Dr. Noe Galvan is originally from the Boise, Idaho area where he completed his undergraduate studies. He later obtained his DVM in 2010, and additionally, holds an MPH degree. Dr. Galvan fell in love with emergency and critical care medicine while working at a busy hospital as the sole overnight doctor while living in Houston, TX shortly after graduation. Since then he has worked in emergency specialty care, non-specialty ER, as well as urgent care and general practice. Dr. Galvan has a special interest in toxicology, anesthesia and analgesia, as well as infectious diseases.
Dr. Galvan is passionate about leadership and medical quality and has previously served in various leadership roles such as an overnight ER medical director, lead veterinarian, and has also mentored veterinary students in clinical rotations. Dr. Galvan loves emergency medicine and chose VEG where he could continue to make a difference and contribute to the diversity of veterinary leadership. What Dr. Galvan enjoys the most about working at VEG is the energy and enthusiasm to consistently do the right thing and make veterinary care accessible to all. Dr. Galvan has 2 dogs: a Chihuahua-mix and a Frenchie mix.
