I don't usually write reviews, but this place and staff absolutely deserve a five star review. I've been to emergency vets before, but I'd never experienced an open-concept emergency hospital like this, and it completely changed my expectations. We rushed our pit mix, Lockie, in because we thought she had been bitten by another dog. She was bleeding so badly and we couldn't control the bleeding. It turned out to be a mass that had been bitten, nicked, or somehow erupted, and needed to be removed and cauterized. From the minute we walked in, staff immediately took action. Everyone was kind, compassionate, and constantly checking on both Lockie and us. They explained everything as they went, answered every question, and made sure we were comfortable through the whole process. What really makes this place different is the open concept. You don't have to hand your pet over and sit in a waiting room wondering what's happening behind closed doors. We were able to stay with Lockie, watch her being cared for, and even watch the surgical procedure under anesthesia. That level of transparency gave us so much peace of mind. Even when other emergencies came in, you could see the team working together, which actually made us feel even more confident in the care they were providing. The pricing was in line and fair for what I'd expect for an emergency vet, and they were very upfront about everything. They went over all of the recommended treatments and allowed us the option to decline items that we felt weren't absolutely necessary, as long as it was medically appropriate. There was never any pressure, just honest communication and a genuine concern for doing what was best for Lockie. As someone who's pretty picky and pays attention to quality of care as part of my job, I was honestly impressed. This unfortunate emergency experience felt different, in the best way. The transparency, communication, compassion, and quality of care were outstanding. I hope we never need an emergency vet again, but if we do, this is where we'll be returning to. Thank you for taking such great care of Lockie, and her parents!

VEG ER provided incredible care during one of the hardest moments with our dog Milli. From the start, she was treated with urgency, compassion, and expertise. Dr. Hoffman did an amazing job stabilizing her on arrival. Dr. Charity showed true dedication in helping get her strong enough to come home, and Dr. Miller was consistently kind and caring throughout her stay. A special thank you to Brenden, her nurse, who went above and beyond and treated Milli like his own. We’re also deeply grateful to Morgan, who was always attentive and caring despite being pregnant. Thank you as well to the rest of the nursing staff, including Christina, Cassidy, and Dom, along with management and the director for their support. Even during a scheduled power outage, they brought in a generator to ensure her care never stopped. We will forever be grateful—thanks to this team, Milli is home with us. ❤️

We've visited VEG 3 times now - once for the initial emergency and then twice for follow up. Every visit exceeded my expectations and made me feel at ease. Dr. Emily, Dr. White, Fable, Christina, Sarah, really everyone we encountered each time were amazing! I hope we never need to visit again, but if we do, VEG will always be my FIRST choice! Scrappy says thanks so much for fixing me up! 🐾❤️‍🩹
