I cannot recommend this team and business enough. They were considerate, gentle, and informative from start to finish. We were immediately seen to a table (7 pm on a Sunday) and I waited no more than 10 minutes to see the vet, 15 minutes to have her tests started. The vet tech who came over first, Danny, actually sat on the floor in front of my dog to calm her and say hello while he asked me questions. The doctor, Dr. King, was so gentle with her and helped me understand the possible causes for her issue, treatment options (including the most affordable ones), and even talked to my dad in the phone because I needed some support while I was here. The vet tech that came to get her for Xrays and bloodwork, Shawnie (sp?), came over early while waiting for her partner to spend time with my pup and get to know her a little before they got started. Was it expensive? Yes. Did I expect that? Yes. Was it worth it? Absolutely. Thank you to this amazing team and to anyone reading this, I hope you never have to take your pets to a pet ER, but if you do - this is the place to go, hands down.

My dog Pico was sick for 3 days this week. We went in for a visit on Monday and were released to go home for outpatient care; when Pico didn’t improve, we came back on Tuesday and stayed for two nights. Even though my dog was sick and it was a stressful situation, my time at VEG ER was a fantastic experience from start to finish. There’s nothing I would change because it was perfect. The VEG staff is amazing and I admire their dedication to patients and animals. My husband also brought our dog Jack here in February (I was out of town for the day and was unfortunately unable to be there). Jack sadly had to be euthanized, but the care that we received during that visit and after the visit was remarkable and generous. I wish I got everyone’s names to compliment them all personally! Dr. Brough, Dr. Smith and Dr. Nacke-Horney were all fantastic and thorough. Patty and Jenna were warm and welcoming. All of the other vet techs were great and quick to help. I really appreciate everyone helping Pico and dealing with his GI issues. I know it required a lot of cleaning.
