Dr. Gonzalez is originally from Connecticut and moved to Florida in 2016 to attend the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. She received her BS in Accounting from Fordham University in New York and worked for JPMorgan Chase in Investment Banking for 6 years, prior to changing careers to follow her dream of becoming a veterinarian.
After graduating from UF in 2020, she went through VEG's Emergency Internship Program in White Plains, NY before returning to Florida where she has worked as an Emergency Veterinarian in South Tampa for the last 4 years. During her time at South Tampa, she also went through the VEG ER Certificate program and Medical Director Apprenticeship. She has a passion for emergency medicine and doctor development and is excited to bring the VEG experience to the Southwest Florida community to help people and their pets when they need it most.
