Dr. Bogart earned her veterinary degree in 2016 and afterward completed a one-year rotating internship at California Veterinary Specialists in San Diego. She then worked as an emergency veterinarian at specialty hospitals in Texas and New Jersey.
Dr. Bogart joined VEG in 2021 after being drawn to the open, family-centered approach to emergency medicine. She values the way VEG allows people to stay with their pets throughout treatment and believes the best care comes from collaboration among pet owners, emergency clinicians, and family veterinarians.
Dr. Bogart has grown as both a clinician—her clinical interests include polytrauma and toxicities—and a leader at VEG, expanding her skills in team development, hospital operations, and community relationships. Her favorite part of working at VEG is supporting families through stressful moments while keeping them informed and involved in their pets’ care.
As Medical Director, Dr. Bogart is excited to bring VEG’s unique approach to the greater Philadelphia area. Her goal is to create a welcoming hospital where pets receive exceptional care, families feel informed and supported, and team members are empowered to grow.
