing individual working there. A special recognition to Dr Lee, Dr Timberlake, Miss Emily, Taryn, Chelsea, & Sam. You all were truly our Angels through out this entire experience. Each courageously steered our ship through this storm helping my wife and I keep faith that God would see us through this through the hands of you all. We observed how the entire team over two days, balanced putting every patient (and their owner) was given full individual attention, care, and support for. Each of you all are amazing individuals and admire you all! Also to the Director who came to us to offer starbucks- even a small gesture like that meant soooo much us- thank you! We have definitely decided that for the future, we will only be going here and would recommend here to everyone for their pet care emergency needs

I would like to highly recommend and thank the emergency animal hospital VEG ER in White Plains on Tarrytown Road. My newly adopted cat needed emergency care for a surprise bladder issue on Sunday morning and again on Monday night. The vets, vet techs and staff there were so amazing and our boy got the best care. Please visit them if your pet needs emergency care. I was blown away by their thorough care and extremely good bed side manners and kindness with humans and animals. You can tell these people love animals and their jobs. Also please keep Rubio in your prayers for continued healing. Thanks! Before and after pictures thanks to VEG ER in White Plains! We brought our puppy Pearl in as an emergency after she suffered a leg injury, and the entire team at VEG ER for Pets in Winter Park was amazing. From the moment we walked in, the staff was loving, attentive, and made sure she was comfortable the whole time she was there. They clearly care deeply about the animals they treat, not just the medical side of things but her comfort and emotional state too. We were understandably distressed bringing her in, and the staff made a scary situation so much easier to get through. We are incredibly thankful for everyone there who took care of our little girl. Highly recommend this team to anyone who needs emergency care for their pet.

I had such an incredible experience at Veg ER! Dr. Kearney and her staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND for my little kitty and it did not go unnoticed. My cat came in very sick and was diagnosed with a life threatening urinary blockage. Dr Kearney helped me immediately choose what was best for my cat and ultimately ended up saving his life. I could not speak enough of the kindness, professionalism, and promptness of Dr. Kearney and her staff!!! I was in one of the lowest moments of my life contemplating putting my cat down and they were all there to support and help me make the best decision. I owe so much to Dr Kearney, her staff, and Veg ER. Genuinely cannot speak highly enough about this place PLEASE bring your animal here for any emergency you will receive excellent service!!

Our dog ate a towel and were worried about his intestines. Took him there and the staff was great. Busy, but great. It's an open architecture, everything is out in the open, basically just a large room, you kind of get to know what's going on, the good, the bad and the ugly. Staff are super busy, and it is expensive, but they know what they are doing and are prepared for anything (that fits) to come through the doors. We were encouraged to come visit and sit with our dog as he needed to be there for about 10 hours to get a couple sets od X-Rays. Not the most comfortable place, but we sat in his cage, and I think he felt OK.

I am incredibly grateful for the care we received. We came in for a respiratory emergency with my dog, Bourbon, and the team was amazing. Dr. Águilar clearly explained the treatment plan and the necessary tests. Thanks to the medication he prescribed, Bourbon has improved significantly in a very short time. Their passion and professionalism truly stand out. Highly recommended!

The VEG Etobicoke staff and vets were really incredible, especially during such a stressful time. My cat swallowed a sewing needle and they were able to assess her quickly, locate the needle, and remove it without difficulty. I called ahead and they sent a check in form to speed up the process on arrival. We were immediately greeted and taken to a sofa where we could set up and stay close to our pet. There was some wait - all in all we were there for about 5 hours (7pm to midnight on a Monday), but she was seen by a tech immediately and by the vet within half an hour. They communicated with me and each other consistently throughout and I found the environment warm and friendly. I really felt like everyone cared deeply about the wellbeing of my cat, along with all the other animals on site. The clinic is modern and well equipped. Despite not being the closest vet emergency clinic to me, I would absolutely go back here (although of course I hope I don't have to!) because of the exceptional service and care that we received. At one point they came around with snacks for everyone to choose from! Really impressed and would highly recommend.

To be honest, I wouldnt take Meaner anywhere else! From the moment i walked in the door i was greated and made to feel like Meaner was top priority. Even through my bubbling tears i felt very cared for and understood. The compassion those ladies had was more than i could have imagined. I have never been felt so cared for in the history of 53 years of life. I was happy to see how each one of them seemed to naturally love their job and they got along so well! The compassion they give to every animal was like they were their own pet. VEG HAS SET A STANDARD AND THE BAR IS SET HI FOLKS TOP NOTCH IS ALL I CAN SAY!! THANK YOU VEG!

I just want to give a huge thank you to the team at VEG ER for Pets in Pikeville, Md. You all truly rock words can’t fully express how grateful we are for the care you gave my Moxy girl. Dr. Dwivedi, you were incredible. You really advocated for Moxy, and I honestly don’t think she would have made it through the day without you. You took the time to explain everything from start to finish with so much understanding and compassion. From the moment we walked in, everyone was attentive and ready to help—no questions asked. The kindness, empathy, and genuine care from every single staff member meant so much to us during such a stressful time. You made Moxy as comfortable as possible, even when she was so sick. The facility is spotless, and the hands-on approach from the entire team is truly remarkable. Honestly, the level of care you provide is better than what many human hospitals offer. I am beyond thankful for everything you did. We will always trust you with our pets. Thank you again—especially Dr. Dwivedi for everything. ❤️

I can’t thank the team at Veterinary Emergency Group enough for the amazing care they gave my 4-month-old Frenchie, Minnie. From the moment we walked in after she broke her leg, the entire staff was compassionate, professional, and truly caring. They treated Minnie like she was their own and made a stressful, heartbreaking situation so much easier for us. The vets and nurses took the time to explain everything clearly, kept us updated, and made sure Minnie was comfortable throughout the process. You can tell they genuinely love animals and care about the families that come through their doors. Emergency situations are never easy, but I’m beyond grateful for the kindness, support, and treatment Minnie received. Thank you all for helping my baby girl on her road to recovery.

From the moment we walked in, we were given the highest level of attention and care. I wish I had gotten the names of the staff members because, honestly, everyone there was incredible. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable and very thorough. Although they looked like they had their hands full with furry patients who were more critical than ours, we were still treated like a priority — especially with our cat daughter, lol. The dedication and level of care were truly speechless-worthy. Everyone was so incredibly careful and attentive. I’m not sure if they’ll remember me, but I know they’ll remember my cat, Squeaks. So guys, thank you so much!

Where can I start, well for one I wish I knew the names of the ladies that helped us when I went with my precious Nala, whom I miss so much. We called in on May 19th at 3am and told the very nice lady who answered what was going on with Nala and how she was having a hard time breathing and slobbering all over. Was instructed to fill out a form so that they can have her information ready on file and to bring her in right away. We were received at the door and taken care of immediately. Unfortunately we were shown on the ultrasound that she was having heart issues and had fluid all around her heart. She was already dying so we had to choose to let her go in peace. The 3 doctors were very supportive with me and my daughters. It was a very hard decision but I didn’t want her to suffer. Thank you for being so patient and compassionate with us. It meant the world 🌎 to us. Thank you also for the box you added Nala’s body in and for the beautiful card you sent us. We have it in our fridge. They’re the kindest people I’ve ever met. I highly recommend them.

We had to take our dog, Gary, in for a minor injury (torn claw that had to be removed) and I was super impressed from the moment we walked in. No questions asked, because it was obvious what the injury was, we were taken straight into triage, seen straight away by the nurse and then again by doctor 10mins later. She explained the whole process of what she recommended (sedation, removal, follow-up care, antibiotics and painkillers) while also asking if we understood and if we had any concerns. What I especially loved about this place was the open and transparent environment of the facility. It felt like being in a human ER. We were practically in the middle of all situations and treatments and we were so close to Gary all the time. Often, at other places, you send your pet off to a backroom and you have no idea what’s going on. VEG ER is not like that. You’re literally sat with your pet through the entire experience. What’s also great is because you’re allowed behind the curtain, you get to see what else is going on. Behind us was a couple who had a cat with lots of complications and they had to make some pretty upsetting decisions. The vets were extremely kind, empathetic and patient with them. Which took a lot of time and time away from our dog being treated. BUT… because we were in the same room, we could see what was happening and were able to empathize with this family. We had a full visit time of 4.5hrs, which would usually annoy me, but because I was able to see everything going on, I truly understood why it took so long. I’m so impressed with this place that I wish they had a regular vet offer rather than just ER. I hope I never have to return, but solely down to obviously not wanting my dog to need it. If we ever need an emergency vet visit again, this is where I’d return. Recommend to all for any emergencies.

Unfortunately, I have had to go to multiple ER Vet Hospital’s in the past, and I can undoubtedly say I have never had the experience that I have had with your VEG team. A HUGE THANK YOU to Dr. Gagliardi and Nurses Sarah and Heather for the constant care, support, compassion, and complete understanding of our situation. The entire staff at VEG are all exceptional and made this horrific visit for both me and Kane as comfortable as possible and for that I will never be able to say thank you enough.

Update: More than a week later, he is still doing amazing! He’s back to parkoring with his siblings at 3 am, yelling at us so he can go sunbathe and eating like a horse. THANK YOU AGAIN!! 😭 I cannot put into words how grateful I am for VEG Alpharetta. Last week, our cat Guy Diamond, who is only 2 years old and whom we’ve had since he was about a week old, became extremely sick. What we thought was a stomach issue quickly turned into every pet parent’s worst nightmare. After bloodwork at our regular vet showed he was critical, we were rushed to VEG because they were the only nearby hospital with the medications and level of care he needed. The moment we walked through the doors, they already knew who Guy was. They immediately took him back and started working on him while keeping us informed every step of the way. Within hours, we learned that he had developed a severe kidney infection that had progressed into sepsis. His blood pressure was around 40/20, his kidneys were reaching their limit, and he had virtually no white blood cells. We were told his chances of survival were very low. I was an absolute emotional wreck. What stood out to me wasn’t just the medical care—it was the compassion. The doctor sat on the floor with my 5-year-old daughter and me and walked us through every option with so much patience, honesty, and empathy. They never pressured us. They simply helped us understand what Guy was facing and supported us through impossible decisions. When they told us that euthanasia would be a completely understandable choice given how sick he was, I looked at my daughter and knew I wasn’t ready to give up on him. This cat is her best friend. He’s family. So I gave them my budget and asked them to do everything they could to save him. The team at VEG did something I’ll never forget. They made my daughter and me a bed so we could stay overnight with him. If you ever have the opportunity to stay with your pet during a hospitalization, do it. Throughout that night, I watched these doctors and nurses pour their hearts into every animal that came through those doors. I saw heartbreak. I saw families saying goodbye. I saw pets fighting for their lives. And I saw a veterinary team that never stopped caring, no matter how exhausted they were. It completely changed my perspective on veterinary medicine and why emergency care costs what it does. They do so much more than people realize. I stayed awake with Guy until almost 5 a.m., praying harder than I think I’ve ever prayed in my life. Then the miracle started happening. His blood pressure began improving. His fever started coming down. And then we got the news that made me completely lose it, he was finally making white blood cells again 😭 They even showed them to us on the screen. I cried like a baby. After seeing so many heartbreaking cases come through that hospital, I wanted them to have a win. I wanted my daughter to keep her best buddy. I wanted our little boy to beat the odds. And somehow, he did. He wasn’t out of the woods yet. There was still edema around both kidneys, and we still had a lot to worry about. But every update got a little better. Every hour he fought harder. Less than 24 hours after we were told his chances of survival were slim, Guy came home. Today, just a few days later, he’s eating, drinking, using the litter box, demanding attention, and acting like the same goofy cat we’ve always known. Watching him curled up on the couch again feels like a gift I wasn’t sure we’d get. To every doctor, nurse, technician, and staff member at VEG Alpharetta: thank you. Thank you for treating Guy like he mattered. Thank you for treating us like family. Thank you for your honesty, your compassion, your skill, and your willingness to fight for him when things looked hopeless. Because of you, my kids still has their best friend. And because of you, we still have our Guy Diamond.❤️

Brought in my sweet girl Betty early in the morning with some tummy issues and hypersalivation. The entire team was super kind (even when things got messy!). The layout of the office is open, so it takes away that anxiety and stress of waiting for the unknown. She ended up staying overnight and with their open door policy, I was able to drop by and check in as they continued to monitor her. Highly recommend VEG ER for those moments when your fur baby is in need.

My 5 year old toy sized Blue Merle Australian Shepherd dog, Puzzle was rushed into VEG ER Winter Park after our Crystal Creek Animal Hospital vet suddenly advised her kidneys were failing and could die if she didn’t have immediate care and IV fluids for at least a few days. I called VEG from the vet’s office and immediately got a 10 minute consultation and estimate based on what we knew so far. They sent me a link to check in and have paperwork sent over from the vet asap so it was ready upon arrival. We were treated with kindness, patience and top care the moment we stepped through the doors. We wanted to be hands on with our dog and was given a personal room, complete transparency, thorough explanations and sympathetic consideration throughout our stay over 3 nights in the ER. They even went out of their way to make sure we had some food/water/hygiene products throughout that time. Later, the provided at home supplies, Puzzle’s food and phone/in person follow ups to ensure her continued health after being discharged. We eventually exhausted all resources there until we were finally referred to specialists in south FL (since the ones in central FL were unavailable for her immediate care needs). We will definitely recommend this ER to anyone who wants hands on care like we did. Puzzle is doing better after seeing the specialist and finding out the cause of her Acute Kidney Injury was from Chicken Jerky from Sam’s Club. I now warn owners to be more wary of single ingredient treats- even if listed made in the USA like ours was. So, we just wanted to give a shoutout to all the people who helped with our dog’s case during our stay :) Dr's : Wachman Oudin Bergeron Pulido Slaughter Lawrence Schimschock Nurses: Ashley R. Gabrielle M. Ellen M. Sophia D. Paola C. Kim B. Sarah E. Brenda G. Chase H. Jhanna R. CEC: Bryanna Kaytlyn Marisa Thank you all for everything you did for us and our fur baby! VEG ER was amazing in helping me when I brought in 5 two day old kittens, one of which needed surgery—an amputation. When my golden retriever had an eye emergency, I chose this ER simply based on location and a quick glance at the reviews. From the moment we walked in until the time we left, I was incredibly impressed with the care we received. The entire staff was so gentle and compassionate with my dog, and I was especially impressed by how thorough the exam was. Dr. Kimberlyn W. took the time to clearly explain which tests she recommended and why, and I appreciated being given pricing information before anything was done. At no point did I feel pressured into additional testing or treatment. Ariela and Shannon were also absolutely amazing throughout my dog’s care. Honestly, the best way to describe this place is something one of the assistants said: it’s like “The Avengers” of veterinary medicine. The best of the best all came together to work here. The diagnosis and treatment plan were explained very thoroughly, which I truly valued, and I was sent home with printed information to refer back to as well. During the wait for bloodwork results, someone even came in with a basket of snacks and offered me something to eat or drink…such a thoughtful touch during a stressful situation. I would recommend this place 100%.

Fantastic care and great service. My dog had a foreign object in her and was transferred to VEG at the recommendation of my urgent care vet. After a consult with VEG, they provided different treatment paths and were considerate of my budget. The entire team was fantastic, intelligent, and caring. During my dog's recovery, we had to return once more, and again the whole crew was fantastic, providing tiered/escalating treatment plans based on her response(s) during recovery.

VEG ER for Pets is absolutely amazing. The care and service that we received exceeded our expectations. Upon our arrival we were immediately greeted by the front desk staff and given an area to wait. Our pet was immediately triaged by a clinical staff member and Dr. Travers came over quickly to further assess Sebastian. We were kept updated throughout the entire process, and any questions or suggestions we had were heard and answered. During our stay we had multiple exceptional doctors. We cannot thank Dr. Travers , Dr. Darrow, Dr. Hart and Dr. Williams enough for the care they provided our precious pup! Every doctor in the practice was kind and available even if they were not assigned to our case. The nurses Cheyenne and Ashley went above and beyond during our entire stay and made the experience more manageable and a lot less scary. John at the front desk constantly checked on us to ask if there was anything we needed to help us be more comfortable. Everyone was exceptional from start to finish and I cannot say enough about the care we received. They even let us bring a toy from home for him while he stayed. We are truly grateful to everyone there! If we are ever in need of emergency veterinary care in the future VEG ER will be our destination.

I cannot say enough amazing things about the team at VEG in Larkspur. At 3am, after calling multiple emergency vets throughout San Francisco and the greater Bay Area and being told there were no surgeons available, VEG stepped in and saved my dog’s life. Finn was in an extremely scary situation, and from the second we walked through the doors, the entire team treated him like their own. Dr. Donner and her surgical team were incredible — calm, confident, compassionate, and transparent through every step of an emergency surgery. After surgery, Dr. Walker and her team provided outstanding post-op care and monitoring. They kept me constantly updated, answered every question with patience and empathy, and made one of the most stressful nights of my life feel manageable. You can truly tell that every single person there deeply cares about both the animals and the families attached to them. Thank you, Dr. Donner, Dr. Walker, and the entire VEG staff for everything you did for Finn. We will never forget it.

Everyone from Anneque at the front , the technician ( whose name I did not catch) and Dr Bailey were so lovely. Also, the Dr that I spoke with the following day was so thoughtful, helpful, and a pleasure to speak with. While my puppy was stable, there were multiple bigger emergencies being attended to. The care the patients, and the owners were receiving was all done with expertise and kindness. Bari and I say thank you so very much !

I had one of the scariest nights of my life when I came home and found my dog, Rocky, with a large open gash on his chest. I was panicked and didn’t know what to do, but from the moment I walked into VEG ER for Pets, the staff took over with such calmness, compassion, and professionalism. Dr. Michala Frederic was absolutely amazing. She was kind, reassuring, and took the time to explain everything clearly while moving quickly to care for Rocky. The entire team made such a terrifying situation feel manageable, and I truly felt like my dog was in the best hands. You can tell they genuinely care—not just about the animals, but about the families who love them. Thanks to Dr. Frederic and her team, Rocky is doing so much better, and I am beyond grateful. They truly saved my sweet baby boy. I will never forget how they treated us that night. Highly recommend VEG ER for Pets to anyone who wants their pets in loving, capable hands.

We had as good as possible experience with all of the staff at VEG ER H St over our cat’s several day stay with them. They were attentive and caring toward us and our cat even when the clinic was busy and they allowed us to visit at any time. They provided soft bedding in his space and also allowed us to bring clothes and blankets from home to keep him more comfortable. They were able to stabilize him and get him back home to us with instructions for his care and a certificate for his bravery. Very sweet staff!! 🖤

Most definitely, THE BEST, place around if you're needing emergency care or just basic care for your pets, the staff that worked the night of our girls emergency were AMAZING, i sadly only remember one of their names (Julie Bulford) i think that's how you spell the last name. They never took our girl out of our site, they let us be involved in helping with her (optional) They never did any testing, treatments, medications, etc without asking first and also going over everything previously and making sure the price was okay with us before jumping the gun. I've never been to a vet with so much respect and compassion for our pets, i will continue to be a loyal customer to this place and also owing them our lives for saving our chihuahua (M.GiRl) Thank you guys SO MUCH all of you we're IMMACULATE

I brought my dog into the ER and was fortunate to meet Dr. Roberts, who compassionately guided us through a difficult time. She examined my dog and inquired about her condition, showcasing extraordinary care and empathy. Dr. Roberts exceptional kindness and dedication surpassed any veterinarian I've encountered. Erin, Dr. Roberts assistant was equally impressive, offering kindness and support. Together, they made a heart-wrenching decision more manageable with their compassion. Though I had to bid farewell to my beloved pet, their kindness eased the process, helping me find solace in a difficult moment. She was born with the heart, knowing she will capture everyone's heart she met.

They made one of the hardest moments of our lives feel a little more bearable for our sweet Rosie. From the moment we arrived, they saw her immediately and gently helped us understand that she wasn’t in a good place. We had a feeling something was wrong, but hearing it confirmed was surreal and incredibly difficult. The staff walked us through every option with patience and kindness, giving us the space and clarity we needed to make the heartbreaking decision to let her go. The care and compassion they showed our family was truly a gift. They treated Rosie with such tenderness and dignity, and they made her final hours as peaceful and special as they could be. We will always be grateful for the empathy, support, and respect they gave us during such an emotional time.

Saving grace! This facility and the angels 😇 working there are hands down the best. The open environment where you are with your pet and around the staff the entire time is perfect and eases stress. Dr.Rushing is great but seriously the entire team is top notch! I can't believe they have so many people under 1 roof that are so compassionate, patient, knowledgeable, empathetic, loving, calm, full of heart, hard working, personable, humorous, driven, and all the other stuff that makes you love a group of humans after 1 visit. Thank you all so much for taking care of us and our beautiful girl Aurora last night. I hope I don't ever need to but I'd drive 2 hours to see you again if needed. One last thing..... I want to apologize for Aurora's dirty looks and especially to the doctor that got completely shut down and rejected for trying to read her a Harry Potter book. Lol she really prefers you sing her made up songs about how much you love her and how beautiful she is. Lol A big thank you from Princess Aurora and her servants
