Veg ER Georgetown is amazing! The staff is caring, compassionate, and very knowledgeable. I called the facility on a Saturday evening after midnight when my 8 year old Cocker Spaniel ate an entire block of cheddar cheese with caramelized onions! I was so worried and upset and didn't know what to do. When I called the Georgetown ER the receptionist was so kind and calmed me down. He told me not to worry and he immediately got the Dr. on the phone. The Dr. listened attentively and took the time to explain the best protocol for my dog. She asked me for the name of the cheese that my dog had eaten and quickly researched the ingredients and the amount of onion content per block of cheese. Luckily, the % of onion in the cheese was not in the danger zone for poisoning a 44lb. dog. I was utterly relieved and thankful for the help of the Dr. I wish I could remember her name, but unfortunately I was so distressed I forgot to write it down. Without asking for any compensation she took the time to genuinely help me and put my mind at ease. Thank you VEG ER Georgetown you are wonderful human beings!! My dog is feeling much better and thanks you as well!!

The whole team was amazing. They saved my frenchie Lola on the spot from respiratory failure. Lola was cared with excellent skills, love and lots of care. Her nurses Alex and Clencly were by her all the steps of her life threatening episodes, saving her twice from respiratory colapse. Her amazing Dr. Lopez was great walking me through all the intense life threatening episodes and ensuring she had her meds, tests and constant care around the clock. In the middle of an awful ER day, I felt in the best hands, and truly cared by all the staff and most importantly her immediate team. Best ER in the city! 💓🐶

We brought our 6 month old kitten Pigeon in at 2am after he was experiencing some minor complications post neutering. Dr. Bryant and her whole team made our experience smooth and calmed my anxiety. Pigeon was attentively and thoroughly cared for by each Veg vet tech and appreciated the calming meds he was given to help him through a tough time. I would absolutely recommend Veg to anyone seeking an emergency vet. Thank you, Dr. Bryant! Pigeon is healing up so much better and our regular vet said he looks in great shape now:)
