The VEG team in Philly is AMAZING!! Our pup David was pretty sick and was there for 4 days, so we got to meet a lot of the staff. There are too many to thank, but Dr. Chatterjee and team offered such wonderful care. Even with about 10 different people working with us, they were always on the same page and up to speed on David. When we arrived we immediately went into triage and vitals, which was unexpected. I thought there would be a wait. The team allowed us to stay with David as long as we wanted and even gave us a room one day to stay all day. The nurses and vets were so gentle with him and even gave him a bath to help his skin. My husband and I were certainly freaked out and stressed about his condition, but the team always eased our minds. They took the time to walk us through everything going on and answer dozens of questions. I cannot recommend them enough if you have an emergency. You can feel how much they care about the animals. One of the nurses was bit by a cat and had to go to urgent care herself, and she was so sad she had to leave David!!

I’ve been to VEG many times in NJ and PA. First time with our new kitty Talia at the Northern Liberty location and again they did an amazing job. I can’t say enough about how great the staff and doctors are. They really make sure you’re doing okay and really love your animal like it’s their own. VEG is hands down the best emergency hospital! Thank you so much for taking care of our Miss Grumbles (nickname give by VEG staff and we are sticking with it!)

I can’t thank the team at Veterinary Emergency Group enough for the amazing care they gave my 4-month-old Frenchie, Minnie. From the moment we walked in after she broke her leg, the entire staff was compassionate, professional, and truly caring. They treated Minnie like she was their own and made a stressful, heartbreaking situation so much easier for us. The vets and nurses took the time to explain everything clearly, kept us updated, and made sure Minnie was comfortable throughout the process. You can tell they genuinely love animals and care about the families that come through their doors. Emergency situations are never easy, but I’m beyond grateful for the kindness, support, and treatment Minnie received. Thank you all for helping my baby girl on her road to recovery.
