This VET hospital saved my beautiful kitty’s life. The Veterinarians are very skilled, they can run IV lines, they can do great assessments, and they care about animals. I brought in my kitty Rainbow because she was injured. I found out the cause of her injuries sitting at the VET hospital. While I was watching cameras in the house I saw she was abused and that led to her being transferred to Tufts for proper treatment. Her treatment was for hemorrhage of the brain, lacerations, and swelling. My ex-husband is being charged with animal cruelty and my 2 cats are both safe and loved. I cannot thank this place enough for holding onto my Luna (Rainbows sister) while I was looking for a safe place to place them. Everything has been better and my rainbow and Luna are cuddling with me, eating a lot, head bumping and licking me, and adjusting to the new environment. Thank you so much for savings my baby’s lives. These 2 cats are like children to me. I love them so much.

Unfortunately, I have had to go to multiple ER Vet Hospital’s in the past, and I can undoubtedly say I have never had the experience that I have had with your VEG team. A HUGE THANK YOU to Dr. Gagliardi and Nurses Sarah and Heather for the constant care, support, compassion, and complete understanding of our situation. The entire staff at VEG are all exceptional and made this horrific visit for both me and Kane as comfortable as possible and for that I will never be able to say thank you enough.

UPDATE - as of 3/7, Rocky is now back home from Tufts! And the director at VEG called me to check on how he was doing on the same day, it was perfect timing. Thank you all again for the care and support. Happy to report that Rocky is purring, snuggly, and eating food as he adjusts to being home again. ❤️ I’ve had to bring my cat Rocky to this location a few times unfortunately, and I have nothing but great things to say about this facility and their amazing staff. The first visit was after my cat decided to take a joy ride in the dryer, which obviously resulted in injury and warranted immediate care - I was panicked and worried that he wouldn’t make it, and with his overnight stay at VEG, he fully recovered! Unfortunately, just over a year later, I found myself in need of their help once again. My cat was vomiting, lethargic, and seemed to be in a lot of pain. They determined that he had a mass in his belly of foreign materials. It was a very busy day at VEG and they called another location to see if they had availability sooner to perform surgery on my cat. They didn’t pressure me into going elsewhere, but they clearly cared a lot about my kitty by securing treatment elsewhere. I went to the Newton location to have his stomach contents removed. They were also fabulous over at Newton and worked for 3 hours on my boy. Sadly, we had even more complications after this procedure which resulted in my cat developing aspiration pneumonia. I brought him back to VEG for oxygen therapy along with a course of medications. VEG Cared for my cat overnight and ultimately, his breathing was not getting better and he needed to go to Tufts for a higher level of care. You can imagine the panic I felt during this. A doctor and nurse transported my cat to Tufts while we followed, and they let me give him kisses and pets before he was admitted. I’m happy to report that he is doing better, but is still hospitalized as of today. I am eternally grateful for the staff at VEG, and cannot express enough how much I appreciate their compassion, knowledge, and care. They did everything they could for my cat and went over the suggested treatments with detail. I didn’t feel like I was pressured into anything unnecessary or anything risky. I can’t imagine doing the work that they do each day in such a stressful, fast paced environment. How they are all able to maintain such positive attitudes and demeanors is beyond me. Thank you all for being there for me and my beloved cat during an extremely traumatic and scary time.
