Medical Director
University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy (UVMP) in Košice, Slovakia
Dr. Kruzova completed her veterinary education, then studied at the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest (UVMB). She worked as a veterinary nurse in ICU and emergency, then obtained her Certificate of Qualification (CQ) for North America, to practice veterinary medicine in both the United States and Canada.
Dr. Kruzova spent three years as a general practice veterinarian in Ontario and later in Chicago, where she focused on small animal medicine, surgery, and dentistry. In 2021, she joined VEG Lincoln Park, continued her emergency education through the VEG NERD (New ER Doctor) program, then completed the VEG ER Certificate program in 2025.
Throughout her career, Dr. Kruzova developed a strong passion for emergency medicine, critical care, and leadership, driven by her dedication to providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets and their families.
